  1. ^ He'd be better off trying to raise a few million to buy Rampage and rebuild it somewhere else or also get a decent lease for the land it's on and keep running it there.
  2. ^ While the train chassis and body were original the restraints were also redone by Premier from the awesome Schwarzkopf accordion shoulder harnesses and lapbars to those horrid OSTRs at the same time as the track modifications. I really wish that I had been able to ride it in it's original form considering how awesome Olympia Looping was and how meh I thought Zonga was.
  3. It looks so beautiful and well thought out, it just keeps getting better and better, I can't wait to see what you do for the other areas.
  4. Glad to see Silverwood getting some love, there's something about that park that makes it feel like a small-town family run park and yet it has operations and rides that beat the better corporate parks, oh and the lazy river with a bar in it always seems hilarious to me.
  5. I never sleep past 7:30 am unless I didn't go to bed until after 3:30 am, my body just rises with the sun or even before. Have you ever slept leaning against a wall with nothing else to support you?
  6. They certainly got it right about it not being harmless. Why yes it has, a boring and painful way to sterilize yourself.
  7. Yes. Do you think that Facebook is stupid and pointless?
  8. ^ Personally I think that on average Disney employees are better but the extremes are less apparent at SFMM, I've never met an SFMM employee who goes around talking about how it's their ride entrance, their fastpass machine, their coaster, and then is a total @$$hole about something that you simply don't understand and refuses to explain it to you because they think you can somehow just magically read their mind and figure it out, but I have at Disney. Of course I think that this is partly due to the fact that most SFMM employees are in their early twenties while Disney employees are older, which means that they're more likely to be bitter about some mistreatment that they had experienced earlier in life and would want to get back at people for.
  9. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Disneyland
  10. ^^ Sounds like its a capacity monster, it's that the line will be almost constantly moving, it makes it seem shorter.
  11. They're the same type used on zac-spins with a permanent magnet on the track and a fin on the car.
  12. I'd either change the colors of Diamondback or change the name to some sort of Americana theme, preferably make the entire track natural wood color as well as make the station colors a bit more subdued. Other than that the supports look neat and I'm loving that log flume.
  13. ^ Those last pics make me want to strangle whichever SF executive made the decision to have Premier re-profile the first drop and loop and provide those new trains with those vile OSTR's.
  14. I have a pair of Vibram Five-fingers for running and a pair of Merrell Barefoots for the rest of the time.My only other shoes are some fancy dress shoes to wear with my suit and a pair of really comfortable Cobian sandals for short trips out and going to the beach/waterparks.
  15. ^^ Yes, also the ending of Apocalypse at SFMM is a bit underwhelming, it is great but then dies after the station fly through, stupid preshow buildings.
  16. ^ The over head lap bars as used on DDD not normal OSTR's, I personally dislike standard T-bars because they restrict leg movement and reduce legroom which is a problem if you have really long legs like I do, I've found Intamin to be the worst offender of this by far.
  17. Nice looking trains but the tall person in me wishes they had gone with over head lap bars instead of normal ones for legroom purposes as well as more freedom of movement.
  18. Great Magnum - triangular airtime hills = awesome Maverick - would have been better with the heartline roll but it's still awesome Ghost Rider in the past - lats and airtime, what more is there to say Tremors - tunnel, airtime, tunnel, lats then brakes, nothing more to say Silver Bullet, Raptor, and Afterburn - final cork and helix were awesome and forceful Horrid Goliath - if they had just put in another helix of death instead of a fan curve it would have been amazing, but the didn't so its just crap Millennium Force - just a completely meh experience
  19. I wonder if this was brought on by that question at WCB about bringing back the pins? Either way I think that while the way they were hyping it up was a bit extreme it is definitely a nice thing to add to the park that just helps it become one more step better than SFMM.
