  1. After this season I have now ridden (Best to Worst): 1. Sidewinder at Elitch Gardens...Seriously an awesome ride! Four nice pops of air and a cool backwards launch too! 2. Kingda Ka....In the first car Kingda Ka is amazing. Further back, eh not so much. 3. Half Pipe at Elitch Gardens...Even though there wasn't much of a launch it was still a blast. 4. Jokers Jinx....Really slow, but still smooth and fun. 5. Rock N Rollercaoster....I don't remember too much about the ride, except being thrown around a lot. 6. Wicked at Lagoon...While it was fun, it was far too short and very choppy/shaky. The lap bars were also pretty uncomfortable.
  2. Great Adventure....November Third. They are opening the park only for season pass processing, as last night the wait times were well over two hours to get processed.
  3. Goliath (SFNE)- I loved the ride...I didn't feel any roughness. Rolling Thunder- Yes its a little rough, but it's still a blast to race with friends on both sides. Boomerang (Elitch)- I really had fun on the Boomerang. I was riding front row, so I didn't notice any roughness. Plus, a one train wait helped.
  4. Bombora's lift has a pretty cool screech to it, even before the train gets onto it. The dispatch horn for Bombora is really cool too!
  5. I think I'm done for the season.... -SF Great Adventure -SF New England -Elitch Gardens -Lagoon and Lagoon-a-Beach (Utah) -Morey's Piers...But with no rides. -Gillian's Wonderland Pier in Ocean City NJ Best New Credits: -Goliath SFNE -Bizarro SFNE -Colossus at Lagoon -Sidewinder at Elitch Gardens Most pathetic new credit of the season: Road Runner Railway at Great Adventure.
  6. Kingda Ka was running two trains today...But with a one-two train wait for any row except first, it didn't really matter. Also, Kingda Ka's fourth train that was in pieces by the left station, has been mostly rebuilt out on the transfer track. It looks to be only lacking the shell.
  7. Wow those Ocean Park rides have awesome views!
  8. SLC-Terrible Boomerang- Surprisingly smooth. No headbanging for me in the front car. Twister 2- Wasn't really rough, but it also didn't really do too much. Be sure to brace for the brakes at the end...They apply hard.
  9. El Toro is back to two trains. Operations around the park were awesome yesterday with no stacking on El Toro, Nitro, or Runaway Mine Train. Even Green Lantern, Kingda Ka, and Bizarro's were much faster then normal. Oh, and I finally got my Road Runner Railway credit....Definitely felt sad and pathetic.
  10. Sad, but Road Runner Railway, at great Adventure today.
  11. You definitely can't ride everything, sorry to say. Even Sunday's during fright fest are insane. Last year I got there at opening and there was already hour long lines. By three, El Toro's was almost to Bizarro, and Kingda Ka's was all the way to the Twister. I also learned from experience never leave anything in your car during fright fest. Mine, along with many others were broken into that night.
  12. Found this awesome video of the Beast on youtube today.
  13. 7/10 I don't get it, but it's kinda cool.
  14. ^^Wicked is an interesting ride, although not that great. The restraints are terrible, during the launch and tower they tighten to an uncomfortable level. The track is pretty rough and choppy, and it doesn't really do all that much. Now if they were to fix the restraints so they can't lower during the ride and create a longer layout, I think that ride would be great.
  15. I didn't find Cyclone to be rough at all, and when I rode the trims were completely off. The one thing on that ride that hurt were the final brakes. I hated how you slam to a complete stop. The Cyclone is a classic and I would rather keep it that way then give it the Iron Horse renovation.
  16. ^I'm going to drive three hours south to Six Flags America to get mine....Hopefully before June.
  17. ^Sunday, Bizarro was running three trains but only single stacking. They were consistently sending trains while the previous one was clearing the last corkscrew. Also, none of the staff care about line jumping. I'm usually relaxed about it but when a group of 8 cut me in front of a security guard....I got very angry.
  18. I have noticed employees have been getting worse as the season goes on. Just last Sunday, the Kingda Ka operator went through the locked, checked, visual scan speech without noticing there was still an employee checking restraints. The flash pass attendants on El Toro and Kingda Ka were also letting the stations get almost empty then letting people in all the way to their stand. Aren't they supposed to keep a short wait outside of the station? As for Bizarro, operations, they are varied. Some days they're downright terrible. I've had days where I waited longer on the brakes then to get onto the ride. Other days, they have the train ready to dispatch as the previous one is clearing the cobra roll. Four attendants are really needed for that ride.
  19. No Do you have an oovoo?
  20. I've been on: -Batwing. I loved Batwing but it wasn't the most comfortable coaster. -Batman: The Ride (GADv). Batmans such a smooth, fun, and intense ride. -Batman: TDK (GADv). My favorite wild mouse. -Batman:TDK (SFNE). This Batman failed to impress me. It was short and I got a good amount of head banging in the corkscrews. My vote goes to Batman: The Ride for the reasons said above.
  21. Yesterday, as I was going through the safari I saw some people climbing Kingda Ka. Is this common? The ride opened as soon as they finished. Is this common?
  22. Six Flags Great Adventure Six Flags new England Gillian's Wonderland Pier Lagoon Amusement Park Lagoon-a-Beach Elitch Gardens I'm hoping to get to Dorney and Clementon too.
