  1. ^Yeah, but we want our model to be appreciated by our fellow TPR people. This section could be for rollercoaster video games AND model coasters.
  2. ^You should also change #5 to: "some kid's building a K'nex coaster inside a fake mountain." Now that I see all they missed, I'm glad I didn't go.
  3. I heard it was going to be a standup floorless inverted wooden coaster that was going to use modified Manhattan Express trains. Can anyone confirm this?
  4. ^^My thoughts exactly. If only the Japan trip was first. I hope the U.S. trip includes Dollywood.
  5. The Giant Dipper is really fun, and surprisingly smooth for it's size. It even provides some airtime in the back. Apart from the coaster, the park is pretty small. The only other rides worth riding there are the Chaos, and Beach Blaster (which is just like La Revolucion @ Knott's with an equally horrible program) -Luke
  6. The joy it must be to be a mod. Back on topic. If your shoes are tied, they won't fall off. If you have filp flops, sit on them. Pretty much sums up what everyone already said. -Luke
  7. Looking at Speed, I am now willing to support those who want Flashback to be replaced. ^You could have spared us the poop picture. Hopefully Perilous Plunge will be unbutchered soon.
  8. Yes! If there's a trip in late summer, I'll be able to go. Now all I have to worry about is the money. I'm guessing at least one of the trips will be to Japan, and the domestic one will include Dollywood and BGE.
  9. ^^OMG, I would have never noticed that. Poor little gopher. As soon as I'm old enough, I'm going on a TPR trip. Why can't our Legoland have that waterslide thing? All we're getting is a 12 foot tall log ride.
  10. I like the Top Spins that have independently rotating arms. They look so unnatural. The Zipper comes in second place.
  11. What about all the shirts with the donkey on the back? I'm still trying to imagine what a shirt would look like with lentil soup, or radioactive material on it.
  12. Someday, I will be able to get on the Voyage. (One of my friends has several family members in Indiana, so it might be very soon.) Really nice updates. You should be glad the Looping Star wasn't as bad as the one at Mundo Divertido, where the restraints were worn down to the metal.
  13. ^ I envy you. Half the time I was there, I was forced to listen to this crazy ACE member who, for some strange reason, really hated Robb. I hope to actually meet people when (and if) I go to the BBQ this summer.
  14. That's too bad that Mr. Bollinger couldn't make it, (I was wondering where he was) but I'm glad we can finally know what that 0-car is about.
  15. I know, some of the media day guests were exteremly rude to the employees today. I also want to say thank you to Robb and Elissa for all the hard work the did for us to have a good time.
  16. I feel sorry for all of you on the east coast. Kingda Ka is finally open and then bam, it's closed again. I don't think Superman: The Escape ever had this many breakdowns, or did it?
  17. Ummm.. why are there 3 threads that say the exact same thing? i'm glad you had fun though. Next time, get on Sheikra.
  18. Thanks for making those pictures easier to see. If it is taller than X, it won't be by much.
  19. I always like Steel Phantom, though I've never been on it. I think they should have put lapbars, but not take out the loops. Just imagine if B&M made a hyper coaster with an inversion.
  20. Nope. Apart from the new Shamu show, there's nothing new at Sea World, though Journey to Atlantis is probably just as reliable as the one in Florida. As long as Donna Frye lives, there will not be any new rides at Sea World due to the fact that they would obstruct the beautiful buildings and dirt that are behind it.
  21. I still can't belive I waited so long, but my first coaster with inversions was California Screamin'
  22. I really liked Rockin Rollercoaster. The most disappoining coaster for me would be Silver Bullet. It would be Superman: The Escape, but I never expected much from it.
  23. Does anyone have any good pictures of the other waterslides there? I want to know if it's worth the trip.
  24. Funny, I always thought Rita was long for an Intamin rocket coaster. Hopefully everyone has as much fun on the Magic Mountain camping trip as you had on this one.
  25. I always thought they should combine the floorless and dive machine concepts, but once this is built, Sheikra won't be special anymore.
