  1. ^^Thanks. ^I'm not that dissapointed with the Dejavu closure because I'm *barely* below the hight limit... I was very scared the first time I rode it, and if I didn't have my feeet tucked in, I think I could have kicked the supports I'll report back here some time during the day on the state of the park...
  2. I'll be going to the park tomorrow (alone for the first time :O). Any tips for a lone wolf? I heard some of the rides have a single rider line, but I'm not sure which ones, if anyone knows.
  3. ^Viper seems to hurt less for me if I put my fett into the wall in front of me, but maybe that's just because I'm very tall. It actually hurts to sit in the back part of a car since there's less legroom, so I always sit in the front, which *seems* to be less rough.
  4. I'm just kind of mad that they made the souvenir cups smaller without changing the price... Has anyone else noticed that? I compared the new thinner blue cup to the old red one, and it's definitely shrunk.
  5. Two rides on X2 without getting off (open seat) three Saturdays ago (Key Club "Spirit Competition" day).
  6. ^About the hot days, I've noticed they don't check the date on the drink wristbands... Unless anyone can disprove this, I don't think they change the color. Back on topic: I bet they only really care about having one water ride in the park. I bet they'll tear down all but one water ride if it makes sense for them...
  7. I would guess that Nina might be out next, but that may be just my hatred for it speaking (I find it very boring ); I don't see the point of having it around anymore.
  8. I try to do stuff like this whenever I'm at Disneyland (which is a lot).
  9. Is this TPR Club-members only? If not, is there normally a discount for being a TPR-Club member?
  10. Although I suppose Ninja was sort of a feat when it came out, I think that Ninja is my least favorite ride of any theme park ever. It could just be because of the giant lift hill at the end ,only to find out that the ride is over...
  11. Awesome! I actually live closer to the L.A. Fair than the O.C. Fair, but always go to the O.C. Fair in the summer. I find it funny that save for a few rides, almost all of the rides go straight from the O.C. Fair to the L.A. Fair.
  12. Thanks guys! Sounds like I'l be going... I guess if it's pretty dead I'll try "marathoning" on some rides I was able to get 5 in a row without leaving the station on Scream a few weeks ago.
  13. I might possibly go on Sunday. Anyone know how crowded it usually is on Sundays? Also taking in the fact it's now in December...
  14. Not a coaster, but at the fair there's this ride called Tango ( ), and I'm a pretty big guy (6'2, 250 pounds at the time, now 230 ), and the restraint, which is sort of like a sliver of metal that shoots through under you to lock connected to metal shoulder restraints, started notching outward DURING the ride. I kept pulling it in as I was flipping but it kept coming out. By the time the ride was ending, it was at the last notch outward. I really think I would have fallen out and died if the ride was not over. RCS basically shut me up with 30 free ride passes, and the next time I was at the fair two days later, the ride was closed and they were re-bolting all of the seat restraints. This was at the OC Fair (who uses RCS for rides).
  15. I lived right next to Disneyland when I was very young, so I wouldn't be able to name the first since I was there all the time, but my first coaster with a loop was Montezuma's Revenge at Knott's.
  16. This will be the tallest, longest, and fastest simulation ride ever. Magic Mountain adds another record to the books.
  17. Gotta live up to that motto: "Go big or go home." Also, anyone else ridden X2 when it's very windy? I rode in the very back (front) last night and the ride was VERY rough compared to the morning. Not sure if it was the ride or the wind... I found out the discount on the Flash Pass for those interested while getting my Xtreme pass yesterday, 15%.
  18. I was also there today and yes, it was annoying as hell! They had pep rallys in the Golden Bear theater and I swear you could hear the screaming from all over the park. Haha, I am in Key Club but drove myself so that I could run to X2, and skipped the rally in the Golden Bear. I had a very successful day, actually. Here was my game plan, with some modifications: I ran straight to X2, and got right on. Then I hit Viper. After that, I ran to Riddler's Revenge and followed it up with Batman. After that, I was able to do the unofficial single-rider on Green Lantern. Then, I did Collosus followed by a marathon on Scream in which I was able to ride 4 times without leaving the station. After that, I rode Viper again, and then got in line around 5:15 to ride X2 again with my friend. However, when we got to the front, there was empty seat, so I was able to ride with this kid, and then stay in my seat and have my friend ride with me (so I got to ride X2 two times in a row, and three times overall). However, the fire was off the whole day, but the wind at night made X2 very cold, very fast, and very shaky. Note: I didn't mention the sometimes-long break inbetween rides to hang out with fellow key-clubbers. Overall, it was a great day, and really didn't wait in any lines at all. P.S. I wasn't one of the chanters, but I did yell "Key Club, how do you feel!?" at the top of every coaster, including X2, and got a response...
  19. I just bought my 2012 Xtreme pass that I'll use first tomorrow The parking pass voucher specifically says that it is only valid for Magic Mountain.
  20. Thanks for answering my questions guys, I'm glad to be in such great coaster-loving company!
