^ I found the restraints on Lex Luthor VERY comfortable and free while still feeling secure. It mainly just feels like a lap bar with two grab bars. Not tight at all. But, as said before, the drop is okay. It is super fast and fun, but not as "free-falley" as other ones. Supreme Scream is still my favorite drop because of the first second or two of the drop where you are at -1G.

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said
thrillseeker4552 replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This may not be as much of a gold mine as the other ones are on here, but when I was at Six Flags Magic Mountain on Sunday I heard a few teenage girls talk about Full Throttle. Girl #1: Woah look at that big coaster with that big loop!! Girl #2: Oh yeah that's the new one I think. It doesn't go upside down though. Girl #1: Yeah it does. It has that big loop, see! (pointing to it) Girl #2: No it just boosts over the top of the loop and comes back Girl #1: Ooohhhh -

^ Thanks for that link! I really like the way Cedar Fair does their maps. They are creative and fun to look at, yet accurate at the same time. I'm glad they changed Flight Deck (Bat) to orange on the map when they re-painted it. Boomerang on the Knott's map is still blue, even though the coaster has been repainted two different colors after that. -

^^ My thoughts exactly. What's so bad about sharing a new park map with fellow coaster enthusiasts? -

I definitely believe Banshee will have some forces. It will be much more graceful than the other, older "snappy" inverts, but I can very safely predict it will have decent positive forces. Even Silver Bullet does. The bottom of Silver Bullet's drop, bottom of the cobra roll, and the final helix all have nice forces. However, it is more graceful. Will Banshee be a whippy snappy OMG WHAT JUST HAPPENED old school invert? No way. Will it provide decent positive forces on the ride? Very likely. -
^ and ^^ Thank you guys! I already have the next 10 years for this park written out and planned; trust me, you won't be disappointed! As for the park itself, I'm really trying to push RCT3's abilities to the limits to prove that it is possible to create a nice-looking theme park without drowning it in CSOs. The only CSOs I am every going to use in this park are custom supports for coasters because the in-game ones are complete poopoo (and I can safely assume that everybody agrees with that). Again, thank you! Those kind words mean a lot to me!

29 May 1978 Hello The 1978 Summer season has now started at Seaside Spot Theme Park, and Forest Run is now open! I will say one thing: our guests LOVE Forest Run! It has been sending out full trains almost every cycle! It is a BIG hit for Seaside Spot! Seaside Spot Theme Park looks good for the Summer season! It sure is in a beautiful setting! Forest Run is now operating! It is becoming very popular among our guests! It also has a great capacity: full trains on every cycle with hardly a line! A large challenge with building Forest Run was the area we had to place it in. It sure is squeezed in there! Forest Run's train whizzing through the station! Forest Run's front tower is now the tallest structure at Seaside Spot! It surely dwarfs Big Dipper! And its back tower also towers of the park entrance! Forest Run sure is a BIG ride! Away from the new hotness, Lumber Run's paint job is now complete! A fresh coat of dark blue and red replaced the faded blue and pink. Forest Run still isn't stopping Seaside Swings from being popular though! Big Dipper has also been sending out full trains today! The Summer crowds are starting to pour in. Our guests love Big Dipper's double-down right before the final brake run! It provides a great airtime moment! And let's not forget about Parachute Plunge and its beautiful position right on the shore! Overall, it is going to be a good Summer at Seaside Spot Theme Park! And Forest Run has forever changed the skyline!

PortAventura Discussion Thread

Looks like a cool addition; however very unexpected. So Port Aventura will have two Intamin drops towers and two Intamin accelerators?? I'm glad another massive KK-like coaster is being built, but Port Aventura would have been far down my list for expectations. Still looks very cool though! -
What song are you listening to?
thrillseeker4552 replied to Mr.Six's topic in Random, Random, Random
Danzón No. 2 by Arturo Márquez. It's a 10 minute orchestra/wind ensemble piece. My wind ensemble at school is playing it and I love it! -
I wouldn't exactly refer to SFMM as a beautiful setting. Nor is the view of the Santa Clarita & San Fernando Valleys all that awe inspiring. Good point, but it'd probably be more interesting than the concrete and asphalt that we saw on Windseeker at KBF. Either way, I wouldn't be too surprised if we saw one in the near future as it is the only major SF park without a Star Flyer.

Helix looks AMAZING. Bravo to Liseberg and Mack for creating a world class coaster! -
What type of enthusiast are you?
thrillseeker4552 replied to arby's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^Agreed. While they may not be the best rides, B&Ms are such great coasters to look at! Their simple support structures and traditional track appears modern yet classic. -
I wouldn't have a singe issue if SFMM relocated Scream to another SF park. The ride is seriously bad. The worst B&M I've been on: worse than Mantis! As for my home park, I'd love to see Knott's give GhostRider some TLC. Whether it's topper track, new trains, or both--just SOMETHING. Heck, I would be perfectly happy to see GCI come in and completely re-track rough sections like they did at Carowinds.
