  1. Saw Riddick the other day. It was way too much like Pitch Black. I was really hoping for another Chronicles of Riddick style movie. Nothing great. Insidious 2 - I thought the first one was pretty good and scary, but the second one wasn't really scary. It wasn't that great.
  2. At 400 feet, it's definitely a bit more unsettling. Going to have to visit Amy's relatives and ride it!
  3. Haven't they done that in the past where they release a big update early, and just turn it on later?
  4. Nice postcards! Love the mule powered Flying Jenny! We need to bring that back!
  5. Can't wait to see it go vertical! Thanks for the update!
  6. Totally agree. The food is really good for park food, and they have one of the best varieties of food around. That being said, I would pick Epcot over other parks food.
  7. Went to see Insidious 2 today and there was only Amy and I, and one other family. Even though the family was at the top, and we were at the front, we could clearly hear them. They had a special needs person with them, but he was one of those who was really loud and yelling almost the entire first half of the movie. He also started dancing near the front, and almost hurt himself jumping over the stairs. You could tell he didn't want to watch the movie, but they probably couldn't get anyone to watch him. While that's unfortunate, it totally sucked for us. Oh, they also had their crying baby with them. That's right, they brought a little baby to Insidious! What's wrong with these people. I don't care how good a movie is, if we can't get babysitters, we're not going.
  8. I'd much rather have the Orioles in the playoffs than the Rangers or Tampa Bay. I'm just glad my Triple A and close to retirement Oakland A's are doing so well!
  9. That was a pretty cool time lapse. It's really amazing how much track they fit in that area. Too bad reviews are that it's so rough, though.
  10. Haven't done Outlaw Run yet, but for me, it's El Toro. Such an amazing drop.
  11. Yeah, that could work even better. Could be a fun idea.
  12. I'm really bummed I wasn't able to get to SDC and ride Outlaw Run this year. Glad to hear all the positive reviews. Definitely since like an amazing ride at an amazing park.
  13. I've had my four checks and passed them all and now have the Emporium. The top floor has some perfect candy items that match my house, but they are very expensive. They are mostly over 100,000 bells, and unfortunately, there isn't much else she sells after that. I used this webpage to help me figure it all out. I compared everything I had to the list, and then used the catalog to fill in the outfits I was missing (I've always purchased every single item since the game started). She only stops by once a week, so you don't want to miss even one! www.thonky.com/animal-crossing-new-leaf/gracie-fashion-check/
  14. Yes! She was hilarious! She kept saying things to us "Why are you filming our rides? They are terrible!" lol That's hilarious! At least she's being honest!
  15. Any construction updates? It's been about 20 days since the last one!
  16. Nice Haunt update. Looks like it could be a fun event. As for the $50 million over the next three years, that's great news! I'm excited to see what they announce in the future.
  17. I think the announcements for upgrades and bringing things back is good. It's a great way to do infrastructure upgrades and pass them off as celebrations!
  18. Thanks for the update! Can't wait to see how it all turns out.
  19. It's nice to see another water ride at the park, especially one that has never been there before! I am glad that it will be open all year. It's still 3 hours away, but at least when I visit family I have a place to escape to!
  20. 7 days officially, 13 days unofficially, when it'll actually occur, no one knows.
  21. I haven't checked this thread in a while and was expecting to see pictures of the ride being open. Haha! Still nothing!
  22. That would be amazing, but not surprising.
  23. I remember him from Northern California as well! Dolby, as in Dolby Digital Sound, has died. He definitely did a lot in the music and sound industry. www.cnn.com/2013/09/12/us/ray-dolby-obituary/index.html?hpt=hp_t2
