1. If you think the tweet is asinine then you should really read the first comment... That's modern journalism in America. Last night in KC, the main story on every major news channel was that a creepy guy was taking photos of girls at Oceans of Fun. No evidence, no names, etc. Just a middle aged, blonde mom on the news telling us about how dangerous the park is.
2. Stop speaking like you know what's going on behind the scenes... you literally have no idea... None of us have any idea. For all we know, DW could have spent as much money as possible with this ride. Most everything we've heard is rumor. Okay, then stop with the baseless speculation, you're only spreading misinformation... Okay, that's fair.

4. I would have love to see the comments and madness that would have taken place if these boards were alive during The entire year delay of Superman :The Escape "This is really starting to hurt RMC's credibility" I can't breathe LR is/was partially operational for guest so right there proves RMC did their job the coaster they designed can operate safely period. If you go out and buy an aftermarket part for your car, put it on your car and it blows the engine up you don't blame Toyota you blame the parts maker. Well that's the same thing here RMC had someone else do the launch system and they are to blame how hard is that to comprehend. Intamin has had many issues and delays from the use of outside suppliers and they continue on to make and still making some of the most noteworthy rides in the business. RMC right now is the hottest ticket in the industry trust their rep is still Golden people in the industry know that prototypes and new idea's may take a little work to get the kinks out and that the customer even though they may be disappointed will still be there once the kinks are worked out especially when you dealing with a coaster as amazing looking as Lightning rod trust Dollywood's guest are not outside the gates holding protest b/c LR isn't open and the industry isn't close to turning their backs on RMC smdh Okay, okay, I will admit: that post was pretty badly worded and sounds really stupid. I think I was half asleep when I wrote it. All I was trying to say is that RMC should be a little more hands on when suggesting subcontractors to work on their projects. Even though Dollywood cheapened out on the launch mechanism, I'm guessing RMC still brought this to the table (amoung much more expensive options as well). But thanks for actually arguing your viewpoint instead of telling me how stupid I am.
5. This is really starting to hurt RMC's credibility. Sure, the exponents they build themselves work just fine, but the companies they contract to help... Sure, you could say that the subcontractors should take the blame, but RMC should take some of it as well. Not only has a woman died because of the neglegance to who they're working with, but now a ride has been delayed 3 months because of it. RMC needs to do more reasearch on who they hire to help with their rides before they get a worse reputation than they already have.
6. Plot Twist: InsiderMan is Matt Ouimet.
7. I think it's funny how everyone talks down to him like that. He's been on this site years before anybody else here has. And I guarantee you, he has more connections than InsiderMan will ever have.
8. "down for maintenance" Just like Thunderhawk was at WOF and Riptide at KBF? Considering who got the old gondola from KBF.... *cough* us *cough*.... Our riptide isn't going anywhere. Considering the other three in the chain have been removed in the last year, I'd assume you're next...
9. I'm starting to hear from friends inside the park that a new front gate/toll plaza is a go for 2017.
10. I've literally said twice in this thread that rattling is uncomfortable to me because I have a low tolerance to headaches and I develop migraines faster than the average person. I've also admitted it is a personal problem and it doesn't effect the majority of people. Plus I even said Banshee doesn't even have a rattle. But since it seems half of the B&M fanboys in this thread can't read, I'd like to sincerely apologize for hurting your precious feelings with my dangerous words.
11. I wish B&M would address the issue. I mean, it's not a huge issue, but for the price a B&M goes for nowadays, I would at least expect an effort to be made. It's been happening for 20+ years now, and it's kinda annoying. Personally, the rattling is actually very painful for me (and this is from the guy that marathoned Timberwolf a couple of years ago and was just fine. In fact, Timberwolf was my first "big" coaster). Like I've said before, on inverts, when the rattling is closer to my head, I can get a headache if there is too much rattling. But I know I'm in the minority.
12. To me, rattling is only bad on inverted coasters. I get migraines very easily, so when a train is shaking, and the wheels are closer to my head than to my feet, I get a headache. At my homepark, I consider Patriot rougher than even Mamba or Prowler. That being said, Banshee has no rattle yet.
13. If this is true I don't see them moving Asylum, Carnevil, and Bayou that close to each other . Maybe getting rid of Carnevil and finally giving Hexed a stable home. Or even, this might sound crazy, but moving Bayou to that location for an expansion nest year? Perhaps clowns are getting their own house and CarnEvil is going bye-bye? They have so many props that it could easily become its own maze. I know clowns are going all makeup this year, so maybe more changes are coming?
14. The ramp leading up to the ride does not meet state requirements as it is too steep (at least that's what I've heard). Plus you can't fit much there.
15. One of the my friends on Instagram has told me that the construction in the old game building is for the relocation of an existing haunted house. This guy is pretty reliable as he's worked HAUNT before and currently is pretty high up at the park. So assuming this is true, I'm guessing Asylum is being relocated.
16. This isn't even slightly true, with the teasing and all the clearing, it's most likely that they are going to be getting a coaster next year regardless of how many years ago Banshee was added Sure, but it would be the worst decision made by cedar fair, or kings island. All of this deep financial business insight from a 15 year old. Trust him, guys. He knows what he's talking about. I wish I had that much confidence about my ignorance when I was 15. So much insight, so much potential!... Mark Zuckerberg, Tim Ferriss, Anton Schwarzkopf, Justin Trudeau and Donald Trump all rolled into one!!! Get this kid down to Silicon Valley ASAP!... The next major breakthrough is upon us! Cedar Fair is doing the same thing that put Six Flags in bankruptcy 10 years ago. Build big at their big parks, and nearly neglect the smaller ones. That's why Six Flags doesn't build X2's, Kingda Ka's, or El Toro's any more. Because they realized that all their smaller parks now had aging, ten year old attractions that weren't marketable anymore. Cedar Fair: Making Mermories and Repeating History.
17. Speaking of ziz. They might still go with the theming of ziz but change the same to something like maybe gateprotector. Ziz is seriously a terrible name. Absolutely laughable. Sounds like a soda out of the early 90's, not a huge steel roller coaster.
18. It's called a GCI. Prowler and Gold Striker say otherwise. Other than the triple down there's not much air on Prowler Honestly I get great air on Prowler. Especially in the front. It's not ejector but there's tons of floater. Did you ever ride TimberWolf in it's glory days. The airtime was so kicka$$ that you could switch seats because of how hard you flew into that lap bar. Sure, GCI is neutering it, but still, if we are talking about legacies, TW was one of the best airtime coasters of all time.
19. It's called a GCI. Prowler and Gold Striker say otherwise.
20. I always get the best airtime out of PTC's.
21. Last time I went to SDC (2014), they were assigning seats for Outlaw Run. But when I went in May of 2013, they let you chose.
22. I'm at the park now, and nothing has changed. The ride hasn't ran all day. They're telling guests that they need to take a green pill before riding "to ensure public safety." Thank you so much for this post, Guy. I had the pill I my mouth as I was reading this post before spitting it out in fearful rage. I can't believe Dolly would do something like this to her guests. #Itllneveropen
