On our bed, we just have the top sheet and a comforter. Grab ahold of both and just flip it up by the pillows...voila! Bed is made. Takes about five seconds of our day. Eric

In Texas, they have gun racks in the ride stations, too! You have to put your Colt .45s somewhere while you ride! Eric

I guess I'm strange because when someone pisses me off on the phone, I just hang up and go do something else. Eric

I feel so sorry for you young 'uns who didn't get to ride Revolution as it was originally designed. Many, many times I rode it in 1976 and it was my favorite coaster for a long, long time. Even as late as 1989 before it got the weird seats (for those of you who remember those), it was still quite a kick to ride. Even with its modifications, Revolution still has a great layout. Its approach to the loop is the best, in my opinion, and I like how the loop isn't the first part of the ride. You actually build up to it with a couple of good drops and curves. It'll never happen, but it would be nice if somehow, some way, there could be a way to remove the OTSRs and restore a wonderful ride to its former glory. Eric

I always liked the 1972 version of Popcorn. They played that on the radio all the time. Eric

A Flying Scooters would be perfect for SFMM. Well, that and some other flat rides. Doesn't PGA have something like this? I'd really like to try it. Eric

Stand up coasters...any good?
ebl replied to MARK's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If you want to avoid "crotch crunching," just adjust the seat lower. A side benefit is that you can sit if you want to. I've seen people do it. Eric -
I took a walk tonight in the light rain. My wife even drove past me while on the way home from the store and didn't stop. So, I should go to the air show at Edwards AFB tomorrow. Eric

I've ridden ShockWave at SFMM (now Batman---The Scrapped at SFAW); Vortex at PGA; and Riddler's Revenge at SFMM. I've always liked the standup concept. The best "seat" is the front IMO. Even after almost eight years, Riddler's is still an enjoyable ride with (for me at least) little headbanging. Want to avoid crotch crunching? Just adjust the seat down a bit. That'll also give you some room to sit if you need to. The downside to these is a very slow loading time. Well, at least at SFMM. Eric -
Would you rather go to a smaller park?

I went to Wonderland in Amarillo, TX, back in May. Not as much to do as at the larger chain parks, but it's more relaxing to walk around in a much slower setting. Eric
