  1. I got a Motorola Droid 2 yesterday. My very first smartphone...now I'll have to see what I can do with it. Eric
  2. It was all clouded over here, but I would have missed it anyway because I forgot all about it. Eric
  3. ^^ Diana got a Droid 2 last weekend to replace her Blackberry Storm, and I got a Droid 2 yesterday (Verizon had a buy one, get one free deal). Today I had jury duty and they didn't even call a single panel. So I'm done for another year. Eric
  4. Leopard skin bikinis---made out of real leopard skin! Why don't buses have their fare boxes on the outside of the bus?
  5. Personally, the mere cost of a dollar to secure your stuff during a ride (or two if the line is short) is pretty cheap peace of mind. Imagine how much you'd spend to replace a car key, cell phone, etc. Anything I won't need inside the park stays locked in my car. If making people put all of their junk into a pay-per-use space, it will speed up dispatch times, meaning that you'll get more rides during the day. Eric
  6. ^ That happened to me, too. I just changed my password and went on my merry way. Unfortunately, that's all you can do. The same thing happened with my e-mail account. They should deal with spammers the same way they used to deal with horse thieves... Eric
  7. Yes. Note, you guys do know that this is the "Yes or No Game," right? Do you recycle?
  8. Do they even let small boys in tights run around the park? Not very family friendly I must say. I'd better get out there and renew my pass while I have some cash. Thank goodness for the casino parties I've worked this month... Eric
  9. Quick question for L.A. Kings fans---would you consider seats in Section 114 at Staples Center to be good seats? I've never been and I have a chance to pick up two seats there for a game next month. This will be a Christmas gift for a rabid hockey fan. Eric
  10. Yes. Do you like French fries with the peeling still on?
  11. To be honest, I'm very happy with the Chrome browser, but unfortunately, sometimes I need to purchase something or get information, and the site I'm on says that I need to use Internet Explorer 6.0 or above. We have Firefox at home and that's not a bad browser, but I find it slower than Chrome and it, too, is not supported by a number of sites. Eric
  12. The bleu cheese/feta cheeseburger that I made myself for dinner tonight. Good stuff. Eric
  13. ^^ I did---and it's still on the palm tree as I speak. Of course, it was the Jell-O box, but that's splitting hairs... Eric
  14. ^ You're going to iSmack your iMac, eh? Minor rant: the pronunciation of "theater" as "Thee-AY-ter." I've just never gotten that. Eric
  15. I enjoy it more myself, but that doesn't mean it's better. But for the sake of the question, YES! Do you have a season/annual pass to any parks?
  16. ^^ Good timing on your arrival. You should be one of the first to experience Apocalypse Salvation---The Ride if it opens on schedule. Of note, you could purchase tickets online for $34.95 (regular price is $59.99). Eric
  17. One other unusual Six Flags project---Six Flags Power Plant in Baltimore, I believe. Does anyone have anything from that? Eric
  18. @ jray21, yep, Pistachio Park. That's the name. And I'll bet there ain't a pistachio anywhere near there. Honestly, though, it's nice to have somewhere to sit. I've noticed that there aren't really that many benches at SFMM---and they can sure use more, that is, unless they like people sitting on curbs and railings... Eric
  19. I would guess that by then, construction would likely be started. Even ground clearing. Neither Green Lantern nor Little Flash should take long to go up. Of course, in Little Flash's case, Sierra Falls needs to come down first. On another note, the old Sierra Twist space has become a little park. When I was there last Sunday I walked past it and noticed a sign, but for the life of me, I can't remember what they've called it. Eric
  20. ^ Generally the entire month of April. I'll have to miss the SFMM part of WCB 2011 because of a family wedding, but I hope to do the Knott's part. Eric
  21. "Also SFMM should have let Eric rename Terminator." (cooksta77) Actually, that would be unsmart. They'd end up with the most WTF ride name ever. Eric
  22. We have Diana standing out on the porch dressed as an elf. No, not yet. It isn't December 20 yet. Have you ever served on a jury?
  23. The Google Maps satellite image still shows Psyclone, as well as Tatsu under construction, so, yeah, it's a bit outdated. Remember, too, that SFMM isn't open during the week, so all work on Termalypse will be done during that time. It is possible, though, for the ride to be closed one weekend, though. It was running nicely today, and TPR's own William (wrs28330) was working in the station assigning rows and offered me the row of my choice (I took Row 11---the very back). And despite the weather, the fire on both X2 and Apocanator was working. Eric
  24. Acronym decodation: iirc = If I recall dillgas = Does it look like I give a sh*t? HTH = Hope that helps. Anyway, I'm at SFMM right now and will be heading out soon. It wasn't super busy today (Termalypse/Apocanator) had about a 20-minute wait, X2 was about 30 if that gives any idea. The Superman tower looks really nice with all three colors on it now. And, yes, the weather was great today---almost like summer. Eric
  25. ^ And so much comedy. But LOLBT at BeemerBoy. (¿Que es "LOLBT?" Laughing Out Loud Big Time.) Eric
