  1. Not a lot, but for a poor college graduate I thought it was a decent year. Kings Island Holiday World (1st visit) Kennywood Cedar Point Dollywood (1st visit) Elitch Gardens (1st visit) 13 new credits
  2. Thanks for letting me know so quickly. I'm just eager to see this beast in person next year on my road trip. Yea, I'm not counting on it, but I'd love to see the batwing completed by the time I head to PA for Christmas. I'm hoping to stop by and get a skyline picture.
  3. ^No visible progress has been made, at least from this afternoon
  4. Did they change it? I thought it was supposed to open in 2015. Then again I'm probably wrong about that, my mind likes to play tricks on me haha.
  5. ^It was still really rough this year. I sat in the 2nd or 3rd row and I was in pain after riding it, it was not enjoyable at all.
  6. New Parks (definitely): Carowinds Kings Dominion Dorney Hershey Waldameer Conneaut New Parks (maybe): SFGreat Adventure SF America Kentucky Kingdom Beech Bend Indiana Beach Worlds of Fun Revisiting: Cedar Point Kings Island Kennywood
  7. I've always liked the classic look of Thunderbolt's trains at Kennywood. I am biased because it is my home park and one of my favorite coasters but I still like the old school look. I just hope they can get working lights again at some point. Photo courtesy of user Theme-Park-Urge
  8. ^It is awesome for sure! When I went in October, in my opinion Raptor was just as smooth as Millennium, maybe even smoother? I feel like it gets its share of love though and every time I've gone to CP, it has one of the longest lines. But I have a change in favorite coasters. Maverick is now my #1 steel over Millennium Thunderhead and The Voyage are now tied for #1 woodie for me since my trip to Dollywood last week.
  9. I am 24. My first roller coaster was Rollo Coaster at Idlewild, not sure what age though.
  10. Kennywood is offering 50% off season passes online for black Friday. Anyone know of other parks doing any deals? https://store.accesso.com/PE-KW
  11. I am thankful for Idlewild and Kennywood, the parks that sparked my interest into coasters. Roller coasters that I am thankful for: Thunderbolt Maverick Millennium Force Raptor Apollo's Chariot and many more! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
  12. I've only been on The Voyage so there's my answer. I'm hoping to add Ravine Flyer next summer when I head home to PA.
  13. Looking great! thanks for the updates!
  14. Big Bad Wolf and Steel Phantom - I only got to ride both of them twice. Steel Phantom hurt, but I liked it, thought it was a great ride and would love to ride it again.
  15. I usually only take my wallet, cell phone, keys, and a strap for my eyeglasses. No matter the weather, I always take my North Face fleece that has pockets with zippers to keep everything in, I'm always a little paranoid about losing something on a ride. When I used to go with my family to Kennywood, we would bring big coolers with our lunch, swim trunks and towels for when we got soaked on the Pittsburgh Plunge, cameras, and wallet. I didn't have a cell phone yet so we actually had to talk to our families and friends while waiting in line haha
  16. ^any drop tower makes me cuss like a sailor, I get so freaked out on the way up.
  17. Wild Eagle at Dollywood tonight!
  18. Really enjoyed the video! Loved the response about building a coaster on the moon and having their software set up for 1/6th the gravity just in case Thanks Robb for all the great coverage so far!
  19. ^I noticed the same thing. Thought it was interesting. ^^that coaster is massive, looks like a lot of fun!

  22. Great photos! Very glad I got to ride it in its final season. I enjoyed it, but I must have been too young to remember the pain Also, I too wish they would take out Garfield. The Old Mill was much more enjoyable.
  23. ^wow, I thought it would be way more than that for some reason. Anyone have an idea on how much a relocation would cost? Removing, transporting, construction, etc?
  24. I loved that ride when I was little. Brings back good memories of my first trip to Cedar Point!
