(Sorry for the double) However, two new track pieces have shown up! They look like parts of a flat turn to me, but obviously I can't tell much from this photo. I was thinking it might be part of the turn after the lift hill, before the first drop. But it doesn't have any of the catwalks, or anything like that on it. Any guesses as to where on the layout these two pieces go?? (Let the speculation begin!) Hmmm? -

^ True, I guess I was hoping for more ... LIFT HILL action. I was really hoping to see the other section of the lift hill go into place today. But I am sure they know what they are doing, and eventually it will get lifted into place! -
Let's not forget the S&S Skysling. Maybe i am in the minority here, but every time I visited a park that had one of these (which were very few) the ride was always closed due to "maintenance" issues. Obviously they were not a great product considering all previous installations have been removed, and S&S no longer makes them.

No action on the construction site today. The giant crane is still sleeping. -
Some times I prefer rides that just make me laugh.. as opposed to rides that are more intense. . . Maybe it's just the older I am getting, but I really do prefer a nice fun ride, over a extreme intense ride sometimes. I think that is why we rode Backlot Stunt Coaster so much (more than any other ride) at Kings Island. It was just FUN! We laughed, we enjoyed it... It was all around a really fun enjoyable ride. Every time we hit the brake run we were laughing, and to me, sometimes that's better than a ride that is so intense I am glad to hit the brake run, just so the intensity is over. IE: the Batman clones.

Same! EDIT: After looking into the crane some more, it was fascinating to see some of the other projects it's worked on. . . Like the giant Wind Turbines. #Fascinating -

Granted, but they never tested it, so you are the human test dummy... And let's just say things didn't go the way they should have. I wish it were next summer. -

I spent the entire day today watching the Valravn cam... and nothing (Well at least no lift hill put in place.) Looks like I know what I'll be doing tomorrow!!! Thank goodness I'm making my partner a roast tomorrow that takes 8 hours, and I'm going to have the Valravn cam pulled up on my iPad on the counter the entire time! Can't wait for the lift hill to go in! (Still don't know why I am so excited for this coaster!!) -

I must say the first helix up on Backlot Stunt coaster at Kings Island was a huge surprise. I was not expecting much from this coaster, yet every time we rode it those helices made us grey out.
