  1. I don't count my theme park visits, but I'm very sure that I've been to SFMM the most times. One notable thing is that I've visited that park at least once in each and every year it's been open, starting in 1971. Eric
  2. Nice to see you, Allen. We did get to meet once, and I think it was on the media day for X and the whole Xtreme Park thing back in December 2000. Eric
  3. ^ It was normal during the Ice Age. ^^ Dollars? What were those? We bought stuff with sabre tooth tiger claws and shells. There were no buses, either. You can't have those without wheels. Eric
  4. ^ 6 years old? That's about like driving a 1982 Dodge Aries K. Eric
  5. "And wherever you walked, it was uphill both ways, right? And you couldn't afford shoes?" And it was always snowing, too. As for shoes, WTF were those?!?! Eric
  6. ^ It may be Saturday where YOU are, but not yet here. Right now it's 12:15pm on Friday. Eric
  7. ^^ We didn't have candles because fire hadn't been discovered yet. And at that time, raptors were little things we kept as pets. And we had to walk everywhere, as there were no wheels. Eric
  8. Sadly, a day at an amusement park can be quite expensive for the average family. I know a bunch of families that just don't go very often anymore because of that. When you have little extra cash, you start cutting out things like this. Eric
  9. Altoids Sugar-Free Peppermint. Good stuff! Eric
  10. We have had our eMachine for 2-1/2 years and have yet to have a problem with it. We got it at Costco. I believe that Gateway acquired eMachines (at least Consumer Reports says that). We have Dells at work and have had no problems with them, either. Eric
  11. Those were nice shots, but you should have waited till that Toyota Sienna went by. Eric
  12. ^^ Then I win because I have a whole one and a half one in my house! While we're at it, let's build a fence. I'll bring the kettle corn... Eric
  13. Well, OK, I'm just making an assumption based on what I've been told about a hundred-eleventy-twelve times. But if Vekoma in fact did not have anything to do with Space Mountain, I'll accept it. Eric
  14. X at SFMM makes me nervous. When I was being locked into the car for my first ride, the attendant asked if I was OK. I must have gone pale. Now I'm still nervous on X because I don't know if the darned thing is going to hold together! Eric
  15. ^ You have Japanese people in Indiana? Eric
  16. I've ridden both sides of WDW's Space Mountain (they are pretty much mirror images of each other) and found it to be quite enjoyable. Compared to Disneyland's, one advantage is that you sit in line, Matterhorn style, but up on a seat with a lap bar. Also, the course has a better mix of both left- and right-hand turns, and there's a good helix in the middle. Eric
  17. How about Bell's Amusement Park! Eric
  18. I haven't been very many places, but I'm very happy right here in Ventura County where I live. Eric
  19. Usually you have to get people drunk. I think we need to get zaneymon undrunk! Eric
  20. ^ Oh, I'd like to see that Disneyland Space Mountain POV. Is that in a format that you can share? Eric
  21. ^^ Y'know, I'm scared to ask about that... Eric
  22. I hope they do the Xtreme Play Pass again this year. To me, it was $125 well spent. Eric
  23. Those same brakes were on the old Space Mountain, which Vekoma did build. I find it strange, however, that the new Space Mountain didn't go with some kind of magnetic braking system like so many other rides have. Eric
  24. ^ Animal lover. < Animal liker. V Animal...um, let's not go there!
  25. I have a scratch on my left eyelid. It doesn't hurt or itch, but it looks nasty. And, no, I won't post a picture, either. Just use your imagination. Eric
