  1. X-Flight was ready before Memorial Day. Additionally, Iron Rattler construction is apparently moving along. I also think the Apocalypse (formerly Iron Wolf) opening was on-schedule. Given projected costs/budget, SF would certainly have created a schedule with construction, etc.
  2. Years later, they would relocate it to SFStL and rename it Boomerang.
  3. Maybe the original poster would enjoy the station and ride experience at Mt. Olympus. I have often confused say- the Hades station for a library. Of course, we can all heed our poster's advice. Maybe we can whisper obscenities, etc. Psss...*$&% Twistty!!!! %#&%&%@@ Loopdeeloop!
  4. I suppose you could also try something similar to Hades and run Snow Coaster underneath the yard.
  5. Maybe give it the RMC-treatment when it begins to wear and rename it NSAC.
  6. Any plans for a Snow Coaster Bash w/ morning and night ERT? Additionally, can we expect the Snow Coaster POV on "Roller Coasters in the Raw 8"?
  7. Haha, awesome video. I especially loved the POV. I wonder if Intamin will build one similar.
  8. I can tolerate most screaming, however, I once had a girl behind me scream at such a high-pitch throughout the ride that she both ruined the experience and gave me a sore ear. I felt like I just left a rock concert. Of course, if you think screaming is bad, how about a guy who passes some gas right before the ride starts. I remember this happened years ago to me while on the Hay Baler at SFGA. The man ahead let one go and we spun around right into a very delightful smell. We renamed Hay-Baler, "Fart-Baler".
  9. As my username suggests, I am an Intamin fan. However, I also enjoy many B&M coasters.
  10. Awesome! I am already impatient for next summer. This will be a fantastic time (and my first TPR trip).
  11. My first looping coaster was the Demon @ Six Flags Great America. Of course, I was only six years old, but I recall how much I enjoyed the tunnel and its lighting.
  12. I would now like to share a moment of silence with the Mt. Olympus ride-ops.
  13. I typically make an effort to ride park trains. It is a way for me to relax/rest during an afternoon of coasters. That said, I really enjoy the train at Dollywood, especially at dusk.
  14. I rode Batman: The Ride when it opened at Six Flags Great America. Some 20 years later, I continue to enjoy the Prince-performed soundtrack while waiting to ride.
  15. I am intrigued by the addition of an inversion. However, I am more excited by the possibility of some TLC i.e. retracking and new trains. Now, I will need to find some time for a three and a half-hour trip to the Dells. Of course, I enjoy the Dells for its quirkiness, nostaligia, and timelessness, which basically means that I will also need to get my mini-golf game ready.
  16. I typically get that Metropolis-feel when flying over grass and near a giant parking lot on Superman at Six Flags Great America. Is that the Daily Planet building? No, it's only a mini-van. That said, I think theming can definitely enhance the ride experience.
  17. I rode Sky Rush, pain-free, essentially alone (three of us in the front row and the rest, an empty train), at night. It was a really incredible experience.
