I'm going so expect a recording and photos of the announcement. Awesome. I keep hoping HP's going to webcast it for those of us on the western side of the USA... -

That might be the DIRTIEST picture I've ever seen before... totally obscene. i'm loving this TR- the simplicity of it, the loads of great wooden coasters, the random bald guy in some of the photos... Ahem. I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune with the Idle Wild Mouse not being available- it's a hoot! Especially the trick-track lifthill! Wonderful job, though! -

grabs a bottle of tequila, gin and rum. It's going to be a Loooooooong week. Once again: RIT, LMB, OCPD, CTP, and AFW are all spelled out for you in Donan's notes. How you choose to read them is your own business. the answers are S-P-E-L-L-E-D out for you. Right there. In Black and White. In PDF and Word formula. If I were to give you the answers, wouldn't that ruin the fun of the game??? -
OK- one should mute the dialogue- as it's the DUMBEST thing I've heard in a park in a while. And then the dipshit gets on his cellphone? I'm pretty sure a lawsuit will be forthcoming for millions over "the trauma' that was induced by a roll-back into the loop, and how the little girl will never live a normal life, and on and on and on." Humans. I sure wish they'd go back to their own planet.

Read the CTP letter with the questions, and the CTP recruiting letter. it's all right in front of your eyes. I mean that. Any closer, and I'd be able to read it here in Arizona! -

OK: In extended effort of fairness here... You really should have been paying attention to the whole viral campaign when it started. However, I will 'recap' the whole shebang from the beginning. Remember the flashing banner on TPR about six months bacK or so? THe one with the four digit code? That was the first part of it. it introduced us to RIT : The Ride Instittue of Technology where we met the first batch of characters- and unique clues from the four research studies along the way. These included further codes in each that revealed letters, combinations and additional websites with more information along the way- including elements you need to know for the different questions of the report. Later on, a few of us were selected to participate further in the event (Electronic Reporters, if you will, I was happily selected to be #8) Along with that came the imfamous 4th study: This was where we had a puzzle to put together that has (in a way) spelled out the new coaster that we're now seeing come together. Shortly after the fourth study was opened, we were exposed to a second site The LaMarcus Brothers Mid Air Excavation site where we got to learn about mid-air excavation- and, later on, were introduced to the idea that Ride Institute was working with LMB to 'excavate' the air over the Comet... for what we didn't know Not long after that, if you joined the mailing list, some lucky people were sent t-shirts, magnets, and even HP tickets for signing onto it- this was a great gift, I think, of this viral marketing campaign (For those going to DSB, you will see me with mine on!) At the same time, we started to see more social media elements being tied in: Facebook, Twitter to name a few. Moving forward, we began to see some tremendous changes along the way- including elements from a third company, O'Connell Pluming and Drain Deisgn which brought us the elements that something would soon be removed to make space in the park for the new attraction- it too, led to more elements, including a voicemail from OCPD. we now await the final information about the gane with less than one week left in it. Since then we've been introduced to yet another two websites- CTpilots and Awesomefunworld which tie into the very beginning of of this. -

You're right- I did forget that last page. Grrrr... I should have renumbered everything when I got it! My apologies to all on this- I'd call it a senior moment, but I'm not that old; let's call it a middle aged moment. -
What area really needs a theme park?
QueerRudie replied to let1gre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
North of here (Along the 10 towards Flagstaff) is some of the most inhospitable land in the country- as in: Nothing short of nowhere- and a looooong distance between. Anthem (North of Carefree) is the last major outpost for about 60 miles- and that's to Cave creek. Sadly, it's not an area ripe for growth. To the west is the White tank National Forest, and the White tank mountins- which in itself isn't a usable spot- and beyond that is Buckeye- who'd want to build a park next to the USA's largest nuclear reactors??? To the south we have Maricopa, and there would be space there; but who'd want to drive through I10/I17 traffic to get there??? To the east, well, it's almost all reservation land and mountains...nuff said. I'd say we're in the top 10 for getting a park here- but the question of when and where is still wide open; behind Houston, we're the second largest population base without a major theme park... -

What area really needs a theme park?
QueerRudie replied to let1gre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I live in the West valley- so I know your pain: I consider KBF, DL and SFMM my 'home' parks- as they're the closest one TO the valley... That having been said, Phoenix has two huge things going against it- which makes it difficult: 1.) You're standing in it (The heat that's six months long, and the almost-neverending sun) 2.) Year round schooling (Some school districts here are already back in class today) A good idea for here would be to put an enclosed park in, and make it truly year-round all over. To do that would require MegaBuck$ that the valley can't really provide for now. It would, for expansion purposes, have to be on enough land to expand to a much larger size over time- which in itself would be a challenge. I know with the recent growth of the WestGate area in Avondale, and the new casino going in during 2012, there's a real possibliity that a good entrepeneur could consider doing something along those scales- but sadly, unless it's well planned out for now we're stuck with Castles and Coasters... -

Go back about 60 pages in this thread, and then follow each of the websites along the way... you'll soon realize that LaMarcus Bros is a huge part of this puzzle... Hell, I've got a T-shirt and a Magnet from LaMarcus Bros- good people to work with. -
Agreed- I think rotating the contest away from Tuesday might be a good step- I know how busy I am that day (It's one of my two 'office' days) and I tend to put it aside in my mind. Rotating the prizes might also help- perhaps even keeping it a surprise (This week's winner will get... Find out on Friday! and then drop them a shirt or something.) Also; the idea of having a two week lead-time works for me; perhaps we can rotate more NL stuff into the mix- and stop the incessent bitching that a week isn't enough for them. BTW: CPM liked the attention that the 50 point blowout did- If I counted correctly, we had a surge over the entire week in additional traffic.

If I were being tongue-in-cheek over this, I'd say this: A two-day headache and endless drama over things REALLY unrelated to the HP2012 FB page about lady (F'ing) gaga (PEOPLE, get OVER her, the only thing she is good for is converting OXYGEN into CARBON DIOXIDE!) and bizarre ruminations on Gillette shaving products ("Wow- it's got a nickname called "Ride the Edge"- it must be sponsored by Edge Razors!") However, if we pull out some of the data, there's a survey that needs to be taken, pictures that need to be divested, and questions to be answered. At the end, you will have to send in something to another person mentioned in the same set of documents- but if I have to do it, so should EVERYONE... If you've been paying attention to the game, it should be easy- if you've been jumping on the end, that's going to make it more difficult all over- as there's some stuff that you've had to be paying attention to all the way in order to get.... Good luck- and happy searching. The Truth is OUT THERE. -

Here's the image that I found the other day: And here's the documents themselves- I recieved a copy of them after I went to bed last night. Walter White sent me a set of the 10 documents- as you can see below. Each one is unique- but there is a MAJOR hint inside them. It took me about three hours to figure it out- good luck from there. Sunday Update time: After the five sites were opened, things were looked at again- and some interesting messages began to pop out of the text- including different codes written in Dutch that translated into a short message about the ride itself. 1) The key to one hell of a ride is to take charge and 2) A key change to one hell of a ride (which may have additional implications). as possible translations from Dutch (Credit for both of those go to Tom Grady and Michelle Serviss) Also, last night Donan Michael (From the last HP viral campaign- he now is part of Coaster Test Pilots...) was headed somewhere after a day at HersheyPark... and left something behind- letting the world know via FB. Walter White has found the binders- and we're awaiting more information to figure out what's in there. It's 8 days till rollout- exepct the clues to come faster, and certainly more puzzling this week... -
