  1. ^ and ^^: It would most likely not have real designs from real parks unless the initial game gained traction and licensing agreements were made with different parks.
  2. Hey guys, I am an iPhone/iPad developer, and I wanted to scope out the interest for an iPhone/iPad game similar to RTC, since there is no way to play RTC or something similar on iPhone/iPad. Would you guys play something like that? Would you buy it if it wasn't too expensive? Or would you only play a free version with ads? Let me know your thoughts!
  3. ^I always thought that there was something mechanical involved, I've been on without the sound working correctly and I swear I could hear them moving around... But maybe that's just me.
  4. I just wanted to suggest running to Green Lantern first over X2 or Tatsu if it's not a very crowded day. You'll be able to get a bunch of rides in on Green Lantern before the line even gets down the stairs, while it's pretty much a one-and-done on X2 (I'm not too sure about Tatsu, but it's probably also crowded early on), and you can hit up X2 or Tatsu around 4 or 5PM, which I've noticed is the "sweet spot," as far as being the shortest wait throughout the day, besides right when the park opens.
  5. Hey guys, I've only been here on TPR since November, but I'm loving it so far! I may only be 16 years old, but I am an iPhone developer and just finished my 3rd app, and thought I might share it with you guys here! It's a free app called SweetMeter, and with it, you input daily events as "Sweet Things" or "Not Sweet Things," give them a description and category, and the app will give your life a rating (along with a graphical representation on the "SweetMeter"! You can then brag or share this to your friends on the main social networks... If you feel like checking it out, you can find it here. Remember, it's free! Let me know your thoughts guys! Thanks!
  6. The event usually sells out about a week before the event. However, I wouldn't wait until the 'last minute' as every year we DO usually have people who waited too long, and then miss out. Great to know, thanks!
  7. I haven't really strayed out of SoCal (El Toro is in my dreams every night), but I was really impressed with Canyon Blaster at the Adventuredome in Las Vegas, back car.
  8. I already pick Lex Luthor. But for currently-operating rides, Disney's Tower of Terror. I think the experience is just great, starting from entering the "hotel."
  9. I agree that this could have a multi-hour long wait at times. But more exciting is the prospects of this affecting the other lines in the park, at least in the morning.
  10. Robb, do you know how close each day is to selling out? I know you can't guarantee anything, but could you guess that tickets would still be available Monday?
  11. Something that you can't live with/stand What's worse than being stuck in an indoor section of Splash Mountain listening to the "happy music" for two hours straight?
  12. My favorite song by my favorite artist: Freedom by Rage Against the Machine: Solo, I'm a soloist on a solo list All live, never on a floppy disk Inka, inka, bottle of ink Paintings of rebellion Drawn up by the thoughts I think It's set uplike a deck of cards They're sending us to early graves For all the diamonds They'll use a pair of clubs to beat the spades With poetry I paint the pictures that hit More than the murals that fit Don't turn away Get in front of it Chorus: Brotha did ya frget my name Did ya lose it on the wall Playin' tic-tac-toe Yo, check the diagonal Three brothers gone Come on Doesn't that make it three in a row Anger is a gift Chorus Yo, check the diagonal Three million gone Come on 'Cause ya know they're counting backwards to zero Environment The environment exceeding on the level Of our unconsciousness For example What does the billboard say Come and play, come and play Forget about the movement Anger is a gift Freedom, freedom, yea right
  13. I got the PlayStation 3D Display for Christmas, so I'm trying to focus on 3D games for now... Playing Uncharted 3 and * surprisingly* Motorstorm: Apocalypse.
  14. Why will it be a short queue? Am I missing something? Or is everyone assuming that too many people will be turned away by the height?
  15. People are often successful in leaving large amounts of space between them and the lap bars... However I agree with everything you said after your first two sentences. I am fine with the lab bars, I just wanted to make it clear that Disney wasn't the cause of death(s).
  16. Besides the two people who died on it? I don't really think that they can be blamed on the park... The first death was caused by someone unbuckling their belt and standing up deliberately. The second case could have *possibly* been caused by the park, if they did not fasten the belt correctly, but from what I understand, it isn't known if the second person unbuckled theirs on purpose. I don't see anything wrong with the seat belts.
  17. Interesting stories that were posted earlier from the Magic Mountain page...
  18. ^One of the ride ops told me that they let themselves ride two on one side...
  19. When I was around 10 years old I was at an In-N-Out with my friends and asked the cashier if they served veggie burgers. They said yes. I received my "veggie burger," which was buns with a small amount of lettuce and tomatoes inside. That was my first and last time eating from In-N-Out.
  20. Last week it was turned on when I went, but I can't speak for those who went in the last couple of days.
