  1. I'll agree with the above, and say that you're in for one helluva rush. Even though 2.5 G's doesn't sound like much... it's consistent, and you're on your back. (Note: That's just the launch. The moon slingshot is quite fun, too... as is the projected weightlessness... and the... oh. )
  2. This has an interesting title. Unfortunately, I can't help you. I've been going to Cedar Point instead (oh, darn... ). I haven't gone to PCW in about 6 years. We were just in T.O. on a Grad Trip, too...
  3. How about eating anywhere? For a select time (some promotion, kids going back to school, etc.), WDW is offering a free meal card. 1 counter service meal, 1 table service meal, and 1 snack per day per person. In short, it's $35 a day for food. It's well worth it if you eat at all the expensive restaurants. www.mousesavers.com (In yellow box, click on "FREE Dining Plan" at the bottom of it.) There are more details on the official site, but I can't find the link.
  4. www.geoffreynease.com Have to sign up, but it's free, and high-quality videos of just about everything at WDW.
  5. The coolest job?... A ride op! Hoping to apply at CP in a few years.
  6. Now it seems that MF has cut its seat belt policy in half: http://www.pointbuzz.com/cpplace.aspx?mode=thread&TopicID=16632
  7. On the plus side, the "elephants" were returned to the park without incident.
  8. Summit Plummet had me scared from here till Tuesday last year...
  9. Heck, I might get those kinds of lines on Saturday... Bad news is, around 67 and storms for the entire weekend...
  10. Now if only we could import parks into RCT3...
  11. Media Day Coverage! http://www.pointbuzz.com/maxairmediaday.htm
  12. Both manufacturers are my favourite, for these reasons: 1. Top Thrill Dragster 2. Millennium Force 3. Mantis 4. Raptor etc...
  13. I was torn between Intamin and B&M, but I voted for Intamin due to Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster.
  14. There's the same argument on another board that the maXair riders were Photoshopped in... but whatever. The arm for maXair goes 120 degrees off horizontal (or, in this case, vertical), I believe. Your head is a little closer to the ground than your feet at full swing.
  15. Yep. Watch it every day on PBS...
  16. Holy Grail all the way!
  17. Millennium Force Magnum XL-200 Top Thrill Dragster Raptor Gemini Mantis Wicked Twister Blue Streak Corkscrew Mean Streak Iron Dragon Disaster Transport Cedar Creek Mine Ride Wildcat Woodstock Express Jr. Gemini
  18. The Berardi's fries at Cedar Point!
  19. I have never been on a roller coaster during an earthquake... but I have been on one during a waterspout. http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?a=363 (courtesy of PointBuzz) I was on Magnum when I caught something grey churning up the waters of Lake Erie on August 15 of last year. When I exited the ride, I saw a more-developed waterspout, maybe a couple of miles off the Cedar Point shores! Thankfully, it never reached land...
  20. I always put on the "James Hunt" cheat to get the driveable buggy. Then, I build some ramps, holes, water... no terrain is sacred! (Including the paths, but that's a different story... )
  21. Somewhat off-topic, but I read in the RCT3 Prima guide that the developers had to make the puke less graphic in order to attain an "E" rating from the ESRB...
  22. I had to get an entirely different video card for RCT3, as well. Well worth it, though... *First post!*
