  1. Wow, that's a really neat find! But this sound is only found on the B&M steel coasters in RCT2. In RCT1, all the larger scale roller coasters have the same generic lift hill sound.
  2. If you notice in the scenarios that come with the game, though the entrance areas to some parks look very complex, the path that the peeps actually take into the park is usually only one tile wide and follows a distinct path to the entrance. I guess it goes back to the RCT1 AI with the peeps being unable to handle the sheer amount of path choices they are given.
  3. Orange is the New Black Also, I've gotten back in to the DanceDance revolution fever (considering buying an full-sized arcade machine for my basement so I can practice more).
  4. I tried the Beverly again. I seriously regretted trying the Beverly AGAIN (is that even considered a soda?).
  5. Miss Jackson - Panic! At the Disco (off of the album "Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die") I have a 6 CD changer in my car, and that album is the only one I haven't switched out since I put it in.
  6. If I ever win the lottery for any reason, I'm buying a ranch and building one of these on it. TPR members will get free rides!
  7. 7 CARS?! That's awesome! I just really hope that the cars can be loaded/unloaded quickly so we can see all 7 in use.
  8. 1st option because of the social media updates. I was gonna say put more social media updates (like Facebook, Tumblr, etc.), but then I realized...everything on the other social media is exactly what's posted on Twitter! So...just Twitter then.
  9. The credibility of the people on Facebook is astounding. Here is a great example: Craig said: "You are delusional if you think for a moment that intelligent people will believe your propaganda just because you put out a paid advertisement on Facebook . It's disturbing to think that people still need to watch trained animals to be entertained. I dislike your tactics." My reply: "Ummm....correct me if I'm wrong Robb, but I don't think Theme Park Review was paid at all to put this up. Theme Park Review does not endorse theme parks or even get paid by theme parks (I bet Robb and family even paid admission to the park for the event). The folks at Theme Park Review are dedicated to providing the most honest reviews of theme parks. And based on the pictures posted at , Theme Park Review has found evidence that SeaWorld is doing their part to not only entertain guests, but also to rehabilitate marine animals. I think the most important thing that SeaWorld is doing is educating the general public about marine life and how to save the creatures of the ocean. I and Theme Park Review support SeaWorld in everything they do to help these creatures that probably would not have had a chance in open waters." I rest my case.
  10. HHow many DVD's or Blu-Rays do you purchase each year? Well, I buy close to 10 DVD's and 5 Blu-Rays a year. Most of these purchases are between Thanksgiving and Christmas. How many digital downloads do you purchase each year? I buy maybe 5 a year. But I am a frequent Netflix user, and I watch close to 150 movies a year on it. How do you purchase digital downloads? I buy them off of Amazon every time. I don't really have a reason to use iTunes at the moment. Do you download directly from iTunes to your device? I don't have an iTouch or an iPhone (which hopefully will change this Christmas), so I download it to my laptop first, and then transfer it to whatever device I need it on, like my iPod nano 3rd gen! Yeah I still have one. What about 1.5 gb and 2 gb files? I have a laptop, and a file that size can be downloaded overnight. Final summation: I will buy the video on whatever medium it comes out on. But my preference would be Amazon (or Netflix if you really want to put it there) so that I can watch the videos on my big screen TV!
  11. I I'm gonna have to go with Six Flags because I was born and raised in Gurnee. My elementary school bus stop was at the entrance of the park! So my vote is for nostalgia purposes, and because of all the time I spent at the park.
  12. Intamin has come a long way with safety. California Screamin' has one inversion and requires bulky cars with OTSR's, and this ride with 10 inversions only needs a well designed lap restraint on very sleek cars. By the way, that quad roll is mucho sexy with triangular track.
  13. I really can't stand the hype that Millennium Force gets. It's a good ride, but it gets boring after a ride or two because it has two types of hills: A camelback or an overbank. No other types. Okay, it has a couple tunnels. But it's nothing compared to Maverick, a Mega-lite, or anything that comes in a small package by Intamin.
  14. Concinnati and Chicago huh? I think I'll visit some family in Chicago beforehand and one-way it to Cincinnati! Sorry, thinking like a college student with a minimum-wage job. Anyway, it's cool that Robb and Elissa can put together a mini-trip for those of us who are interested but are on a limited budget! This is panning out well, and may be my first TPR trip!
  15. You know you're a coaster nerd if your entire calculus project which encompasses the entire school year is entirely related to roller coasters. You know you're a coaster nerd if you stare at your speedometer, figure out what speed you're going, and try to think of a roller coaster that has that as a max speed. You know you're a coaster nerd if you scream "TWISTY" any time you go through a twisting inversion or a fast banking transition.
  16. Miss Jackson - Panic! at the Disco This is Gospel - Panic! at the Disco I cannot wait for the new album to come out!
  17. I cannot stand how much hype action movies and super hero movies get. It's not like I've seen 500 of those already! Action movies are so predictable, they're way too long, and they're totally cliche. That and post-apocalyptic movies. God, every movie preview is either post-apocalyptic or action. It gets on my nerves, and frankly, I'd rather see a chick flick than another movie of these genres (and I'm an 18-year-old male).
  18. My first Arrow was Demon at SFGAm. This ride was about an hour or so before the ride got stuck upside-down on the second loop. But I was more terrified by the unexplainable ejector airtime on the first drop than the ride getting stuck.
  19. It's interesting that this thread got revived the same day that I applied for a cast member internship for next summer! I really want.to be part of the magic, and I promise I won't break character if I get a job!
  20. A few days ago I went on SkyScreamer at SFOG. That was truly terrifying. About 2/3 of the way up, I though I was close to the top. Then I look up and see that there is still quite a bit of tower left to go up. Then, the ride came down, I felt better, but it wasn't slowing down like I expected it to. Next thing I know, I'm going back up to the top of the tower. The second time up was a lot more relaxing, and I can say that I have conquered my fear of heights on that terrifying ride.
  21. Guys, this new roller coaster is our chance to try to get another Mega-lite! I already suggested that SFOG get one.
  22. Towards the end, I thought to myself "This could use a heartline roll at the end". AND THEN IT HAPPENED! Helix delivered!
  23. Guys, Six Flags Over Georgia has YOLO merch! I got a t-shirt. sunglasses, and a backpack. Thanks Full Throttle for all the YOLO stuff!
  24. The lines were long everywhere else in the park, so I whored it up on Wile E. Coyote Canyon Blaster before I left . Oh yeah, it's at Six Flags Over Georgia.
  25. Do you think I could fit a Mega-lite in my backyard? I got 5 acres in the middle of nowhere just looking for some excitement!
