  1. I've always wanted to visit Raymond James for a Bucs game. You got awesome seats. A great Tampa trip report though! Sad thing is, it was repainted in 2006 and it rusted back to the way it was. Oh well, I still love the ride. I agree the Trop is pretty abysmal stadium wise, although the amount of things to do inside is impressive. I kind of wanted that new stadium to happen, but the Trop is still perfectly functional as a stadium.
  2. Voted TPR for best overall site, RCDB for best informal site, and CoasterFanatics for best interactive site. As for the other categories, I'm neutral as I don't really care about the drama of "serious enthusiasts."
  3. Today Chinese Democracy was finally released. And the fitting coincidence, China has already banned the album.
  4. Still kind of peeved Florida is higher than the national average for premium. Then again, we did have some of the lowest prices of gas during the past summer when it was $4/gal. As for premium right now, the lowest I've seen is $2.19. As for regular, $1.94.
  5. These barbers better have a steady hand, because I'll be impressed if they could give a haircut on a ride. On a serious note though, I just don't get this convergence. First Six Flags buys out a chunk of Dick Clark Productions, now haircuts? I don't know if this is even the right direction for Six Flags to go into. I don't know many customers willing to spend money at a novelty barber shop, especially in this economy.
  6. Adventureland still looks like a good comedy film to look forward to. I hope it still has the down to earth feeling of Superbad. One of the biggest reasons why I liked Superbad was that it really portrayed the same feeling of the last days of senior year. It looks like Adventureland might pull that off again.
  7. ...face lift? Well, Star Tours almost got a face lift back in 1999/2000 when Episode I came out. The only thing that formulated from that was the renovation of the gift shop at the end of the ride. The rumor is still around of Star Tours 2 being made. Back To The Future was a good ride, although its age kind of killed it. I still have yet to ride The Simpsons Ride. I also kind of miss Akbar's Adventure Tours just because it was a good family attraction. Then again, Martin Short. Oh well, Pirates! 4D is better anyway.
  8. That American Government test I thought I totally bombed on... Phew... an 84.
  9. No, they're replacing water with wine for the new "Aphrodite's Super Awesome Party" attraction.
  10. Imposter Tim Allen has such a nice, full pedostache.
  11. Kinda hated how life threw stuff at me at the last minute and that I couldn't go to Cypress Gardens. Aside from that a great TR. Fun kind of fact: Swamp Thing was originally going to be named Navi-Gator and have a UF theme. I guess nothing formulated from there except for the paint job.
  12. $2.09 in Florida.
  13. Its still on for me, but 2009 is getting hyped. So far on my list: -Rode first Boomerang (Boomerang at Elitch Gardens) -About to do a Cypress Gardens credit run. Uneventful year.
  14. The Butt Genie, probably one of the funniest comics on the web. http://www.comicswithoutviolence.com/ Don't rub random butts.
  15. For some odd reason, Cypress Gardens' hours page isn't loading in Firefox but in IE it works. Here's a repost of this weekends hours. Friday 11/14: 10AM-5PM Saturday 11/15: 10AM-6PM Sunday 11/16: 10AM-5PM
  16. Credit run time. I've been procrastinating and now is the time. I guess Saturday after work I'm making a beeline up there. Woo I guess...
  17. Clawshun... caution? It also looks like Metropolis' economy is also in the gutter too. Here's hoping this is as epic as Fahrenheit's hype was.
  18. This post owns, I love you. They wasted more than a decade on this?
  19. You know, a lot of older people go back to college if they want to pursue another career. In some of my classes, there are people as old as their 40's and 50's as students. On topic though, judging that you're from Cincinnati; you should use some POV's from Kings Island and Cedar Point. That way, your audience is more familiar with what your talking about and relate with roller coasters they might have already ridden.
  20. Looks like not much has changed since my visit back in August except for all of the Fright Fest stuff. As for the water park, I'd say its pretty successful and I saw a lot of families go into it when I went. Sure its not Water World. Quick question, was Ghost Blasters up and running? Last time I was there, the ride was still undergoing some groundwork and electric work.
  21. Dragon on Dragon wins it. Goodness that thread brought back memories.
  22. I'm mostly addicted to comedies, here's my list; -South Park -The Simpsons -The Office -30 Rock -Two and a Half Men -Saturday Night Live -Futurama -Chuck -MXC -Scrubs -Cash Cab -Mythbusters -Dirty Jobs -Game Shows -Family Guy -American Dad -Robot Chicken -Aqua Teen Hunger Force -Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!
  23. This GCI looks infinitely to the 99th power better than Psyclone and hopefully it delivers a good ride like Kentucky Rumbler and be immersive with the sound system. While I still think a Terminator theme is a little out of place, it will probably grow on me. Cant wait to see the updates!
