Restraints Pushing down
ebl replied to Thrillrider15's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This happens to me on Goliath at SFMM all the time. No problem with it, though. Eric -
I went there only once for their "Scream Park" Halloween makeover (October 1995). Lightning Bolt was still indoors at that time and I rode it once. Too bad I never went back to ride it once it was moved outside. Eric

I got to see my brother-in-law tonight for the first time in 2-1/2 years. We had a nice chat, and, even better, he and his family have moved back to California after being in Georgia since 1997. Eric

The MOST addicting games on the planet
ebl replied to BlackHole2005's topic in Random, Random, Random
Back in 1994, I bought a pack of 3.5-inch floppies, and there was a bonus disk with a Microsoft Entertainment pack on it. Jezzball was one of four games, and the only one that I really had any desire to play. 12 years later, I still play it. Eric -

Sorry about your brother's problems, CommanderLock. I have an autistic nephew (age 11), and I've seen some of the tantrums he's thrown. The sad thing is that people with autism really can't control most of their actions. It's all part of the condition, and it is tough to deal with it. My sister is going at it alone, since the sperm donor (I can't say "father" in this case because it's too nice a term and undeserved) has pretty much taken off. Anyway, my rant: E-mail with guilt attached. You've all seen 'em. You read a nice, touching story, then at the bottom it says that "if you love Jesus, then you'll forward it to X number of people; or you can delete it if you're ashamed of the Lord." Give me a break. Eric

Photo TR : La Ronde or Six flags Montreal

Cobra...clone of SFMM's old ShockWave! Yeah, I guess a 20-year-old ride would be kinda rough by now. And, yes, a bunch of employees staring at a dumpster tipped over was pretty funny. "Let's see...um...leave it there...or...pick it up." Not exactly a brain buster. Eric -
CALIFORNIA PHOTO TR, SCBB and the Strawberry Festival

I was going to take my daughter up north to Santa Cruz and the Winchester Mystery House, but the summer got away from us. I suppose we can still go, as the Mystery House is open all year and I think the Boardwalk is open on weekends. Nice TR by the way. It's cool when the young 'uns start walking! Eric -
I'm about 40 minutes from SFMM, and an hour and a half (more or less) from Disneyland and Knott's. This is where I grew up and I ain't going anywhere. Eric

Theme Park Review's Summer Party! ROLL CALL!

^ Thanks for the kind words, but I actually do like to cook. It's just nice to whip out some good pre-made food and have dinner ready in about five minutes. And yes, dads own! Eric -
Yes, certain ones. Would you like to have my diabetes?

I've been listening to Chicago since the early '70s. They're not quite the same, but I still enjoy their music. Back in '89, they did a show with the Beach Boys at the Hollywood Bowl. That was a great show. Eric

^ Nice hanging out with you, John, even if just for a little while. The party was fun, with good food as always. Looks like you guys had a great time in England/Sweden/Wales. I would have liked to have gone on that trip, but maybe I'll make it to Japan next year. After the party, I stood and yakked with Chris (NavyAirframer), Evan (What Now), and John (Jhcbiinoc) for awhile. I got home about 1:30 and hit the hay. A nice, long day. Eric -

"Staying at the Monte Carlo meant we were close to Manhattan Express!!" (ParkTrips) You say that like it's a good thing... But, nice TR. I was in Las Vegas in March and stopped by that Hooter's. Good times... Eric -

ebl replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Great party as always. Thanks, too, for the DVD and the food (my dinner for a few nights while the girls are away!). Nice to see many of the TPR regulars, too. Eric -
As long as traffic lights keep changing, you'll be fine. Should I have another Diet Coke?
