  1. Virginia: Intimidator 305 New Jersey: El Toro Pennsylvania: Fahrenheit (Skyrush was good, but I slightly prefer Fahrenheit) Maryland: Superman: Ride of Steel Tennessee: Tennessee Tornado New York: Coney Island Cyclone Florida: Dragon Challenge California: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (didn't visit SFMM or any other park other than disney )
  2. ^ they did feature katun, which didn't look like anything special on TV.
  3. Wow! Gorgeous! Stunning! Can't wait till its done! If it looks that good now, then it'll look phenomenal later!
  4. ^ I noticed that! They showed that coaster in the opening intro to Season 2! I think we can assume that that coaster will be included. While they're in california, how bout going to CGA for Flight Deck and Gold Striker?
  5. wow! Lots of cool photos! 3 big new attractions...coasters in DNA...hmmm...Maybe each attraction will start with one of the letters? Or maybe its a hint at the manufacturer...or perhaps its just trying to say that big awesome attractions are coming. 500+ foot tall poler coaster anyone? Small footprint, big height, makes sense to me! and it would have an observation tower with it to replace Space Spiral...that'd be cool. Of course they still need that dark ride...hmmm...its tough guessing what they could get! How bout an RMC? Grrr theres so many good things that would be awesome at this park!!!!
  6. Wish I could've been there! I would've loved that. Looks like you got some great photos, and had a good time!
  7. Hit dominator on your way out. It is a very efficient coaster and rarely breaks down. Hit up safari village attractions first, then move to the drop tower midway stuff, followed by old Virginia attractions, and by then you'll wind back up at the entrance. It's a very convenient layout circle, so it's not too hard to hit up all those rides. And definitely go to that park on a week day. Lines at BGW will almost always be shorter than the lines at KD, so go to KD on a week way, and it won't be that bad if you have to go to BGW on a weekend. For Busch, I recommend going to apollos chariot, then to verbolten and curse of Darkastle, then to Alpengeist and griffon, then to Loch Ness. And eat at trappers smoke house in Canada.
  8. Well we do have a lot of images SFM's Medusa Steel Coaster...
  9. k crazy idea that ends the problems of the flying launched coaster. the coaster rolls out of the station in normal position like an invert, in the same postition without rotating. it then launches. after it releases from the cable and is rolling down the track, it passes over a fin or something that makes the seats rotate into flying position. it then goes into a MASSIVE PRETZEL LOOP! Nothing could go wrong!
  10. don't forget, they featured Six Flags America! if they can have that park on the show, then they can have thorpe!
  11. loch ness monster is amazin its 60 stories high and a guy fel out ov his seat and landed in the watr when i rode it!
  12. ^ That would be great. A nice GCI would be awesome back there. Of course, at the earliest, that probably wouldn't happen till 2016, or more likely, 2017 or later.
  13. Hopefully they'll hit up 2 coasters from Alton Towers and 2 from Thorpe Park. Colossus and Stealth and Nemesis and Smiler.
  14. KD has posted it's list of the lineup for their shows in 2014. They have all wheel sports listed for 2014. Is that an error? Cuz I was under the impression that they only would be sticking around KD for only 1 season? But if they're gonna be here again for 2014, i'm all good with that!
  15. Hopefully all the big new coasters for 2013. Like outlaw run and gatekeeper. Since FT as SFMM we know will be in it. And if I've noticed one thing, it's that they will often shoot 2 coasters at 1 park. Could superman: krypton coaster be featured as well, if iRat is to be in it? Food for thought.
  16. I feel bad for Gerstlauer. They probably feel betrayed by Six Flags. Poor coaster company. All they did was manufacture roller coasters for the public to enjoy...
  17. When I saw SoB fell down, I was all like WOW. Kings Island is awesome. Instead of removing it section by section, they DETONATED it so it juts fell over! And to make things awesomer, they put an animated SoB collapsing in the Banshee announcement video!
  18. I hate it when parks don't share updates of construction. I like seeing whats going on during the off-season, and to see if they even have track on site by now! Hopefully the answer is yes!
  19. Probably the vehicles. And with that Volcano video, that seemed like a lot of supports inside the mountain. Could there actually be a possibility of a dark ride fitting in the mountain? There looks to be space, but with all those polls, it seems as if they would have to do a lot to the mountain to fit in a ride like that. Just saying, it doesn't look to be possible. But then again, the video didn't show ALL of the inside of the mountain, so I could be wrong, but thats just what it looks like from the vid.
  20. In the off season, I've been doing a lot of re-watching of this past season of ICW: World Domination which aired this past summer. As coaster enthusiasts, I'm sure most of us have seen the show, if not heard of it. However this got me thinking towards the future, which caused me to think of what could be the future of the show. What coasters will be in Season 3? The only ones I know of now are Full Throttle and Goliath from Six Flags Magic Mountain, and Steel Dragon 2000 from Nagashima Spa Land. I thought that this would be a good opportunity to get a list going of what will be in this Season, which aires this summer. I'm sure that we could probably figure out the full list, as many of you out there were probably present for the video shoot! And while we're on the topic, does anyone know if they will be keeping the 'World Domination' part of the title, or are they coming up with another title? Like most of you, I look forward to watching the season, so I thought that this would be a good way to get us excited for it.
  21. wow thats pretty impressive of a change. Definatly gives the ride a new look. I'm sure it will be even better to look at!
  22. Its technically not a coaster. Sorry but anyone who says otherwise is stretching it too much...its a ride, not a coaster!
  23. Looking good! I rode the Cyclone this past year and didn't find it rough and didn't really think it needed retracking, but if its getting it, can't complain! Its a really enjoyable ride and even though its old its a really fun experience. The trains are bliss. Thats probably why I liked it so much! The cushioned seats took all the roughness out, leaving it to feel like a smooth ride to me! Wish all wooden coasters had seats like that.
  24. too bad the coaster didn't launch like wicked. cuz that would check off lots of the coaster types for the park. But this checks off several, which is still good!
  25. Hey, more attractions at the Point? Sounds good to me. Hopefully they'll choose to color the slingshot up and not leave it to be a plain and boring normal scheme. And wow! 360 feet! thats awesome!
