Photo TR: Robb's Trip Around The World!
WillMontu replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I'm not sure if it is the one, but World's Greatest Roller Coaster Thrills has some footage of it. Also, I though the Chinese government censored Internet access. I'm surprised they let you access TPR from the public kiosk. -
Another option is to simply build it yourself. Pick out the components YOU want. I buy all my stuff from TigerDirect.com CPU - Go with an AMD Motherboard - Make sure it has the same socket as the CPU. Video - Anything but "on-board" video Memory - 512MB minimum, 1GB recommended Hard Drive - Bigger is better. Keep an eye open for deals. Even Best Buy has some good deals from time to time. Optical Drive - If you're into video editing, get a DVD burner Extras - USB comes standard, but you may want to get a Firewire/IEEE1394 card. You can get a standalone, a motherboard with ports, or get a Sound Blaster card with ports. Monitor, keyboard, mouse - If your old components are still good, just reuse them.

100 reasons you love TPR

27) RatTums 28) People on the boards use proper English (most of the time) 29) Easy to post images, etc. -
Here you go. Use this one instead. Just make sure nobody edits it so it shows detail, causing this board to become AO (Adults Only)

It all depends on -The type of memory you have, and what your motherboard supports (ie. SDRAM, DDR, DDR2, EDO, etc.) -How many slots are available on the motherboard and what is in the existing slots. -How much memory your motherboard can support Usually, if you have free slots, you can just add the memory alongside your existing memory.

I work at the only Target within at least 30 miles of Gainesville, and everyone keeps wanting us to build more. People will drive for fifty miles, past several Walmarts to us. Our store is relatively plain (no cool escalators, but we do have one of those remote control cart pushing machines), except the store gets swamped with college students (and their families) during the "back to college" season. As for checking for the shuffles in stock, employees in the electronics deparment should have a little PDT scanner thing that can check the stockroom. Also, there's a feature on the register that can search the stockroom AND other stores in the area. I'm surprised none of them asked you if you wanted to apply for a Target card. I wish my Target had one of these

I can remember my fourth birthday (got a talking teddy bear, a radio, and some other things). My mother also told me about going to Australia at a young age (probably 2 or 3), but I remember little more than getting onto and off of the aeroplane.

Personally I don't have a cell phone, though both my parents and two of my brothers have them (the other two are much younger and don't need them yet). I have a standard land line, but I use the Internet for most of my communications. I don't have to worry about interrupting a movie or being rude to the people at the supermarket who are checking me out.

Photo help.. (or, please help the digitally challenged!)
WillMontu replied to disneygurlz2s's topic in Ask Alvey
Another alternative is to ask for a CD when you drop them off for developing. The images should come out better as they are scanned directly from the negatives rather than from existing prints. I work in the lab at Target and we can offer both Kodak CD's with all the extra software and a fancy label, and also generic Target branded CD's. They usually come in JPG form, ready to be posted to a website. To be able to post your images here, you should resize them to a decent size (usually 640x480 or somewhere around that) and save them as a JPG. Programs like Photoshop have different levels of compression, but I'm not sure about PictureIt If you want to post a lot of pictures, you might want to get them hosted somewhere, like ImageShack, which can store the image and even generate code for the forum. -
A young boy goes into Jacko's dressing room. Enough said http://www.retrojunk.com/details_commercial/80/ I think I'll switch to only buying Coke products.

GTA: San Andreas Now Rated 'Adults Only'!
WillMontu replied to Meteornotes's topic in Random, Random, Random
That may be true, but there is actually a part in the game where CJ tries to contact his brother while driving. I couldn't get a good enough screenshot of that part though. -
Which Disneyland Attraction are you?
WillMontu replied to Sir Clinksalot's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Parking lot tram! Woohoo! The Parking Lot Tram: The uncredited workhorse of the Disneyland resort. You take visitors from the largest parking lot on earth (Disney World's parking lot is several times larger) to the front door of Disneyland and back again. You aren't the picture of glamour and most wouldn't even think you provide any sort of excitment, but without you no fun could be had at all. You don't mean to, but you seem often sour. You get little respect and sometimes get losts of scorn, but yet you are faithful and eager to please. People need you and you need them. Your simpleness is the perfect backdrop to showcase the eager smiles of children riding you for their first time to the Happiest Place on Earth. -
GTA: San Andreas Now Rated 'Adults Only'!
WillMontu replied to Meteornotes's topic in Random, Random, Random
I think this scene is more controversal than some hidden adult theme. Here we see CJ (the main character), behind the wheel, talking on his cell phone. As we all know, talking on the phone is worse than drunk driving. Seriously, The Sims has more nudity. BTW: I've recently "finished" the game, though not to 100% completion. Pay attention to the road! -
Other old toys/other old things we remember
WillMontu replied to Angry_Gumball's topic in Random, Random, Random
I miss original Lego sets (not the licensed stuff they sell today). There was castle, space, pirates, town, trains, etc. My brothers and I loved to play with lego, and we still have most of the pieces stored in buckets. It was always fun until it was time to clean up. Also: Old school Ninja Turtles (got the first two seasons on DVD), with toys, trading cards, etc. McDonalds Happy Meal toys too numerous to describe Classic Nick shows (Hidden Temple, GUTS, Double Dare, WWYD, etc.) -
-
I grew up going to Fantasyland in Hastings. I think it's a waterpark now, but they did have a small portable coaster, and of course, their castle was BIGGER than Disneyland's (and you could go inside it and run around the battlements). And, while there aren't any credits in the South Island, there's always Queenstown, home of bungee jumping, fly-by-wire, jet boating, etc. BTW: They still use that old Rainbows End theme jingle?
-
I wasn't aware of the other castle hamster avator. I though I was being original. Still, I used the castle during the RatTums avator week. On the other hand, the Disney World castle might be a better fit. Here's the original. Obviously, I designed it to be avator size, since I couldn't find many high resolution graphics.

Did TPR get hacked or something?
WillMontu replied to Homer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I haven't noticed anything. Running FireFox under XP (dumped IE well over a year ago, too many security holes, and hasn't had a major update since Windows 98 came out) -
Avatar Theme Week #3 - The Winner is.....
WillMontu replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
How about an Intamin themed avator, or maybe a Disney theme (how about that castle I've heard so much about) How about "If Vekoma built cars" -
Do offer extra seats in your row to singles or pairs of riders, especially on Beemers. It makes the wait shorter for both those guests and the ones behind. Even better if you do it before the station gates open. Don't sue the park if you injure yourself while doing something stupid, such as going into an "Employees only" area or climb out of a restraint Do put down the cellphone. It's okay to use it keep in contact, but keep it out of the lines and rides Don't trash the bathrooms. Other people have to go too, and most don't want to see what you had for dinner last night.

Looks like there will be a mid-course brake in there somewhere. That ride looks insane. So, when will (or if) that No Limits track be released to the public?
