  1. I hope Tree Top Racers is saved. I have never been to the park but I have been on a clone of the ride at Playland in Ocean City, NJ and it was a fun ride. Some of those hills even gave some air time. And since I think there were only 5 of them made, it would be a shame to lose one.
  2. What makes it worse is that there is already a small Subway stand in the park. I hate how Cedar Fair seems to be taking anything old or "classic" out of the park whether it be buildings or rides.
  3. The only SLC I have been on is Great Nor'Easter at Morey's Piers and although I thought it was a little rough, overall I thought it was a good ride. I prefer B&M inverts but I would ride any SLC I see as long as the line wasn't too bad 9that's if I get to other parks with them).
  4. Beatmania 5th Mix (PS1 Import)
  5. Buy a huge house and put in an indoor waterpark and a giant arcade with every DDR machine, and 100+ other arcade games. Then I would call B&M and have an invert and floorless installed in my backyard. I would also take a few hundered million and put it towards diabeates research to try to find a cure.
  6. Coasters, video games especially DDR and all the other Bemani games from Konami (Beatmania, Guitar Freaks, Pop N Music, Keyboardmania etc.)
  7. Personally, I don't care that it didn't go to Great Adventure since it's not something I would have ridden (I don't go on flat rides that flip you upside down) but I think a lot of people who are Great Adventure fans are going to be dissapointed because Great Adventure is seriously lacking in flats (and losing Rodeo Stampede doesn't help either) and Swat was going to be the ride to make up for that.
  8. Strongly disfavorable, I hate how they are taking a classic ride and updating it to go along with a movie. What's next, an Eddie Murphy character added into the Haunted Mansion?
  9. Early December is always a great time to go. Even up to a few days before Christmas isn't that bad, last year I got there on the 23rd and even popular rides like Space Moutain were only 30 minutes (and that was later in the day) compared to the almost 2 hours line it got a few days later. I wish they ran this even a few days later into December because with finals going into the end of mid December, I usually don't get there until the 22nd or 23rd (driving rather than flying).
  10. Here's a link: http://www.kbtoys.com/genProduct.html/PID/4064339/ctid/17/INstock/Y/D/ They look sort of like the old ones
  11. They recently brought them back. I saw them advertised on TV a few weeks ago.
  12. All the old Nickelodeon shows from the 80's and early 90's NFL Video Games that aren't made by EA Sports Tivoli Pier (an small indoor amusement park in Tropworld in Atlantic City, NJ) Older Dance Dance Revolution arcade machines (every arcade seems to have Extreme now which is getting boring)
  13. I never have been to a club at Pleasure Island in all of my visits to WDW. I think it's because I'm not into going to clubs as it is and with the limited time at WDW, I'd rather be at the parks then spending time at a club.
  14. Family Guy. I watched South Park for a few months and lost interest (this was about 5 years ago).
  15. Out of the 3 I have ridden, Rolling Thunder, Rebel Yell and Lightning Racer, I voted for Lightning Racer. I like the layout of the ride the best and the ride just seems more fun.
  16. Hersheypark, at least 15 times WDW Resort, 14 times. Probably to the Magic Kingdom 25+ times (not sure of exact count but I usually go there at least twice a trip). Playland (Ocean City, NJ) - around 30 times Gillians (Ocean City, NJ) - around 25 times
  17. Outlet stores in Reading, PA. I get most of my clothes from there including sports t-shirts (what I wear almost everyday), jeans from different companies etc.
  18. Oh, that would make sense why the ride seemed so short then. I have never been to Disneyland so I just figured it was the whole ride.
  19. Yeah, I have mixed feelings about what they did to Dorney. I like how they added some new coasters (especially the B&M coasters) but I hate how they removed a lot of the classic rides like those boats that ran in the middle of the park near the Zephyr.
  20. For me, it's a tie between the Jersey shore and WDW.
  21. I used Gamefly (won 2 free months from McDonald's Monopoly last year) and the turn around time from Philadelphia to CA was horrible. It took them over a week to receive and process the games I sent back. I also used Red Octane about 5 years ago. The thing I liked about them was that they rented imports but they didn't have the greatest selection. Something else I didn't like about them was that they e-mailed me a coupon for a free rental after I cancelled my membership (the coupon was sent to all news letter subscribers). I used the coupon and my order total was $0.00. They charged me the rental fee on my credit card on file anyway and they claimed because the coupon was for new customers only (coupon terms never said it). They did credit me the money for the rental but I think it's horrible customer service to charge you for something when you agree to a total of $0.00 when placing the order (if it was an error and they didn't want to honor it, they should have never sent the game to me to rent).
  22. I remember seeing a POV of the WDW ride but it was so dark you couldn't see anything other than the beginning, lift hill and end parts of the ride. If I remembered the URL I would post it. I downloaded the 2nd video you posted with the lights on and I after seeing it I am almost certain the ride at WDW is longer. WDW's ride is 2 minutes and 38 seconds long (according to that Disney World guide that you see in bookstores) and even with the lift hill taken into account, I don't think the one at Disney Land is that long/
  23. I'm still intimidated by the ride. I not sure about the launch and the overall layout looks like a lot. In the past few months I just started to go on more intense rides so I am working my way up to the bigger rides like inverts. Maybe next year I'll be ready for it. I agree. I'm considering not going at all during the summer next year and maybe just doing Springtime in the Park and going back in October. Even on a weekday in the summer the lines were longer than I expected (45 for Great Bear, 30 for Comet, 20 for Sooperdooperlooper!), so these off season events seem like a great time to go.
  24. While I agree that it does seem like a lot of new dark rides are shooting rides, since Hershey already has a traditional dark ride (the factory tour), I'm glad to see something different. And since there aren't really any shooting dark rides in the area, I think it will go over well.
