  1. In lieu of being able to rate the track: Four Stars (4.0 out of 5.0)- Nice work.
  2. No- the Comet is staying... but the platform might be getting a touch of cosmetic surgery...
  3. That's coming up in Monday's e-mail blast- along with the voting for the TPR Challenge- It slipped my mind, but shall be resolved!
  4. I guess I may stand out in this thread for not having issues with blackouts/greyouts on coasters- and I tend to lean towards the more G-extreme coasters in my 'favorites' bucket (Thus the long and illustrious list of His great works- Anton's rides figure into most of my top 50.) Every person will feel Gs differently; some are more G friendly than others- I have seen people blackout on something simple like ShockWave at SFOT or Mindbender at SFOG, but not on something like Thriller/Taz/Zonga/whateveritscalledinMexico. Your body is the only thing that determines your ability to handle PosG goodness. As was mentoned before: There are things one should always remember about this: Hydrate, Rest and breathe, and you'll be fine. (Mind you, the only time I've ever greyed' out on a ride was on WEM's Mindbender- and that was after ride #19 without a hreak.)
  5. Wow- I'm not even an airtime fan and Wooden Warrior looks -out freakin' standing- all over. That thing is -crazy- with awesomensss all over- and in EVERY way possible. And I do belive this segment of the NE tour has the requisite Domo quantities in it.
  6. From everything eluded to in the HP2012 project campaign, it should max out at 5500 feet of track length and 212 feet tall. Of course, in 48 hours, we will have the answer to all these questions... in theory!
  7. Psi- that's sort of what I'm thinking- I've passed word onto the Powers that Be for that- Thanks!
  8. Another incredible update Hanno- and I have to say the pics of Fuji-Queue's new Eurofighter do look stunning; sadly, it will have a whopping 16 person per hour capacity once the car is actually loaded... I'm also glad Mother Nature did her best to make Japan's version of SixFlags America actually LOOK right, too!
  9. Matt Rydzik provided these pics from his own research into the ride- and they're used with permission!
  10. That is correct- use your name as it is spelled on your account, and the password is the same. If you are still having an issue, I'll pass the info onto the right people to fix it- PM me if you still have problems. R.D. Games Forum Moderating Team
  11. Sadly, in this lawsuit happy nation of ours, there's one motive behind every lawyer- and that's M-A-K-I-N-G M-O-N-E-Y. There is a saying out there; "Money may not buy happiness, but it sure does clear up a lot of the hurdles along the way." People tend to lose their sight of the loved ones when the thought of millions of dollars is placed in front of their eyes- and there's plenty of ambulance chasers to ensure there is a pile of money waiting for them at the end of the rainbow. "Sure, you lost your loved (husband, brother, sister, second cousin twice removed related by your great Aunt Peony), but think of it this way: We can be sure that a (park, airline, car company, Mcdonalds) pays out to ensure their memory is never forgotten!" And in the eyes of the lawyers, they call these people 'Marks'
  12. DITTO. With airfares that tumbled past labour day, it's less than 200 for me to go from PHX to ATL- WELL worth the trip time!
  13. Oh goodie. Another needless lawsuit... Gee, I can smell the OTSRs now coming to RoS. Nothing (And I do mean -nothing-) pisses me off more than meaningless lawsuits, especially by ambulance chasing lawyers. Some worm crawled into the family's residence, and rotted away whatever common sense was left- and let the greed take over. Personally, and this is no offence to his family intended, I do hope they find the suicide note.
  14. Think of it this way... One word at a time is still much faster than 12 months of puzzles, clues, cryptic messages, odd statements, bizarre pictures, missing letters, wild goose chases, park hunts, five websites and still no real answer... Besides, you'll find out ONE DAY SOONER.
  15. Just a thought here... Demon, as beloved as it is, is aging- and while the ride still has it's cheesy 70s charm to it... the mention in the FB campaign is this: Red White and Blue... Could we be seeing the return of the Turn Of The Century? Or a repaint into those Colours? (I could wish for something magnificent like the removal of the loops, and the re-insertion of the airtime hills, but the odds of that happening are pretty low- as in zero.)
  16. Why would you lock the thread when there's no trouble? As the answers I was looking for were given to me; I don't think (at least in my opinion) that any more discussion is really necessary. I was very happy to read from the admins and other members of the board, and I found out the answers I was seeking. That was the only real purpose of the thread: For people to provide me with some answers to some questions that have been floating around for a while- and I'm very happy people were able to respond in a mature fashion- and now that it's run it's course, I don't think it's necessary anymore. I hope this explains things out some- R.D.
  17. No pictures, no content: No thread. Please remember to read the RULES for posting for the Games forum! R.D. Games Forum Moderating Team
  18. You raise a valid point- Please read back through the entire thread as well- as there are some very interesting thoughts towards this point as well. I'm going to lock the thread on Monday- as I think I've read (and have received some very good feedback about this subject)- I appreciate everyone being serious about the ideas here, and that I've not had to edit anyone's posts! R.D.
  19. TPR Track of the week contest! This week we're starting things a bit differently- From now on, the TPR Track of the week will start on Fridays- and will run till Thursday at midnight! The reason? To make it easier for everybody to see your great works with tracks and ride building! So- To roll out the new arrangement, We've got something really special planned here: Today's winner will get: A TPR Bag of Crap- AND- a free TPR DVD Download! This weeks's Game: RCT II This weeks' Track: Schwarzkopf Looping Coaster- TWO LOOPS ONLY! Good luck- and post up your new tracks when you've got them in- and remember: VOTE ON the TRACKS! The earlier you upload, the better chance for a win!
  20. For the last few pages, you seem to let on that you already know exactly what is coming?? Care to spill some beans???? ewwwwwwww... I hate beans. Ick. (And no, I know as much as anyone else does... to a degree.)
  21. I tend to not use the manufacturers' in terms of height: The way I break it down is like this: Mega: 0-199 feet Hyper: 200-299 feet Giga: 300-399 feet Tera: 400-499 feet Penta: 500+ feet Thus where I came up with the 'hybrid' name: Hyper-Lite: It's over 200ft, it's got the cable-lift system. Just my 'guess' on the ride's class- nothing official.
  22. The video of Crossbow is impressive- and it's great to see the Verbolten 'prototype' lives up to it's visual appeal...
  23. I've created my own hybrid term for these coasters: A cable lift and over 200ft? Sounds like a Hyper-Lite to me. It's a better term, it says what it is, and it's going to kick some serious ass next May. Who needs a term when it's going to be F'ing awesome????
  24. PIZZA PORN! PIZZA PORN! PIZZA PORN! I'm drooling here- and I'm on a diet which means no Pizza. I can throw that out in the morning...
