  1. While my coaster count is only 71, a couple of my least favorite coasters are Green Lantern: First Flight and Viper, both at SFMM. Viper gives me a headache every times after trying almost every seat (I've only had one decent ride on it), and GL:FF crushes my pelvis miserably.
  2. I normally don't refuse to ride any coaster, but I would absolutely refuse to ride a Chinese knockoff tilt coaster, that is absolutely terrifying! If these are indeed dueling Vekoma tilt coasters, then ZOMG! It's a rare time when enthusiasts REALLY hope it's a Vekoma!
  3. During PE class at school yesterday, I was told by a friend that for April Fools a few years ago, SFMM turned Superman into spinning cars, Riddler's Revenge went backwards, and Scream went backwards. But he was bummed when he went because apparently X2 was running but wasn't working normally because the seats didn't spin! Sounds a little painful.
  4. At 8,650 feet long, it wouldn't just be the longest wooden coaster, I would be the longest coaster--period.
  5. I think that if Knott's were to bring back the waterfalls on Bigfoot they wouldn't need another water ride. When was the last time Bigfoot had waterfalls working?
  6. ^I'm wondering the same thing. It's one of my favorite flats at Knott's. Hopefully it'll be up and running soon. I'd hate to see it go!
  7. Top Thrill Dragster--2012. When was the last time you rode a Morgan Hyper coaster?
  8. This sounds fun And the end spikes would curve far beyond 90 degrees so it's even more negative Gs! Sort of shaped like a giant mustache!
  9. ^Bathe in a mud pit! Gerstlauer Eurofighter or S&S El Loco?
  10. "Hymn to the Fallen" by John Williams from Saving Private Ryan.
  11. Looks good. I really like the color scheme. It's eye-catching yet not too much in-your-face.
  12. The trains look great! Since these trains are so similar to RMC trains, I'm curious if they will have seat belts or not.
  13. It's great news to hear that CMR will re-open June 14th. That's the weekend after my school ends; it looks like I'll be making a Summer kick-off trip! Does anyone know if Camp Snoopy will be finished by then, or if it will be completed at a different time?
  14. ^I agree. I'd love to see a Mack family launch coaster (like Manta) at HW, or better yet, something similar to Alpina Blitz. Both would be family friendly (yet thrilling), reliable, fairly inexpensive, and have super uper duper comfortable trains.
  15. I like it. It's a little more sleek and relaxing rather than bright and in your face. Glad they're maintain Fiesta Village as well as Camp Snoop and the Mine Ride this year. What CF is doing to this park just gets better and better!
  16. Looks good! You can definitely see the RMC influence in the seat/lap bar design.
  17. I'd love to see a S:UF clone at HW, themed to their own of course. I don't know what capacity is needed for HW, but a station switch is now proven possible. It would solve the steel coaster gap, the launch coaster gap, and the inverting coaster gap.
  18. I really like how S:UF is being cloned everywhere (and not just SF parks!). It looks like a very solid coaster that could work well in many different parks.
  19. Knott's has a family demographic. Why would adding family rides to please families make them lose attendance? Families bring in more money than a single thrill seeker. If adding family rides generate more money, that is what they are going to do.
  20. Thanks for sharing those awesome photos! I REALLY hope the Mack Blue Fire coasters never get seat belts. Shoot, I said that out loud...
  21. Older B&M Inverts have a bar connecting the bottom of the seats. Newer inverts do not have this. Raptor (1994) http://rcdb.com/1.htm#p=7 vs. Silver Bullet (2004) http://rollercoastersrock.tumblr.com/post/51008148454/silver-bullet-knotts-berry-farn
  22. ^Same. BGW just got a launched coaster a few years ago. And this one is quite low capacity. It just wouldn't look good or fit well in the park. And I don't think they could extend the trains. Cresting those sharp peaks and sharp drops would most-likely cause too many negative Gs in the back when going down and too many negative Gs when cresting the top in the front seat.
  23. If you have the layout of every B&M coaster memorized.
