  1. That's awesome news. I didn't think we would see this ride ever be rebuilt.
  2. I just got an email from Six Flags telling me that tomorrow, May 4th, is coasters after dark. The park will be open to season pass holders only from 6-9pm. All the major coasters look too be operating. I'm going. Who else will be there?
  3. Nitro's drop is great in the back row. You get flung over the top of the hill and have airtime all the way down. Its just slightly above average in every other row though. But, nothing beats El Toro's drop.
  4. Does Rolling Thunder ever give any airtime? Just wondering, as I'd be surprised. The left side gives a lot of floater airtime as long as you're not in a wheel seat.
  5. Hey Guys! I had a very interesting day today at Great Adventure! We entered the park right as they were letting people to the rides. We got one of the first on Nitro, in the front row. We then switched to the back row, where we got two more rides without getting off. The ride ops were great. Third train was back, and in service. The line moved much faster with all three Then, we went over to Batman. Both trains were running, but the ride was stacking horribly. Maybe it was the lack of riders, but they sure were slow. Skull Mountain was next. The ops were great and were running to check the restraints. Awesome job. The room was also pitch black, which is much different from last year. Both trains were running. Where did the third train go? Next, we walked across the park and got a ride on Bizarro. Front row of course! There was no wait as they were running all three trains. The audio was working, but it only worked on one side of me. Kingda Ka was next. We got a ride in the middle of the train. The line was incredibly short. Maybe 15 minutes. The orange train was INCREDIBLY rough, almost painful. Afterwards, we went back and rode again, except this time in the blue train which was much smoother. Kingda Ka was running all day without problems. (15 minutes for each ride) Next, was Rolling Thunder. Both sides were running, but there was only one train on the left side. Operations were painfully slow. Also, the ride was in major need of a refurbishment. The blue train was missing multiple side covers and the ride just looked bad. The paint was peeling and fading. I rode on the right side. As we were about 3/4 of the way up the lift, the train stopped. After about a minute it started back up again. The ride was a little rattly and bumpy, but not too bad. I didn't get any airtime ;( (20 minute wait for 4 trains to dispatch) Bizarro again? Of course! I rode Bizarro in the back and it was great. The ops were double stacking every single time. (15 minutes) The park was getting crowded for the concert tonight, so we decided to head out. (Around 2) On a side note: Green Lantern still has only two trains, but operations seemed to be much better than last time. They rarely stacked them. Superman and El Toro were both running two trains and were stacking terribly. Ride Count: 10 in 3 hours Nitro: 3 Batman: TR:1 Skull:1 Bizarro:2 Kingda Ka:2 Rolling Thunder:1
  6. I am leaving for Great Adventure in 45 minutes.
  7. OK. That doesn't sound too bad. I've had the same experience this season. Before lunch I got 5 rides in, all walk on, then after lunch I was faced with large lines. I think Great Adventure could really use a display by the ride entrance with a real estimate of how long the lines are going to be. It's really hard to tell especially on Skull Mountain and Batman as their lines are mostly indoors. Superman could also use that too.
  8. Nope. Have you ever wanted to be a stunt actor?
  9. I will be at Great Adventure tomorrow morning for a few hours. Maybe opening to one. I hope to get in a ton of rides like I did a few weeks ago. How crowded do you think the park will be?

  11. Steel: Bizarro at Great Adventure. I just love the inversions, speed, and on board audio. Wood: El Toro. Awesome woodie at an awesome park.
  12. On Roar at America my lap bar released as we were going up the lift hill. That was before I knew about forces and that I wouldn't fly out, so I was scared for my life. On top of that, the rides incredibly rough and felt like the train would derail at any second. Also, on the same day it started to thunder and lightning while I was going up the Wild Ones lift. It was absolutely terrifying.
  13. I like to take pictures if the queue has views of the ride. Also, I talk to my friends and sometimes the people in front or behind me. It makes the line go a lot faster.
  14. Thank you! This park took me forever to build. And, each coaster was rebuilt at least two times, because I thought they were too short.
  15. Hey guy! I decided to make a new park like Holiday World (But still very different) on RCT3. It features 7 roller coasters, 5 of which are wood. There's also a nice collection of flat rides. Viper: CCI Masterpiece. Only around 60 feet tall but gives tons of airtime. A big crowd pleaser. Jersey Devil: My Lost coaster type ride. It's a CCI with three lifts and a curvy, windy layout. Mega Zeph: CCI hybrid. Tons of airtime, but I think that it's a little too short. Jetline: GG airtime machine. New Jersey Rattler: Compact coaster by Miler similar to Viking Voyage at Wild Adventures. All 6 trains can be ran at once. Anaconda: The massive white coaster. Airtime galore. The Wild One: Hopkins 3 inversion coaster POV'S Coming Soon Opening Day Pictures: Shot0009.bmp Vipers turn over the lake Shot0010.bmp The Wild One's loops! Shot0011.bmp The go carts look like a blast! Shot0012.bmp New Jersey Rattler. 6 trains can run at once, but today only 2 were running. 16. 1,000 for the first ride?!?!?!? Absolutely crazy.
  17. Great pictures! Thanks for posting.
  18. I was browsing RCDB and I found a new coaster by the Beijing jiuhua amusement rides manufacturing company going into Langzhong Panda Paradis. It's listed as a motor launch coaster opening June first. It goes 0-50 in 2.8 seconds. Has anyone heard of this ride? I would be scared to ride this coaster with that Chinese quality. 19. The Green Lantern at Great Adventure....What a rough ride.
  20. From TPR's Two Face video Each side? It's only one track! Nope, not this actual ride.
  21. ^ The day was pretty good. But did you see park maps stuck in the sticky stuff? There was two or three in it yesterday. Also, does anyone know then the third trains will be ready?
