  1. I finally had time to build again. I've finished the pullouts of both drops. Please comment.
  2. Kiddieland, the Slingshot, and the Subway bathroom. I'll leave you with a picture of the inside of the bathroom that costs 25 cents to use Lets hope SFMM doesn't start doing this. Do I really have to pay to go the bathroom?!! On the way home I got hungy (since I didn't eat a funnel cake) Even though I don't understand it, I like this tram sign a lot better On our way out they were handing out Advil to everyone. (probably to compensate for the pain the rides caused) I'm in that ball For the last ride of the day, I got on the bungee/slingshot. Down we go. -even though you have to climb this cramped staircase all the way up. This slide was fun I'm not scared on this one! At least I could still get on the mini( and not scary) drop tower I can be shorter than 56 inches. See! Tis thing looked fun, but they wouldn't let me ride. Airtime! This ride was awesome.
  3. More pictures. Is that a credit I see? Look at all those people The Sky ride to kiddieland Instead I drank a Lemonade while sitting on a "Footsie Wootsie" Sadly, on my way back through the midway, I started feeling sick again, so I decided not to eat a funnel cake. I thought I would prepare myself for the Scat 2 by getting on this thing. Suprisingly, I liked it, and I think I'm ready for Scat 2. I wasn't feeling nauseous at all anymore, so I decided to be stupid. I got really wet, but I dried off quickly in the hot sun. It was a very enjoyable ride The line was short, but it took a while because they were adding another log with a crane. The log ride opened up, and we quickly got in line. I even got airtime going down that drop It was very rough, but I liked it. After the nauseous feeling passed, I got on the coaster. It had a long line, and I took the opportunity to kneel down for a while and try not to throw up. I went to the Hi-Miler next. It was smooth and everything, but I was finally starting to get nauseous. I didn't really enjoy this ride. It has floorless-standup style seating The tango is pretty fun, although it kind of hurts
  4. Next I went to one of the wierdest funhouses in the world. Pics will explain. Riders getting water sprayed in their faces Windsurf was a very interesting ride Evolution was kind of boring and uncomfortable. Then you go down the drop and into the spinning section The ride gives some good views of the fair Up the lifthill. Goin' down the drop The line wasn't that bad Time for the crazy mouse My shoes got all wet and full of bubbles, and so did everyone else's Too many bubbles!!! In order to escape, you actually have to walk through that. Then the funhouse got normal... for a little while More wierd tunnel things Bubbles! more weird lights Then these weird lights started flashing then it got pitch black, and the floor was still shaking (I almost fell a couple of times) The moving stairs in the beginning were pretty normal -but I still was stupid enough to go inside his funhouse of doom. This clown creeped me out,
  5. So yesterday I went to the San Diego County Fair to get on as many rides as I could in the few hours I was there. I also hoped to eat (and see) a funnel cake for the first time, since everyone tells me they're so good or whatever. I had a good time, although I did get a little dizzy/nauseous after a while. Also, I got a new memory card that can take more than 16 pictures at a time, so enjoy this long Photo TR. Those cars flipped all the way over. I had no idea what was happening the whole time This ride was like a scrambler on even more steroids. It was really hot, but the log ride was being worked on This ride was like a scrambler on steroids. It was just as intense as Goliath's helix. I still got scared, but I wasn't as terrified as last year. I even got on it a second time. I was feeling very apprehensive On any other drop tower I'm fine, but this tiny thing gets me really nervous. I think I have Megadropophobia. This is the only ride in the world that still scares me The signs said it was called Techno Jump but we all know they really mean Bouncy Bouncy Finally! I had to wait in that long line to get a wristband. Funnel cakes look kind of weird. I decided to wait until after I got on the rides to eat one. The crowded, smelly path to the ride section Have any of you guys tried that? Pig races! I didn't stay to watch though. There goes the bungee again. So we walked over to the other entrance where there was no line -but a huge line to get inside There was a short line to get tickets I do not approve of that sign We didn't want to pay, so we took the tram for free These guys were giving people rides to the fair There goes the bungee Fair from the parking lot. The dirt overflow parking lot. toll booth
  6. ^Nope. The tower is completely free-standing. Anyway, I have a small update today. I added the chains to the lifthills, and they work really well. I also started a turn over the station. Cool, huh
  7. I still can't imagime how it happened. I need to start watching Mythbusters more often.
  8. About a week ago, I started a new model in my garage for SSC's model of the year contest. When it is finished, it will be the longest model coaster in the world. Here's what I've finished so far. Stay tuned for regular updates. Bottom of the tower It's even taller than Casey! Twisty goodness
  9. I had to read that article twice to make sure I wasn't imagining things. I'm wondering how a cable could have just cut her feet off without damaging the rest of her legs or something. Poor girl.
  10. ^It's the same with me. I haven't had excessive headbanging on any Vekoma ride. Now Pinfari death machines are another story.
  11. Fantastic Four 2- It was pretty interesting. I expected it to suck, and it was better than my expectations so I had a good time. The silver surfer made the movie worth it. 6/10 Ratatouille- I went to one of the sneak previews today, and it was amazing. Definiteley the best Pixar movie. Nothing can beat thousands of mice making food in a kitchen. Plus, I'm sure this movie is Elissa approved. 10/10
  12. I want to ride that. It might not be Maverick, but it's still worth a few laughs. It reminds me of the buzz lightyear ride at WDW.
  13. I finished a while ago, but I've been really busy and forgot to post the video here. Hope you like the completed product. For more pictures, click on the link. This has been my most themed coaster. How do you like the finished product? http://www.sscoasters.net/gallery/showgallery.php/cat/695 Piranha.zip
  14. Well, there hasn't been an update for a while, but I hope this makes up for it. Do you guys like it?
  15. ^^I got a curtain rod from home depot, cut the bottom rail out, and glued it to the lifthill track. Update time. The layout is finished! Now I just have to theme it.
  16. ^^The center rail strengthens the track and helps the train travel faster. I added a drop an a turn.
  17. It probably would be better with a larger drop, but this is my first coaster like this, so I don't want to build something too big without having experience.
  18. That's an interesting little park. I think it's cool how everything seems like someone just randomly plopped it there, like RCT.
  19. Here's another update. I added some more turns. What do you think of it so far?
  20. What's worse than Sanjaya singing? Sanjaya singing in spanish.
  21. I'm building a new suspeended rollercoaster called Piranha. It uses the bottom rail of a curtain on the lifthill so the chain doesn't sag. I've decided to use two, 3-car trains, instead of 4-car trains. Any comments?
  22. This is one of my favorite updates. Wow, I really missed out. I haven't gotten on X for years. It would have been awesome to meet the Joyrides guy. That was the first coaster website I visited, and the one that led me to TPR. I love nerds
  23. Wow, I had no idea this coaster even existed, but it looks awesome. I can't wait until those personal speakers are incorperated into a ride on this side of the world. -Luke
  24. I'm glad you had fun with your new camera. Those were really nice pictures. Goliath looks awesome. Sue Marvin the Martian! -Luke
  25. That's a very nice update. It really makes me want to go to SFOT. As for the Mr. Freeze color scheme, I don't really care. Apart from not sticking closely with the theme, the new paint job looks really nice. -Luke
