There will actually be a formal announcement this year with press, so maybe that hints at a somewhat bigger announcement. They didn't do this with Steelhawk or last year's Planet Snoopy update.

4 rooms is a little low, especially when hearing some other parks will have seven this year. I do think Prey and Slasher will be the beat of them, but all four sound fun. Visions will only be good though if the technology is at least on par with high-end smartphones.

And it needs to shut down in high breezes.

I think it will be. I could see one going into KBF, VF, DP, MiA, and WoF all this year. Mark my words, this is the new style of ride that will eventually go into every Cedar Fair park without a Windseeker. They're pretty cheap and they're good for advertising. Worlds of Fun has a Windseeker, but I could see one going to the rest of the parks. Probably not Knott's, as they probably now associate tower swing rides with stuck Windseekers.

Really not a fan of either versions but I slightly prefer Windseekers. Both are not really thrilling rides in my opinion, but at least I can stare at the pretty lights on a Windseeker. Fun Fact is that before the KBF accident, every park in the Cedar Fair chain was due to receive a Windseeker. Even the smallest parks like Michigan's Adventure. Unfortunately, the accident put those plans to a hault.

I was leaning probably 25 degrees off the seat. I read somewhere that it works on all PTC's, but I guess this wasn't the case.

Funny thing is that I actually tried coasterbill's strategy on TimberWolf at Worlds of Fun and actually ended up hitting my head on the front of the car and bleeding though my forehead. still love ya though bill xoxo

What pisses me off the most about this addition is that fact that the circular tower is themed to Hershey candy bars and the square tower is themed to Reese's. C'mon Hershey!

I believe you have to buy a separate ticket to Scarowinds. Not quite sure though.

I've always thought Manticore would be a great name for a roller coaster.

New Mean Streak Iron Streak Iron Hawk Iron Seeker Steel Streak Steel Hawk Steel Seeker . . . I mean, this is Cedar Fair we are talking about. What makes this even funnier is that one of those is actually the name of a real Cedar Fair ride...lol I'm personally hoping for Hawkinator 185.

Too bad this ride is leaving. It was a great ride as long as you rode in the front left seat, leaning forward on an 83 degree Tuesday in June where the weight of the train equals the distance from the Earth to the sun divided by the attendance in the park that day plus the total number of guests riding Windseeker as your crest the top hill. And even then, if you're not riding with a transgender Muslim next to you and a copy of the 2010 hit single Fireflies by Owl City in your hand, you're doing it all wrong!

Yeah, that's kinda the point of a business. If I give you my money, you owe me something in return. I get what your saying, and I agree about 50%. For about half of the Cedar Fair parks, I disagree with you entirely. For parks like Valleyfair, Michigan's Adventure, Dorney Park, etc. prices go up every year and yet they add almost nothing of substance. I understand that frustration, as loyal customers are paying more for the exact same product they got last year. I don't think a park needs a mega thrill coaster every five years, but dont tell me that you should charge me close to $60 to get into your park, nickel and dime me with services such as Fast Lane Plus, overpriced food, etc. and then tell me nothing has changed since 2011 when I payed $50 to get in the exact same park and ride almost the exact same rides. That's BS in my opinion. Feel free to disagree. People have the right to complain if they chose. Believe it or not, every time someone complains on the Internet, no one gets hurt. If I were KI, I'd want to know what people think of the ride so that I can make future decisions accordingly. Is it kinda stupid to judge a ride before you ride it? Absolutely. But the GP doesn't spend as much as we do on theme parks and will spend their money elsewhere if they're not impressed. HOWEVER, I do really like this coaster and the way KI is going in general. I definitely will be spending my money at KI if the opportunity arises.

That wasn't my point. The point is that it really won't feel much different size wise, like everyone's saying.

Nowadays it seems like I always have something to complain about new-ride wise. But this coaster? OMG! This ride looks phenomenal. I really can't find a single complaint about it. Ride, logo, name, etc. are all on point with this ride in my opinion. Looks to be a fantastic night ride too. I'd be shocked if this isn't a better night ride than the Beast. Especially going over the water in the dark. Looks incredible! Prowler has always been my favorite GCI. It's fast, intense nature and it's terrain interaction make it one of a kind. I'm glad KI payed attention in 2009, cause it looks like they're building a winner. I haven't been this excited for a new ride since Fury was announced in 2014. Is it really scaled up 10%? It's only 8 ft. taller, 1.8 mph faster, and 194 feet longer. If I had to guess, I bet both rides feel so similar that you really won't be able to tell a difference in scale.

Here are the renderings for the shed. Maybe I'm missing something, because I have no idea where the drop track would go. The bottom of the shed seems somewhat transparent.

There are other things going on at the park next year that will be costing a lot of money, so I would guess the two rides are the extent of the new rides. We'll see if that front gate and new facade/upgrades to Tivoli finally come to fruition. They've only been planned and then put on the back burner for at least 3 years now I've heard the new front gate is happening.

Okay, thanks! Poor Kings Dominion. It seems like they've been getting cut in the "line" since 2012 (at least according to insiders).

I like your thinking. If this were the Kings Dominion thread, the four would mean 4 inversions on their new RMC.
