  1. If anyone's got money, my parents have some land down here in Florida. Not sure if my parents would like it, but my seven year old brother would love it. Come on Elissa. You love Intamin rides!
  2. It's buried in there. Here's a screenshot.
  3. Here's a few I've caught on my PC "You haven't done anything wrong". That's reassuring. I think this is an Internet Explorer error message. No wonder I switched to Firefox. All your base are belong to us The Sims games are known for their very descriptive error messages. The original simply crashed without any error message.
  4. According to dictionary.com, mak is a word, and so is mako. Time to start over. X...wait, that's a coaster at SFMM Q
  5. If you're on a budget, consider GIMP (an open source paint program), http://www.gimp.org/ Paint Shop Pro, http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=Corel3/Products/Display&pfid=1047024307383 And the best for last, Microsoft Paint
  6. Route: Orlando, Fl to Charlotte, NC, to LGW (London Gatwick), return trip Date: August 2004 Airline: US Airways, 757 out of Orlando, Airbus A330 out of Charlotte, standard coach class Incidents: Checking was a disaster. A computer glitch delayed all flights out of Orlando, but my flight was only delayed by an hour or so. In Charlotte, I boarded the plane without too much difficulty On the return trip, the laptop power port in my seat was broken, and one of the flight attendants was somewhat rude. US Airways + TV's in all the seats, including some of the latest movies + Laptop power ports (when they work) + Most of my flights arrived on time + My baggage wasn't lost + Had two empty seats next to me on the Charlotte->LGW portion - Computer glitch delayed all flights out of Orlando (this was BEFORE the hurricane came and destroyed half the airport when I returned) - Flight attendant was rude - Not as good as Virgin Atlantic (on VA back in 1999, we had SNES games in every coach seat, along with movies, TV shows, music channels, and even a tracking map that showed where the plane was going AND we got "bumped" up to first class before landing)
  7. It's just one of the small lakes in our complex. Not Lake Alice or anything fancy like that.
  8. I love that lovely blue and white lawn ornament in the foreground. My brother gets a view of the lake; I get a view of the parking lot.
  9. You're posting in this threat You have an unusual interest in rodents You take a camera everywhere you go, such as the grocery store. If you don't have a camera, you do it all in MS Paint You stay up all night trying to make a perfect avator You understand the significance of Carrabbas and McDonalds
  10. The first time I was in the UK in 1999, we went to Thorpe Park and were heavily disappointed. All the rides kept breaking down, including the Pirates theatre attraction, X:\No Way Out, and the Log Flume among others (I'm surprised the Model World didn't break down too). As a result, we haven't been back since. Later that year we did Alton Towers, and that was much better. I take it that the park has gotten better.
  11. Look under "c:\program files\infogrames interactive\rollercoaster tycoon 2", or wherever you installed it to. You can get to this by clicking on "My Computer", selecting drive C:, etc.
  12. It probably is http://www.rcdb.com/id1587.htm
  13. I noticed in the checkout picture that the magazine is absent. Were you reading it already? I'm suprised management didn't kick you out for taking pictures in the store (they wouldn't let me take pictures in Harrods)
  14. The geniuses in Japan, known as Togo!
  15. Here you go The six in-game characters that rate how good/bad your coaster is Let's ride! The ride editor, quite primitive by todays standard. Can we say "whiplash"?

    Braces

I thought it was long having them for two years. I used the rubber bands all the time, and it meant bad news as they kept getting into the vacuum cleaner. Also, there are some foods that you are not allowed to eat, such as pizza crust, bagels, ice, among others. As said above, getting them tightened (usually once a month) means some pain for a day or two.
  17. ^ Paul Ruben loves Mind Eraser too. We've also got our friends from the Discovery Channel Alan Ambrosini (likes Beast) Steve U, wrote Coaster Lovers Companion Danny Biggerstaff (aka. CoasterDan, posted to RRC) Alan Smith (moved from Virginia just to ride Montu) Robert Cartmell - Everyone knows who Cartmell is Robert Coker (runs Thrillride.com, also wrote a book, but anything with Windjammer on the cover makes me think twice) Also Charles Lindburgh was a Cyclone fan.
  18. I have no intentions to copy Twister II, but whenever I think of Whizzer, I think "going to the bathroom". Still, it's not often that Dan gets to "go" with the guy caught on Cedar Point's webcam.
  19. I've found that DVD Decrypter works for "ripping" DVD's, even copyrighted ones (only for personal backup, of course!). It takes the file on the DVD and makes them into MPG files, which are what they are stored as on the DVD. http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=deskbar&newwindow=1&q=dvd+decrypter
  20. I have four supermarkets within walking distance of me. There's Kash'n'Karry, a Winn-Dixie (which is closing), Albertsons, and since this is Florida, every street corner must have a Publix. I shop at Publix most of the time, and will occasionally go into Albertsons if I have to. Fortunately, Wal-Mart only has a GM store, and hasn't knocked the rest out of business.
  21. Off the top of my head, I can think of the BGT Monorail. Sold in 1999 to Kennywood, hasn't been seen since.
  22. I swear there's a wallpaper under there...somewhere Also, before anyone goes and calls the &@@%#'s...I mean RIAA... all those MP3's are completely legal. In addition, the TV in the start menu really works, and no, I haven't installed the Hot Coffee mod into GTA:SA
  23. /me goes onto www.myprofessorsucks.com (the college version) Still, I found my old high school on the site you gave. First Prof: Not listed Second: Rated A-, should be good Third: Not listed
  24. I used to post to Danimation/FluxD (once one of the best RCT communities on the web) and someone posted a link to the Manhattan Express video. I found all the other videos and signed up for the forum when it first came out. I didn't post much initially but I've gotten more into it now.
  25. I had this weird dream last night. I was at SFMM, only it wasn't SFMM. They had some advertisements for the rumored hyper going in at SFOG (personally, I've never been to any parks outside Florida besides overseas) . To get in, we had to ride a monorail up a hill to the entrance (I think), and there was a bus or something that took us between areas of the park. Riddler was there, and Batman was there, but I didn't get to ride them. One part of the park was in someone's house, and that's about all I remember. Of course, in the dream, I think "I'm finally going to go to this park and it isn't in a deam". In reality, it was a dream.
