  1. Chaos, those rides have had too many accidents so I wouldn't feel safe riding one.
  2. Yeah the Guy Game is supposed to be horrible. XBN gave it a 0/10. Some stupid trivia questions and mini games and you barely get to see anything (and even then you are answering the same trivia questions over and over again). The only reason it got so much attention was because one of the girls in the game was underage (17) so stores were supposed to pull all copies of the game (which created the demand because people were afraid that it would be impossible to find) from the shelves but it's still for sale in most game stores.
  3. Maybe the old Nintendo. I remember in the N64 days they made Interplay take out HoboCop, a drunk police officer from Clayfighter 63 1/3 or how all animals were removed from Crusin USA (in the arcade on the Iowa track, you could run into deers and they would splatter on the windshield). But on Gamecube with BMX XXX, surprisingly, Nintendo was the most lenient company. Sony made Acclaim remove all nudity from the PS2 version and Microsoft made it where you had to complete some almost impossible goals to unlock the videos but on Gamecube, all the videos were easy to access. So I think Nintnedo might allow this game.
  4. I feel the same way. I would rather be going on rides than sitting around and watching a parade. Especially when people get there an hour or more early to reserve a spot so if you want a good view, you also have to get there early so it's even more time taken up.
  5. Yeah it would fit well in Cypress Gardens since they don't have any coasters with inversions and it seems like a coaster with only 1 (or is it 2 since you go through the loop twice?) loop would be a good choice for the park.
  6. I wish they would run at least 1 or 2 coasters for the event (maybe Trailblazer since it's probably the slowest coaster they have?). I went twice to Christmas Candylane with the last visit being I think 6 years ago but I don't feel like taking the 2 hour drive for just a few flats. Yeah, it's a shame there are very few video game companies on the east coast. I really wanted to get a job in the games industry but I don't want to re-locate so that basically kills any chance I have of working in the industry
  7. Nice photos, other than the entrance to the ride, it looks like It's A Small World is very similar (if not any different at all) to the way it was before the re-hab. That's not a bad thing IMO but I thought they were changing a lot of it (like getting new audio animatronics like the Disneyland version etc.)
  8. Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes on Gamecube
  9. Technically Vapor Trail at Sesame Place (only coaster in the park) but I am going to say Talon at Dorney. I also consider Great Adventure my home park and there I think the best coaster is Nitro.
  10. Not sure if it counts or not but the Old Engine 99 trains they used to have at Dutch Wonderland that were removed once Hershey bought the park
  11. Original Post: 1. Talon 2. Great Bear 3. Batman The Ride (Great Adventure) Updated 5/14/12 1. Talon 2. Montu 3. Dueling Dragons Fire 4. Dueling Dragons Ice 5. Great Bear
  12. They look like fun rides but I don't think I would want to wait more than 10 or 15 minutes for it. Maybe if they had 4 or 5 tracks running at once it would increase capacity but of course, that would get expensive and something probably most parks wouldn't want to do.
  13. If the tickets don't expire, it's also a better deal to buy the tickets individually if you are a local and plan on riding once or twice a visit since the tickets work out to a little over $3 each when buying 9.
  14. Nice photos. I hate when ride ops make you exit the ride and go through the entrance again when no one is waiting. I know it's probably the rules they are told to follow but management should allow them to make the decision at their own discretion and allow re-rides if there is no one waiting for your row.
  15. Mice and rats. I just don't like them
  16. Chris Rock
  17. Tony Hawk's Underground 2. So far I am not liking it. It feels less like the old games and more like an episode of Viva La Bam
  18. The only time rides make me sick is if I go on a ride too much. Like after I went to Dorney and went on Hydra and Talon 4 times each, I got a bad headache. I think it was because I wasn't use to that much riding at once though (I usually never go on coasters more than once or twice a visit to a park).
  19. Williamsburg. I had a really bad time at Tampa the only time I was there (9 years ago). The one major problem I had was that every coaster they had in the park had inversions at the time (Python, Scorpion, Montu and Kumba). I have never been to any park where every coaster built has inversions and at that time I wasn't ready for those so I didn't get to go on any coasters. I also like the environment of the Williamsburg park better (better thememing IMO).
  20. Dumbo at WDW. During Christmas week, it can have a 45-60 minute wait easily. It's basically the same ride you can find at almost any park or carnival so I don't understand why people are willing to wait so long for it.
  21. I wish they would just re-locate it outside of Japan if they don't plan to have it running in Japan ever again.
  22. Because today is the official start of the holiday shopping season which usually means for retailers, stores go into the black (profits) from the red (losses). I didn't do any shopping today in stores. I did order Metal Gear Solid 3 for PS2 for $9.99 from EBGames.com but that was it. The reason I don't go out for Black Friday is because I hate dealing with crowds (amusement park or mall, it doesn't matter I like going out when there aren't many people) and if you look carefully, you can get deals throughout the year that are just as good deals as the Black Friday specials. For example, Circuit City was advertising PS2 games for $4.99 in their ad. I was able to get those same games at KB Toys for $2.50 and $4.99 last month.
  23. 46/50 with an average error of 30 miles. The New England states is where I had trouble.
  24. I was kind of expecting the Dorney effect to happen. When Wildwater Kingdom is open, the amusement side is almost dead. I know that won't happen at Hershey since it's not a full size water park but I am hoping it will happen but on a smaller scale.
