  1. I can't speak on the crowds because I've only gone once and it was after Halloween so it was FREEZING cold. Go Lightning Rod (enter the park and go to your right) and then Blazing Fury, Tennessee Tornado, Firechaser Express (mid day and onward it will have a long line) Wild Eagle (never has a line) Mystery Mine, and then Thunderhead. After that you'll have done a full loop of the park and can re ride whatever you want. Non roller coasters, I'd say their Giant Screaming Swing is awesome. I think it's called Barnstormer. I've stayed at the La Quinta in about 10 minutes from the park and it was cheap and comfortable. The shows and food are 10/10 and between Blazing Fury and Lightning Rod is an all you can eat buffet for only 12 dollars. That includes drinks and refills. I would say do Wild Eagle early just in case it closes for bees. I'm looking forward to another visit the this spring! Enjoy your trip!
  2. Looks like a great ride! Like it was said before, it looks like it has some great pacing.
  3. Bummer loved this event. Loved what it supported. Loved meeting new TPR people! I hope something is done soon, but I'm sure most of us will still make a donation toward GKTW no matter if we get to ride or not. Thanks for the update.
  4. Stunning photos! Really cool to see those, if that's not too creepy to say!
  5. That panoramic picture looks great. Wish I could get over to Japan and take in all the great parks.
  6. ^Looks great! Looks like Cedar Point will be getting Fun Pix along with Carowinds and Kings Island. https://www.cedarpoint.com/what-s-new/funpix
  7. Found this video of Baynum Painting painting TTD, don't think anyone has posted it, if you have, I apologize. Interesting on what they have to do at the higher heights.
  8. Wow, they aren't wasting any time getting that up! I was thinking about taking my spring break trip to Germany but looks like I'm going to have to wait. Really look forward to getting over there some day!
  9. Definites: Cedar Point Kings Island Busch Gardens Tampa (1st time) Fun Spot (1st time) Dollywood Kentucky Kingdom Maybes: Holiday World Beech Bend (1st time) Universal (1st time) SF St Louis (1st time) SDC (1st time)
  10. It's fun but I avoid it now. It gives me a headache and it's slow operations are a pain. I can see people freaking themselves out thinking the restraints might come open and you'd fall. It is fun though, I enjoy the flying coasters. I prefer B&M to the Vekomas though.
  11. BREAKING NEWS! A boat is back in the marina. Alert the authorities! #BoatsMatter BOAT! By the crane! See it? Do you see it? Do ya, Do ya Do ya do ya?!?!?!?!?!
  12. Fantastic update! Getting very excited for what should be my first RMC!
  13. ^That was a wish stated by the maintenance crews 1:18. So i'm sure that it could happen but it's not for sure.
  14. I can see why that's the last of its kind... it looks like a Kanga Bounce that hurts like hell! It's been years since I've been to the park so I can't say what condition it's in but it never hurt in the past.
  15. The biggest testament to Cedar Point's lineup is that people don't even mention Magnum, a Hypercoaster that's really, really good. This is the only park anywhere with an extra Hypercoaster nobody remembers is there. Carowinds? lol I wouldn't say Intimidator is forgotten about. They have 3 main rides, F325, I232, and Afterburn, that's it in my opinion. It may seem like Intimidator is an after thought this year, but that's what happens when you open up a giga. I honestly forgot about it until I drove up...and then after waiting an hour for it I was really wishing I never remembered it. At least Behemoth is really good (and better than Leviathan IMO). Valravn does look huge against the shore like that. Looking forward to more pictures! I agree about Intimadator, not a fan of it and my least favorite B&M hyper. I'll take Magnum over it any day.

  17. For anyone on Snapchat, Tony Clark posted some great photos of Valravn. There were a few more if you want to check out his "story." (tonyclarkcp)
  18. OR...like every other coaster with an unbanked turn after the station. Seriously, this isn't a new thing.
  19. I guess I'm in the minority here. I can't stand the Vekoma flyers, they always give me a headache. I avoid it when I'm there.
