  1. Possibly. I'm still saying dark ride with the used rides. That's my final answer until some more info comes along. Speaking of coasters though, what would you guys think of a dive coaster? I'm know it's been mentioned in this thread before as a joke, but I think it would be a great fit, especially for a smaller park like Worlds of Fun. They're not all that expensive, and they are much more thrilling than most coasters on the market. What if they build one where Orient Express was, and have it dive into the small valley next to the front entrance? It really all depends on if the SDC rumor of a 2020 dive coaster is legit and if SDC signed an exclusive contract for the area. I don't think it will happen, I was just throwing the idea out there. It fits SDC better anyway.

I think that'd be a great fit, probably not something as big as Valravn but a smaller dive like Krake, Baron, or Oblivion at Gardaland. I don't think getting me 200+ feet tall would be that big of a hassle. I could see a 150 or 175ft. model too.

  4. You must have missed the plans for cga's future . . . Nope. I saw them. I just did not think it was very aggressive Okay, sorry, but you must be blind.
  5. How can you be drinking and laughing when the world needs hourly updates on the rattle status of Valravn?
  6. I waited 45 minutes for Flying Scooters at WOF's preview day. Were we really expecting short lines for this event?
  7. If I were there, I'd just ride the other rides that are open (I'm assuming other things are open?!?) and try to get there super early Opening Day.
  8. When I think miserable, I think Cedar Point for a Sneak Preview Event. I'm so sorry. Should we send help?
  9. These might be the best looking flyers in the chain. I don't know what it is, but I'm just in love with how it looks.
  10. No, but in all seriousness, we probably won't for a while. What would you guys think of a new flat ride package for WOF next year? Maybe the used flat rides with Gerstlauer Sky Roller or a giant Frisbee? I'd be fine with that, as the Sky Roller looks like tons of fun and a giant frisbee has been something WOF fans have wanted to years. Throw in a matracer slide at OOF and you have a deal I don't really care about expanding OOF. It's really a great park as it is and doesn't really need expansion.

  12. Yes. Donald Trump is the Republican Nominee.
  13. I believe Kings Island and Kings Dominion both have taller drop towers. I believe you are correct. VF might have the tallest Power Tower but not the tallest drop towers. Welp, it appears I learned something new today. Looks like theirs is 270 ft. I know right. So many good records there I'm going to keep all Power Tower related comments to myself from now on. But let's just say size does not matter (in this instance )
  14. It's only about 150 ft. tall nowadays. Therefore let's start speculation on a new B&M hyper. I also heard from one of my friends before that Prowler is faster than Mamba. I've even heard Patriot is relocated.
  15. (I'm hoping nobody has said this yet). My favorite is the myth known as centrifugal force. It's a completely fictitious force, and it still boggles my mind that parks still use it for marketing purposes.
  16. To be fair, that didn't stop SFDK from putting one in. edit: not saying VF would get one, just stating that similarity to Steel Venom would not be the reason against it That's a good point. But then again, I hope CF isn't as stupid as Six Flags is.
  17. I don't feel like it would fit in at Valleyfair. It would be too similar to Steel Venom. Worlds of Fun is rumored to get one because they don't have a launch coaster yet.
  18. Because in the summer months Morgan hypers burn through wheels almost constantly. They're just trying to cut down on that.
  19. Any WOF coaster rumor within the last 8 years. (Dammit Matt would it kill you to give us a launch coaster?)
