Kings Island (KI) Discussion Threadthrillseeker4552 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! My favorite seat on Diamondback was the very back row, right seat. Banshee was great in the back row and the front row for different reasons. Beast in the back is cool, but front row at night is unforgettable.

You Might Be A Coaster Nerd If....thrillseeker4552 replied to PCW_Nut's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! This! I've ridden Xcelerator many, many times, and have never had a rollback. Compared to my friend, who got a rollback on his first ride...lucky.

Intense ride with painful airtime! It's all about the thrill, right? Would you rather eliminate all Intamin coasters or eliminate all RMC coasters?

GAME: Finding the Similaritiesthrillseeker4552 replied to thrillseeker4552's topic in Random, Random, Random They both have a launched coaster from Intamin. Let's see if we can get 5 similarities for this one... Cedar Point and SFMM

^You know, I occasionally find myself wandering into the Darien Lake thread, and every time I do, I question why I did so...

Agreed. 2015 will definitely be a good year for them. Although I wasn't really expecting it, I'm a little bummed SFMM didn't take this opportunity to add something (ANYTHING) underneath Scream. I would have almost rather have it not be painted and have something under it instead. But the paint job looks great nonetheless.

Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Threadthrillseeker4552 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! Wow. This news just made my year. Like ^ said, Maverick will now be the perfect coaster!

Adventureland Long Island!thrillseeker4552 replied to milst1's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! Thanks for sharing! I love the color scheme! The perfect color combinations for a perfect addition to Adventureland. It's nice to see that Sierra Sidewinder isn't the only Mack spinner in the US anymore!

Track Spottings!thrillseeker4552 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! Wow, I can't even keep track of the amount of Blue Fire clones that are being built. Could someone update me on how many there are now? Like...6?

I am playing the piano part for my Wind Ensemble's song (Danzón No. 2 by Arturo Marquéz)! I originally play euphonium, but my director needed a piano player. I am so excited! I've always wanted to play the piano part.

Lagoon Discussion Threadthrillseeker4552 replied to Twister II's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! Wow! This looks fantastic. It's so unique! And even better...there is a very good chance I'll be visiting Lagoon this summer when I visit my brother in college! And this coaster will have single cars, right? Or is it like the Smiler where the rows are connected? Is anything confirmed at all for the trains/cars?

Carowinds Discussion Threadthrillseeker4552 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! I'm going to assume, based on your post, that you aren't looking forward to Fury very much? Seriously, how can a dedicated roller coaster enthusiast NOT be excited about this massive coaster? Even if it isn't a top-10 coaster (which it probably won't be), it still looks a heck of a lot of fun! I would absolutely ride it if I made it to the Carolinas and some point in the future.

Mac! Mac! Mac! Mac! Mac! Smooth and comfortable Boomerang or smooth and comfortable SLC?

There would be too much weight in that area of the park, and both coasters would start to sink. What if all coasters with lap bars got shoulder restraints and all coasters with shoulder restraints got lap bars?

PortAventura Discussion Threadthrillseeker4552 replied to Shockwave's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! I don't know how credible this is, but according to Wikipedia, the drop tower in the new Ferrari Land will be 460 feet tall, meaning that the coaster will be even taller than that! Like I said, this may not be true, but Wikipedia must have gotten it from somewhere. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drop_tower
