  1. I drove up to Kings Island sunday morning to get the walk back on the Italian Job. When the PKI representive came out t they told us that the Italian Job wouldn't be opening on time to they were gonn take us back to the beast instead. We were all alitle bummed but oh well. While waiting for the beast to open we asked the rep if we could go get in line for Italian Job instead. She personally volunteered to go ahead and get us all a free fast pass for 10-11 . SOunded great, after a lackluster ride on the beast (1st ride of the morning, half empty train, runnin a litle slow) we exited and found the PR rep waiting for us on the ramp with even better news. SHe said the ride had jsut opened and said were gonna get our walk back on it after all. She walked us over to the ride and put us in line in front of a few hundred people waiting allready and gave us the ride on Italian Job. After we we exited the ride she had another fastpass waiting on us to get another ride in between 10-11. It was a great way to start the day off, with two rides in the Italian Job, thanks alot to Kings Isalnd for some great customer service. As for the ride itself, it wasn't the fastest or most thrilling but man was it fun. The trains are f*in sweet, the launch and helix turn was great, and the tunnel was really cool with the headlights of the cars on. I can't really explain the ride anything other than fun. The ride reservation system PKI had even allowed me to get 5 rides in on the day. Cool ride, go check it out!
  2. I love Beer, I can only Imagine what Magnum would feel like with a 12 pack in me, prety damn good!
  3. That woodie is the Dania Beach Hurricane
  4. Quake was gone completly removed when I walked by that setion of the park, that is where the new Tornado sits. Sorry no Hellavator, was in too big a hurry to get in Greezed Lightning and thunder run, hell I only had an hour
  5. Friday May 6th I took my last final and headed up to Louisville to meet my dad and brother for the Kentucky Oaks. After the races were over and we got an awesome meal at the King Fish I noticed it was about 7:40, and SFKK was stil open for another hour. Since my buddies wouldn;t be up for the Derby till around 11:00 that night I decided to head over SFKK for an hour of fun. There were a bunch of school groups goin iun and out and I managed to get in for an hour at a 'slightly discounted' price ( hehehe). So once I cleared the starting gates I sprinted over to greased Lightning and caught 3 rides in a row, mostly back car. What a great coaster, g's in the loop are amazing, and the negatives in the spike are equally as good. From there I hopped on the Road Runner's Revenge for a quick spin, good mouse but not as smooth as it was a few years ago. Aging a little rough. From there I ran over to Thunder Run and in my sober stupor accidnetly ran up the exit ramp. Thr ride op was cool and the station was empty so I got my front seat ride anyway. WOW that thing blew me away from the last time I rode it, tracking really well with great air time in the front seat at 3 or 4 different spots. From there I sprinted over to T^2 because I didn't think I had enough time to make it back to the Twins and back to Chang before park closing. Hopped on T^2, it's an SLC, it was actualy running smoother that I remembered last time, but whatever. With about 12 minuted till the park closed I headed over to Chang and got 3 rides in a row which included the last ride of the night. Still a great standup looper, smooth, forcefull, fast B&M fun. Next time anyone rides a B&M stand up try to sit down as low as possible on your seat and make it almsot like a sit down, a B&M half ass squat coaster haha. It's an intersting way to experience the ride. Well by the time I got off Chang I headed out of the park around 9:10 and headed off to get drunk before the 131st Kentucky Derby the following day, but thats how I conquered Kentucky Kingdom in 1 hour
  6. Anyone got any idea what the crowds wil be like at Dollywood on saturday? I know it's ACE Spring Conference and all but how long do you think lines will be. I'm in ACE but not attending the conference jsut goin to Dollywood on Saturday. Anyone else gonna be there
  7. Nine Inch Nails Head like a Hole would be a cool ass song for a coaster video, as far as Powder Keg goes Cowboy troy (black country Rapper) I played Chicken with A train would be kinda cool. Anything by Audioslave would be sweet to, Cochise, SHow Me how To live, or their remake of 7 Nation Army would rock Hard !!!!
  8. I was watching CMT the other day and noticed a wooden rollercoaster in Kenny Chesney's video for "Anything but Mine". I was wondering if you have seen this video and know what coaster it is. The park depicted appears to be a seaside like amusement park, yet the coaster has turn around after the lift hill before the drop. The only one I can think of would be the Swamp Fox at Myrtle Beach, but the coaster in the video isn't white. Jusat curious if anyone else saw this or has any idea what the ride is.
  9. Raptor has an awesome first drop, it twist to the left but banks to the right and pulls out straight just in time, hard to describe but feels awesome.
  10. Storm Runner A++ WIldcat A Lightning Racer B Great Bear B- Super dooper Looper C+ Comet C+
  11. Raven at Holiday World has a great first drop, suprised no one has mentioned that one yet. Awesome air time in the back seat.
  12. The Cobra at Kings Island used to have a really cool paint scheme when it was repainted right before it was torn down. The alternating green and yello sections of the track rail was cool. Vortex at PKI looks nice with a fresh paint job too.
  13. Fiesta Texas has a great enviromen, the whole rock quary wall setting is beautiful and really unique.
  14. I plan on taking a trip this summer to a few new parks fairly close to me. laste year I hit up hershey's and Knoebles, this year am considering kennywood/Geauga lake or the Branson Parks (Silver Dollar city and Celebration City) and Six Flags St. Louis. Anyone been to these parks and got an idea which would be a better trip. Phantom's Revenge couple of good steels at Geauga, or the Boss, Mr. freeze Powder Keg ?
  15. Storm Runner's launch feels very intense, almsot as good as dragster slower but a lot quicker. The drop afterwards is very cool going straight down instead of twisting. Great Ride
  16. Magnum XL-200 Raptor Wicked Twister Dragster Blue Streak Millenium Force Mantis Iron Dragon Gemini Mean Streak Wildcat Mine Ride Corkscrew Disaster Transport Woodstock Express
  17. Do either of you know if any parks in Orlando (particularly MGM or Sea World) offer an evening only kinda of ticket, like discounted after a certain time. I'm going to Daytona for Sbring break and I'd like to sober up one day and go to a park but don't ahve 60 dollars to spare on a freakin ticket, but I'd pay 20 to get on Kraken and Atlantis and be back to the beach to party at night. Does anyone know
  18. Cedar Point Knoebels IOA Kings Island Hershey Park Holiday World Magic Mountain Six Flags over Texas Fiesta Texas Carowinds
  19. Just kinda curious, most people on the forum probably allready know the answer but I'm kinda new, but what do both of you do for a living? Besides ride all the coasters in the freakin world!
  20. besides Contra for NES, HALO 2 is the best video game ever made. Down here at the WKU me and my teamates play in the dorm ever night over the network. We got 4 X-Box's on 1 floor put bout 3 people on a box, open the doors, talk shit down the hall and do some killin!!!!! so much fun
  21. Shivering Timbers is prety cool too.
  22. Mr. Freeze is prety cool, Wicked Twister sounds cool, Kinda Ka soudns cool as hell whatever it means (it may not be a great coaster name but it makes a cool Halo 2 codename)
  23. We've all said what names suck, no what names are prety cool? I think Vertical Velocity sounds prety dope, and Millenum Forfce is sweet too (cool name, ride's lame). I also like Storm Runner and Apollo's Chariot for cool names.
  24. I think IOA is an awesome theme park with great attractions besides the cool coasters. Ripsaw Falls is the best log flume ever, and the rapids ride and Jurassic Park kick ass too. Almost forgot Spiderman and Dr. Doom's Fear fall, and don;'t miss Posiedon's Fury crazy show that amazes me every time. If you've never been to IOA it would be first on my list!!
  25. The best air on that thing is right in the front!! Over the second and third hills I got launched. front seat=thug nasty airtime!!!! Try it and see for your self
