I see where your coming from, but unless your as into cameras as you are into theme parks, who's going to spend the time to setup for every shot. If it were me, there would be a few times I would take the time to configure the settings, like at the killer whale show or any other time where I wasn't just passing by real quick.

Ride restrictions with a broken arm at WDW?
SLUSHIE replied to BarryH's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
At Knott's berry farm you aren't allowed on turbulent rides with any time of cast at all. I assume this would be the same for Disney, but who knows. Unlike other people are saying, it's not that you can't ride ride because it's awkward, you can't ride because your freaking arm is broken. They don't care how long you've had it on either. I had a full arm cast, and I was down there for family. Silver Bullet had just opened and I was really upset, but once I put a jacket on I was fine.... -

PTR: The Dark Knight Coaster Media Event

Looks like SF is bringing back the crappy themeing their attractions used to have. This steps it up a bit because of the effects, but it still looks cheap and horrible. -
The smile on the tree looks like TP. Thats probably what it's supposed to be actually.

I think the whole idea of putting This ride in DCA is the fact that its a ride that can be rode over and over. Now that I think about it though they have a few rides like that. California Screamin GRR ...Those are the main ones anyway, but definitely not Soarin or ItTtbAB. Definitely not EPCOT, when my family went on its trips to WDW they would always set aside 2 days for EPCOT. Spending one day on each side. One full day in Worlds Showcase, I hated that. Also doesn't DCA have cheaper local resident prices than Disneyland?

I haven't really looked much into this ride and even though I had no idea what to expect, I am greatly disappointed. Disney has had this technology for ever. Disney Quest's Pirates of the Caribbean ride uses the same 3d screen and shooting technology. I find the fact that this was even made into something you can call a ride is ridiculous. They could have just stuck you in a room with a gun and changed the screen for the different games. I think I've seen all I need to see to base my opinion of the ride, and I think it really wasn't worth the money that they must have spent on it. I know the Pirates of the Caribbean ride from Disney Quest would not work in a theme park setting, but that attraction is way better in my opinion. Having said all that though I think the way they used the technology in the ride is pretty impressive, how they linked every screen to every vehicle so that every vehicle can use every screen and keep track of the score.

So is the idea of the trains to give everyone an edge seat and provide a little bit better view? It seems to the the people in the front row of each car wouldn't get that good of a view. -

I'm sure the motor has some sort of anti-rollback mechanism inside of it. There two chains is probably in case one of them snaps. Really no idea though. One could be used to lower the train slowly backwards in an emergency. That staircase looks like a whole lot of fun. -

I still haven't gotten used to that name. My work had discount tickets sitting in HR and I was like wow where is this place! I'm pretty excited for the new coaster, but I would have liked it more if they put it inside the park... not on the flat parking lot. -

The "Laughing Place" is meant to be indicative of a trip on shrooms. -
The only thing I notice that I kinda think is neat about the park is the aquariums along the river. I've never seen that before. The slide through the dolphin tank is pretty lame. I wouldn't expect you to really be able to see the dolphins no matter how long that tank is, but they should have made it 50' at least. Other than than it looks just like any other brightly colored cement covered water park. It does have a nice amount of plants though it seems.

I got some food n stuff, but the two big gifts I got were a pot for the stove that has a strainer in it for making mac n cheese and top ramen and such. The other gift was a Nikon D40x, its awesome.

I have the 80gb Zune. That iPod case looks really great. I really want a case for my Zune but they are really hard to come by at the moment and the only decent one is $50. I've dropped my Zune once at work onto the linoleum floor and I was incredibly happy that nothing bad happened to it.
