I share your confusion here. Lightning Run is great--lots of crazy airtime packed in a small space. Or an Intamin Mega-Lite?

What was wrong with the round-up? I've always enjoyed that style of ride and am upset that few parks still have them.

While there's no doubting that as I've seen people climbing shade canopies and taking their shirts off mid-cycle and throwing them away. If you make something idiot proof, someone will just make a better idiot.

And let's not forget that Xcelerator is an early 2000s Intamin Launcher. I'd be surprised if it wasn't in need of constant maintenance.

If CP operates their tower in a similar manner to Valleyfair, I see 2 explanations: -If loaded: An idiot ride op hit the e-stop button. -If unloaded: it was in maintenance mode and was being worked on.

Back in 2010, I got my first and only rides on Dragon Challenge. While unfortunately, I missed the Dueling Dragons queue, I was at least able to get a dueling experience. Ice in the front, fire in the back. At least they still duel in my dreams. RIP

Just a bit of early trip planning for next July. My plan would be to fly in to the area over the weekend, CGA Monday/Tuesday, Wednesday either a day off or a spare day in case of weather, and then Thursday or Friday at SFDK. I am willing to spend both at the park, but could I do the park in a single day hitting all credits/worthwhile flats/best of the rest?

Not every ride will be for everybody. As for me, I like my tea strong.

RidTipe turns the water off on colder days, otherwise it's always running. How wet you get mostly depends on where you're sitting. As one who's operated RipTide, I'd recommend leaving all personal items with a non-rider or in the bunnies across the midway. The platform which riders are instructed to leave loose articles on frequently gets wet--especially on windy days. Or just bring waterproof stuff.

While similar, the Roars weren't clones. The SFA Roar was actually longer by 177 feet. But what park wouldn't want an RMC? Cloned or not?
