Actually, the border wait was only an hour and a half. The park was eerily similar to Castle Park. It even had a darkride in the arcade. However, it needed more rides. We rode everything we wanted to in less than an hour. As we were leaving, I noticed a waterpark a few miles away, so you might want to go to both parks on the same day.

Me too! That would be awesome. Maybe someday I'd even be able to do that at SFMM if you succeed. Luke

I finally went to Mundo Divertido today with a friend, and it had improved a lot. It wasn't ghetto at all. Everything was clean, and the employees were friendly. The Looping Star didn't have that much headbanging in the middle car, and had amazing airtime on the 1st drop. However, there were twice as many rides as ride ops, so you had to wait at a ride for a while before you could get on. I had a good time, but the park might not be worth the wait at the border. The line at the border As we were leaving we saw the train for the looping star was being torn apart The chairswing was being painted They had a kiddie canoe ride, and a train, but we didn't ride The swing ship and bumper boats The wild mouse was more painful than the looping star A train full of riders The trains got new padded restraints The looping star Inside the theater/arcade were a few kiddie rides. Me and Hector in front of the entrance (I'm on the left) There was a pigeon in the lion's mouth The entrance to the shopping mall Jesus watches over Mundo Divertido

Which dueling dragon is better?

I liked Fire better because you get to see the other train a lot more. At least, that's what I remember from 2 years ago. -
^And what type of attraction might that be?

He wanted to put the finished model at Great Adventure, but i don't know how that went. I'm sure he has room somewhere or he wouldn't be building it.

^^I never remember that being there, and I don't think I'm old enough to start losing my memory. I thought there were just some benches there or something.

Finally! I was getting frusterated. This coaster is looking awesome.

^Well, some Six Flags parks do have that VIP pass. Even though it isn't perfect, I'm sure it still better than almost all the inverts here in the U.S. -

#1 on his list probably applies to me, but my mom just said I could go as long as she went with me. I'll RSVP later today. -

Sounds interesting, but I doubt it will be as good as Black Mamba. -
Tijuana Park - has anyone been?
chaos replied to downunder's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Last time I went there were two different parks with the exact same name within 5 min. of each other. The one farther down south was a lot better. However according RCDB, they've combined both parks into one at the southern location. It's basically like an oversized Boomers with horrible service. It is located right next to a shopping mall, and has a Pinfari looping star, a wild mouse, a chair swing ride, and other small flat rides. I might go there later on this summer, and if I do I'll post my first photo TR. -Luke -

Yeah, the lower levels don't do much, but the higher ones rival Batman in intensity. Well, maybe not quite as intense as Batman. -

That's a really awesome coaster. It looks way better than Ninja. And it doesn't have a lifthill before the station. -

At first I thought it was all a big joke. The park sounds interesting. I wonder what type of rides they'll build. -

The park seems nice, but small. That double down looks awesome.

I just saw the Lady in the Water, and was pleasantly surprised. It was WAY better than all the reviews made it out to be.

Wow, everyone really seem to like model coasters. You have inspired me to start my own model coaster thread. I have one question, though. Are you going to use the railing system from Coaster Thrill Ride? It would make this ride look a lot more realistic.
