What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
9Armgeddon4 replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Same here only I was in the 3rd row. -
Today was an amazing last operating day. Station waits most of the day so we were able to ride everything we wanted to twice including the last train of the year on Goliath row 3 and the last ones to enter the queue. Also saw Demon get stuck on the MCBR and Goliath one of the trains to the transfer track under the station.

I actually want to see the DH removed if the realignment happens. I love watching pitchers bat in the postseason especially in the World Series. As for the postseason I think the wildcad spots should be removed and the top 3 teams from each division should make the playoffs. This way 12 teams would still make the playoffs but each division would send the same amount. So it would exactly the same as the Stanley Cup playoffs formate just without the wildcard teams.

Looks like the MLB wants to add a team in Montreal and Portland and expand to 32 teams. This expansion however will not only trigger an realignment but bring other major changes to the sport. The realignment itself would cut the total number of divisions to 4 and bring an end to the AL and NL. The number of games would also but reduced to 156. Here's what the new 4 8 team divisions would look like after the realignment. East: Atlanta, Baltimore, Cincy, Miami, Philly, Pittsburgh, Tamba and Washington North: Boston, Cleveland, Detroit, Minnesota, Montreal, NYY, NYM and Toronto Midwest: CHC, CHW, Colorado, Houston, KC, Milwaukee, St. Louis and Texas West: Anaheim, Arizona, LA, Oakland, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle Here's a link that will explain more about this. http://www.baseballamerica.com/columnists/expansion-trigger-realignment-longer-postseason/#ItQ0Jrl06wMY0M6M.97

Deleted. I meant to edit my last post not quote it.

So the Dodgers have joined a small list of teams to get to the World Series with one loss or less since the start of the LDS era since started in 1995 (I think). Only 7 teams have have done that. However the combined record for the 7 teams is 3-4. Here's the list of the 7 teams. 1. 1995 Braves: 1 loss, won WS 4-2 2. 1999 Yankees: 1 loss, won WS 4-2 3. 2005 White Sox: 1 loss, won WS 4-0 4. 2006 Tigers: 1 loss, lost WS 1-4 5.2007 Rockies: 0 losses, lost WS 0-4 6. 2014 Royals: 0 losses, lost WS 3-4 7. 2016 Indians: 1 loss, lost WS 3-4 8. 2017 Dodgers: 1 loss, lost WS 3-4 So it's now 3-5.

Golden Ticket Awards 2017

If you are going to list a major theme park like Universal's Islands of Adventure under "Best Kids Area" and I'm assuming they mean Seuss Landing, I'm sorry but where is Fantasyland at any Disney park? You honestly expect people to believe that Paultons Park's kids area deserves to be on the list but FANTASYLAND filled with such incredible kids classic attractions like It's a Small World and Peter Pan isn't? Dear Amusement Today - The public isn't this dumb. Everyone reading your awards list can clearly see that it's not real. Obviously the only people you care about gaining respect from are other industry members who will pay you, contribute to your publication in some way, or pat you on the back. We understand that is important to you. But also understand that to everyone else reading... seriously, Amusement Today. Your awards are a joke. What's really funny is that KI has won this award every year. -

Super Cyclone: AzZoosment Park 24 minutes, 12 miles away. -
Here's are the rides I don't ride at my park 1. Buccaneer Battle (Splash Battle)- It replaced what was my favorite coaster at the park Déjà Vu and hardly anyone rides it so there's never a line. Hopefully it gets removed for a thrill ride some day. 2. Dare Devil Dive (Skycoaster)- I don't care about upcharge attractions. 3. Go Karts- Same reason as Dare Devil Dive. But unlike DDD this one really needs to either removed or relocated to another section of the park.

Already planning a 2018 trip around beginning of June. Also trying to plan a Texas (both parks) and Georgia(only if GC gets the RMC treatment) trip. -

Front row on V2 at SFGAm. This was also the last train of the night. -
2018 rumor from Screamscspe. A larger Custom Larson Super Loop, a larger water coaster style slide (custom Thunder Rapids) for Hurricane Harbor and a few other additions for HH. Also HH may become a separate gate from the main park. I personally don't like the idea of separate gates. But the larger super loop I'm interested in.
