  1. Made my first visit to the park today for the day so I though I would post a TR. We didn't get to the park until around 3 and left around 9. Ride totals now Coasters American Thunder: 1x- 7/10. This was only my second GCI. Batman The Ride:1x- 6/10. Operations were very slow and I didn't like it as much as my BTR. Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast: 2x- 10/10 back and front row. This was my favorite coaster. The front row was a night ride. Screamin' Eagle: 1x- 10/10. The air time was amazing. I couldn't tell you how many times I was flying out of my seat. 2nd favorite coaster The Boss: 1x- 8/10. Man this ride was fast and not too rough, except the helix, that really hurt. Pandemonium: 1x- 10/10. Loved it. 3rd favorite coaster River King Mine Train: 1x- 7/10. I enjoyed it but didn't think it was great. Skipped Ninja (line was too long) and Boomerang was closed. Thrill rides Xcalibur: 1x- 10/10. I really enjoy it Fireball: 1x- 8/10. This was my first SuperLoop SkyScreamer: 1x- 6/10. It was just ok. Colossus: 1x-10/10. How else could I rank a ferris wheel. Never got on Justice League because it kept breaking down. Lines for the most part were very short and everything was a station wait except for a few rides. Overall it was a great day trip and I look forward for making a return trip in the future.
  2. I noticed that as well. I'm not surprised that the VR is moving to Demon. I mean Demon hardly ever has a line so we shouldn't have to worry about having to wait hours for it. So I think it's the correct choice by the park.
  3. Normally I wouldn't expect the park to be too crowded on those days, but because next week is a bring a friend for half price it will be a litter busier. Have you considered buying the flash pass? If not you might want to look into that.
  4. 1. I don't think it will be too crowded. Monday's are usually the best days to go. 2. Justice League & Superman. 3. Johnny Rockets, Angelo's Pasta and Pizza, Mooserburger Lodge & Strutters. These are all shutdown restaurants. 4. I don't think so. Ride as many rides as you can. 5. At least 3 hours. There have been times where they had to close the line down for a few minutes because of how long it was. Look out for line jumping because for some reason this park has really bad line jumping. One last thing, be sure to ride both log flumes. I hope you have a good time.
  5. ^^ Yes SFStL Enterprise is a Schwarzkopf, not a HUSS.
  6. Steel: Dahlonega Mine Train Wood: Cyclone
  7. I got some great news for everyone. VR Raging Bull is no longer listed as a ride on the SFGAm website. So maybe they decided to ditch it completely. Or maybe it won't be here until Fright Fest.
  8. But I got to ride it for the credit. Don't worry I don't expect it to be open. What I'm really looking forward to is Mr. Freeze and the woodies.
  9. I just hope Boomerang reopens before were there on August 6th. Does anyone know if it close to reopening.
  10. I agree with PKI Jizzman. Get the PL Flash Pass if you want re-rides. You will need it for Justice League for sure as the line gets very long. In fact sometimes the lines has to be closed off because of how long it gets. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.
  11. Alright I know when we're doing our day trip now. We're going the first Saturday in August (6th). We chose a date when the park closes at 10 to ensure we have enough time to spend the day since we got that 5 hour drive from Illinois. ^ I'm just as upset as you are about Raging Bull getting the VR treatment.
  12. SFStL on August 6th. It will be my first visit there.
  13. The lines shouldn't be too bad. Nothing should be more than 2 hours expect for Justice League. However, Justice League along with Goliath and Superman have single rider lines so use them. The VR has yet to start so no need to worry, yet. That's all I got so I hope you enjoy your visit.
  14. Well thanks for answering. I don't think lines will be a big issue for us. Our home park is Six Flags Great America so we're pretty used to waiting in long lines. It's just a matter of picking a date.
  15. My friends and I are planning to do a Saturday day trip in August (not sure of what Saturday yet). How busy does the park usually get on a Saturday in August? We all have season passes and parking would be free because I have a gold pass. Our biggest conflict is going to be the drive there because we live 5+ hours away. Were planning on leaving for the park very early in the morning, most likely between 4 and 5AM. I know what the hours are for the park already so that won't be a problem. This will be our first visit to SFStL.
  16. Thanks for answering. Hopefully your able to finish the list one day.
  17. Wow those photos are amazing Larry. Thanks for posting them. Also I'm interested in knowing which US wooden coaster are left for you to ride.
  18. ^^ And to answer your first question, Larry is moderate and a very good one. I think the reason for his title is because he is in charge of adding new photos to the park index if I am not mistaken.
  19. From what I heard it valleyed between the the banked turn over the station and the second hammerhead turn. Also still no signs of the VR which is good I guess.
  20. Took another trip to the park this week but this time it was a evening visit. Got to the park at about 6:15 and left about 9:45. Got on Viper Eagle X-Flight V2 Superman Dark Knight Batman Condor Bull and Giant Drop were both closed. I guess Bull was down because of a early rain storm that messed up the brakes Giant Drop was down because of wind. Everything we rode was a walkon but V2, but only because of a short dreakdown. It was a great short visit. Found out why Raging Bull was down. It valleyed during the morning test run before the park opened. I'm not sure where it valleyed though. I noticed a crane close to the MCBR.
  21. Four words: BRING A FRIEND FREE Yep, but for people with the gold pass only. So 7 words not 4, gold pass bonus bring a friend free. It's also a Friday which is usually a more busier weekday than normal.
  22. Don't forget Justice League has a single rider line so you can always use that. The only other way your be able to ride JL is if you get to the park before opening. I was very lucky yesterday though because we were able to get on it before the wait time got too long. It actually got to the point to where the line had to be closed off for few minutes because of long it was. Now that's crazy if you ask me. I hope you have a good time.
  23. Well I decided to go to the park yesterday since this week is the BAFF special for gold pass members only and got one of my friends in for free. So I though I was post a Trip Report of how the day went. We were there from opening until closing. For the most part lines were manageable, nothing over 2 hours. There was a lot of line jumping however which always seems like a problem this park has. On to the ride totals now. Coasters Superman: 1x Batman: The Ride: 1x DKC: 1x Viper:1x Demon:1x V2: 1x X-Flight: 2x (both sides) American Eagle: 2x (both sides) Goliath: 2x (we used single rider both times) Raging Bull: 2x Whizzer: 1x (after the park closed) For some reason the entrance wasn't closed off at closing and we saw guests entering so we decided to do it to. Turns out the employees in the station didn't know it was open still. Thrill rides Justice League: 1x Giant Drop: 1x Revolution: 1x Orbit: 1x King Chaos: 1x Condor: 1x Scenic Railroad: 1x Water Rides Yankee Clipper & Loggers Run: Both 1x We also left in the middle afternoon for lunch and a free small slurpee at 7 Eleven. Did anyone else remember that 7 Eleven offers the free small slurpee on 7/11. Overall it was a great day and I'm looking forward for my visit to the park whenever that is.
  24. ^^ GCI Wooden is correct. If you want re-rides on all the coasters get the flash pass. However you should be able to ride Demon and Eagle multiple times without FP because they usually don't have lines. Use the single rider line on Goliath, Superman and Justice League. Also ride both Raging Bull and Viper in the back row. That's all I have for you. I hope you have a good time.
  25. My list. 1. Fury 325 2. I305 3. El Toro 4. GASM(SFOG) 5. Maverick 6. Montu 7. American Eagle 8. Raging Bull 9. Hoosier Hurricane 10. HellCat 5 steel and wood coasters. Honorable mentions: Nirto and Cyclone(Coney Island)
