  1. My name is Jim Reid Anderson; Chairman, President, and CEO of Six Flags Incorporated... Sorry just practicing for tomorrow.
  2. Wow that's so sad. I've seen him in the park tons of times. May he rest in peace and prayers out to his family and friends.
  3. Being a complete numbers nerd I absolutely adore that website.
  4. I absolutely adored acrophobia when I was there in June. Surprise favorite of the trip. Really glad it was open when I was there.
  5. Well, looks like it’s done for the day. Good thing I got a ride on it earlier, and with no wait, as it just reopened from a breakdown when I got in line. I wouldn't put it past the park to get it open tonight. The crew is still at the ride and the trains are still on the track. If there wasn't any hope, the crew would be gone and all the trains put away. *Edit It's currently testing.... Or at least it did once.
  6. Well they just pulled this out of the room that houses all the launch mechanisms for Dragster...
  7. Great report.... I have to ask though, what the hell is it with this area of the country and indoor scramblers? Canobie, Great Escape, Funtown... I want one in the Midwest!
  8. I thought Scorcher was really good. Better than any of the stand-ups I've been on. It doesn't deserve the floorless treatment in my opinion. Now Apocalypse.... Well, the only thing that'll help that ride is the apocalypse.
  9. Just as a general rule of thumb, the earlier in Halloweekends you go, the lighter the crowds will be excluding Saturdays. The first two Fridays and Sundays of Halloweekends are the emptiest you'll see the park all year.
  10. Wish I could join in on the TPR takeover lol. Stupid family obligations am I right?
  11. I made my first trip there a couple weeks ago when I did a full new england trip and I have to say Canobie was the highlight of the trip. I absolutely adored the park. I also always thought it was pronounced "Can-Oh-Bie" but apparently it's "Can-Uh-Bie" the more you know I guess.
  12. Yeah... There was a quicker storm that blew through after that but I'm fairly certain most rides stayed open in it. I know Millennium was running in it since there wasn't any lightning with that storm. Then like I said by 10:30 it was dry and the park got everything open.
  13. Nice report but uh... The park didn't close early Friday. I was in the park and yes the rain didn't stop till like 10:30 but as soon as it did everything reopened even though there was like nobody there. Got two rides on SV, a ride on maverick, magnum, millennium and rougarou in that time.
  14. Bet there's a coaster somewhere in China called Decorating Gravel Weasel
  15. And I feel like it's been a rumor for a while. And since there really hasn't been much teasing I can totally see a smaller attraction like that being what's new.
  16. When I was at SFNE last week I remember seeing the giant wheel heaters in the station for Riddler and Batman. Gotta love six flags sometimes.
  17. Yeah there's just something about MF that is just so amazing. I will say though if it weren't for the restraints, Superman would probably beat MF for me.
  18. New at Six Flags America in 2019!: A new lawn ornament that looks like a roller coaster!
  19. Ravine Flyer in the front seat at night during a quick stop at Waldameer to finish out my new England trip.
  20. ^ lol Yep still one train on my visit. Obviously something still wrong with it since the wait got to be over 2 hours and kept only the one train on. Hopefully it's fixed soon... I can't imagine a fright fest Saturday with only one train.
