I'm one of the few who prefer the Slaughterhouse. The sets may not be as good as the other houses, but a few of the effects are a lot of fun, there seemed to be more scare actors than the others, and it was a lot longer than the others. When I went to Insanity Alley, it was just my dad and I because the rest of our group was ridiculously slow and way behind us. The scare actors got very close to us and one followed me for pretty much the entire length of the maze. It was a bit creepy but a lot of fun too. Blind Fury is fun and some of the sets are very elaborate, but it was definitely the least creepiest of the three, at least to me. Total Darkness is/was terrible. Hopefully Voided Vision is an improvement.

The logo reminds me a wee bit of Raptor's logo. Looks great, nonetheless. -

I'm surprised about them repainting it so soon as well. I was thinking they'd leave it as it is until it closes but I guess they are really eager to get Rougarou ready to roll. I am a little surprised they went the route of converting it instead of just getting rid of it, but it looks like it could turn out to be a really good ride, possibly in the top 5 in the park. Also, the people commenting on Cedar Point's Twitter page make me want to go shoot myself. Endless comments that say "OMG u guyz r such liers! Where da hek is tah LeBron ride? U promised!" These even keep getting posted after Tony tweeted that it was LeBron's choice to have them not name a ride after him. People are such morons. -
How do you watch YouTube?
Woodie Warrior replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I use both my mobile device and laptop about 50/50 to watch coaster videos but if I have the choice I'll always watch them on my laptop, so that's why I voted that way. I don't have any social media accounts, but I always watch new TPR videos when they are posted on the homepage or on the Twitter feed on the homepage. A lot of times, though, I'll see them first when I log into YouTube. I hardly watch playlists anymore. I'll either just watch the newer videos or I'll just search a rides name if I want to watch that certain ride POV. I never comment on the videos, so I had to choose the second option, but I do glance through them sometimes. However, most of the time I'll only read one or two because eventually I'll see a comment from that one guy who just HAS to comment "I want to drive this thing! Haha I'm so funny!". At that point I have to close out of YouTube and wash my eyes out and cry a little bit. -
Total Darkness was without a doubt the biggest let down. I came out thinking I missed something. There weren't any scareactors that jumped out or messed with us as we made our way through it. In fact, I went and asked two different ops if there was supposed to be Something, Anything to which they politely said, "nope". Here's hoping Voided Vision is better this year. I think there were supposed to be people that screamed at you as you passed but my group either missed them or they were just being lazy. The guy in the morph suit at the end was returning from scaring the last group when we got to the end so we missed out on that scare as well.

If Cedar Fair was planning on relocating it within the chain it wouldn't have ever been listed on that website. -

Outlaw Run. By far the best coaster I've been on of any kind. -

I kind of knew that this announcement wouldn't be that big. Tony Clark didn't even tweet about it beforehand -

I thought it was because the original trains resembled a real type of car and the company that made the car didn't want the trains to resemble them any longer. -

Not unless you build a second load/unload platform specifically for the style of ride you wanted and even if you did that there still would be hardly anyone riding the stand-up trains. Why are we even having a conversation about this? It's a dumb idea that no major park will ever consider. -

There is no difference in ride experience between a sit down and floorless train. No difference at all. And stand up trains are terrible. This isn't an interesting idea. It's a bad one. Plus, the station would be a mess of people wanting to ride on a certain train.
