http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/motivator.php You know those motivational posters that are usually some cool looking poster, than has some big "feel good" word and a saying below it? Well, with a nice little generator, we can make our own motivational posters. I just want to see how TPR makes motivational posters. Here's one to kickstart this topic, you'd get this one if you've ever been to Indiana Beach or on the Midwest trip. Photo by Casey

My first day of college was last Monday (the 20th). Never have I felt that I actually liked school until then.

And 10 for me No, its 30 for you. We have to wait for Canaba time for the announcement. No matter what time zone you're in. -
Lemme guess, Panera?

As for the rough B&M's (gee that sounds like such an oxymoron), the only one I thought was painful was Iron Wolf at SFGAm (and that was the first B&M ever made). Like Scott, I hope this coaster kind of harkens back to the days of Steel Phantom where it was basically a "hyper looper." I'm waiting for the day we see a true "hyper looper" (SheiKra and Griffon kinda count, but they're not true hypers). -
Thanks for the link, however, the pictures aren't sized right for my screen (1280 by 1024). I still love these pictures though!

Mmm, awesome pictures of TTD and MILF. Got any wallpaper sized or not?

I would kill myself.

Yes. Are you thankful for your Tivo?

After three weeks you can still see it too. I really like PTC trains, as you can see! Awesome pics Will, can't wait to see more, I know you've taken quite the motherload! -
Mmm... nice floater air.

I think this should become a general theme park music thread. Anyways, one bit of music that I had a love/hate-deal with while waiting in line would have to be the TTD station music. Drat, "Baby, I'm ready to go," is stuck in my head... yet again. As for the Tomb Raider music, just Google it. However, if you're looking for the Millennium Force station music, Cedar Point has it up for download. http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/fun/extra/index.cfm - scroll to the bottom.

The Official "TPR MidWest USA 2007" Trip Thread!

Q-bot was a lifesaver for sure. Elissa, you forgot to mention throughout the day there were announcements that Hurricane Harbor was at capacity just to give an idea of how insane SFGAm was. It was still an awesome day though! -
PTR: Matt and Paul Invade WI and MN

^Talking about Sarasota, not Miami. At least you guys get rain, in the central area its been barely a scratch of rain compared to the past years. At least it rained a little bit today. [EDIT- It's been pouring down for the past hour here after I made this post. Weird, but thanks Lou! ] -
Shapiro basically said a few months ago that Flashback would be removed by the end of this year. There is a possibility that it might be rebuilt somewhere else in the park (doubtful, IMO). This post basically sums up the Flashback story, as well as the source for my post.

Is she visiting Florida anytime soon? We definitely need the rain. Great TR guys! -
Photo TR: Three Foreigners and an American do Indiana Beach
Homer replied to Scaparri's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I liked Indiana Beach. I seriously think I.B. Crow might be the best "indie mascot" for a park. It just looks so, classic and not something I've seen a million times like the Justice League or Looney Toons. And Indiana Beach deserves an award for "making you feel like you're out of Indiana." It felt like I was on a Jersey Shore boardwalk the entire time. Thank you Scott for the TR and making everybody that has been to Indiana Beach before want to go again. For those of you who haven't been to IB before. Seriously my favorite "indie mascot." -

I'm saying it right now, Hyper very similar in layout of Goliath (SFOG) or Nitro. -
I doubt it would be a water coaster of sorts nor will I think Hershey would go with Vekoma for their next coaster. Besides, that 10 looper is launched, and Hershey already has a similar ride (Storm Runner). They're plopping down some decent dough for this addition and a B&M or Intamin seems to be the most realistic possibilities at the moment. What type of coaster is still a ballpark figure.

High School Trips to Theme Parks
Homer replied to moviekid21's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
What's the harm gets my vote. I went to Disney's Grad Nite at WDW a few months ago. Despite long lines, everybody was well behaved and the event went off very smoothly. I didn't see any cases of "severe teen drama/angst" going off. I don't really get the picture you're trying to paint on all teenagers, but then again this was at a Disney park. -
Scale Coaster trains! Griffon and Alpengeist
Homer replied to CD_Staff's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm not really into hobby building that much, but I wouldn't mind a "SheiKra" train on top of my desk. Really neat "souvenir" of sorts and I can't wait to see more coaster trains recreated. -
Mmmm... wandless Spaceship Earth.
