I don't care who wins I'm just happy the season is finally ending. Right now I don't think either team will be back next fall. Chicago can only be good for so long before they true into the the team were all used to seeing.

I'm kind of a soccer fan but I my during the World Cup and Euro Champ. Other than those two I don't usually watch it. I will say this I absolutely hate the current MLS playoff formate with the lower seeds playing at home in the first leg then the higher seed getting home field in the second leg. Of course because of this all the lower seeds won(all shutout if I'm not mistaken) Isn't the point of having home field is to play at home first then on the road? What do you soccer fans think of this formate? Love it or hate it.

Man I can't believe the park is only for this weekend and next then that's it until next spring. Makes me wish we had HITP like the other SF parks that do.

^^ I don't think the any rows on the blue side are that rough especially the back rows. Sure the blue side might not be as smooth as the red side but it's no way even close to Mean Streak level and I would know because I've been riding Eagle for more than 10 years. I'll admit the blue side was way better backwards than forwards. That back seat ride back then was easily the best seat on the blue side.

Mini Fright Fest TR time. So yesterday I took my second visit to Fright Fest. I did no do any of the haunted houses though. I got to the park around 6 and stayed until closing(midnight) In the 6 hours I was there I managed to ride 1. Viper 2. Terror Twister II 3. American Eagle- both sides- My friends and I actually split up both rides and somehow were able to get on the same train and row both times. My first ride was on the blue side and the second was on the red side. 4. X-Flight- both sides 5. Raging Bull 6. Superman Unfortunately I never made it to Yankee Harbor or Mardi Gras so I wasn't able to get a look at the Joker construction progress.

Joker construction update from the parks snapchat. The covered bridge that connected Yankee Harbor to Mardi Gras has been moved to its new spot. I'll be at the park this Saturday so I can update the construction progress again then.

A Larson ARM would be perfect for Coney. Truth. Those are made for parks like Luna Park. However, since it's owned/run by Zamperla (not sure of the exact arrangements, but it doesn't matter for the point), Id they got a drop tower, it would be a Zamperla model, and those suck. Don't they already have a Zamperla Drop Tower?

In terms of what 3 rides to ride first, I would say Joker, Goliath then Justice League.

Land clearing has started. I got a snapchat from the park yesterday showing the clearing. I got a snapchat story yesterday showing the work. So it looks like the park is going to updating construction process through snapchat which I like.

That is correct. I was at the park yesterday and the only construction going on is the removal of East River Crawler.

I'll find out tomorrow if any construction has started.

Construction probably isn't going to start until the park closes for for the year. The spot where Joker is going is being used as a queue line for a haunted house plus there's a cover walkway and bridge that has to be taken down.

So according to Screamscape the park maybe looking into removing Viper as early as mid to late 2017 for their next coaster. What could the replacement be though. He thinks it could be the first Dive Coaster in the chain. I don't know how much of this I believe and I hope it's not true.

Not surprised at all that Europa-Park won Best Park. I am surprised though that Lightning Rod won best new attraction for 2016. I was expecting Valravn to win that. As for the other awards none of them surprise me to the least. Thanks for posting this GCI Wooden.

King Chaos, Revolution and Buccaneer Battle all removed at the end of the season. 2018- Flat Ride Package: Larson SuperLoop in King Chaos spot, Zamperla Giant Discovery in Revolutions spot and HUSS Enterprise G2 in Buccaneer Battles spot. Go Karts relocated to another spot in the park or removed completely at the end of the season. Park operating schedule expanded- Holiday In The Park announced. 2019- 300 foot Funtime SkyScreamer and Zamperla Disk'O or Endeavor in Go Karts spot. Pictorium removed at the end of the season 2020- Hurricane Hurbor expansion in Pictorium's spot. V2 removed at the end of the season. 2021- Premier Rider Sky Rocket II in V2's spot
