I like how they've slipped parallels to the current administration into the current season-I saw the first couple of episodes, didn't like where it was going-but now I'm back for the last 3 hours.

haha don't tell Anthony, I told him that it was going to be a tour of Oregon's finest amusement parks You know, you could combine the two in a Northern-Western massive roadtrip. -

Good list, couple of things-Fun Forest under the space needle in Seattle has a kiddie coaster and a Windstorm. Don't miss Oaks Park in Portland! It has a Pinfari 42 with a 30 foot loop and "Screamin" Eagle" -a KMG Afterburner/Fireball. Plus if you get to Playland the two weeks before Labo(u)r Day, the PNE has some more cool flats! Your favorite track support!

I do love how the arch of the track on Xcelerator helps to support itself-it makes KK look so inefficient! -
You know what this park or Playland needs? A rocket coaster! Imagine an Xcellerator clone shooting over I-5.

You know, I live about three hours away from the place, yet I've never been there. I think the Memorial Day weekend opening is pretty weeny, Oaks in Portland opens in March and Playland in Vancouver opens mid-April. I heard EV got a bunch of new rides a few years back and they did build Timberhawk, but I also wonder what they are going to do in the future. After seeing what happened in Houston when land values went so high Six Flags sold off Astroworld-the real estate market around here is pretty hot too...

You guys are missing the, as the PNE carnies call it-OrBITER? Ouch! It was rock hard, painful and felt dangerous, and not in a good way. -
Just to throw in my two cents worth, if you visit Southern California, you can visit Los Angeles and Orange County. There's a Southern California Citypass that gets you 3 days at Disneyland/DCA, 1 day at Universal Studios, 1 day at SeaWorld San Diego and 1 day at San Diego Zoo or Wild Animal Park. Plus Magic Mountain is only a couple of hours drive away and there's other studio tours and you can check out the hookers at Hollywood and Vine.

Here's one of a guy trying to land at Boeing Field-he got stuck in the power lines, finally got rescued after four hours!

I agree, we've got two million people around Vancouver with one old-school park, three million people around Seattle with one mediocre park; and two million around Portland with two tiny parks. Hmm, Seattle's less than three hours from either town...and if tiny Spokane/Cour d' Alene can support Silverwood...

The whole philosophy of Mozilla is standards compliance. Rather than have a browser take most of a market and get sloppy, having web pages built to a standard that ALL good browsers will present equally is what they are working toward. There's a few reasons to use Firefox rather than IE anyway: (From Mozilla site) -
