This weekend Cobra the Gerstlauer Bobsled at Paultons Park had a soft opening before it’s officially open next Saturday (18th). Going what the person had put they slowed the lift hill so it not too intense for smaller kids riding. Not rode any of the others yet (hopefully this year), just hope it doesn’t take to much of the airtime towards the end. Guess I find out next Saturday. Link below with some nice interesting Cobra pic's http://porsmond.bravepages.com/Paultons/Paultons3/Cobra.html Ready for the The Helix of death

Single Rider Line in the UK
Inferno Insane replied to dubaidave's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Really the Main Parks in England Alton, Thorpe and Chessington have SRQ and that basically it no other parks I’m aware of have srq. The Best working SRQ are Inferno and Nemesis which move pretty well most of the time . Only bad thing Nemesis srq is open when busy but close when quite, Inferno is open most of the time. Chessington only have SRQ on Tomb Blaster and that’s it (not sure if there add anymore but would be nice if vampire had it ), srq used to be on Dragon’s Fury too but was removed due to the exit being clog up. (Wish that was added back thou so many empty seats now days) p.s Oblivion doesn’t have srq anymore as they remove it (no idea why thou) -

Strongest/Most forcefull Launch
Inferno Insane replied to verticalzero's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Out of the three LIM Launch I have done Xpress, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster & California Screamin'. Liked Xpress more than Rock 'n' Roller even if RnR is 2mph fast, the acceleration seems to cut out quicker than Xpress dose. As for California Screamin' the launch is enjoyable but not as powerfull as Xpress or RnR. -
Stealth at Thorpe Park

Must say better than Rita's trains Only downside shame there no headrest like on Xcelerator, As I'm not looking forward for my neck being near over the headrest -

Re-riding a Coaster
Inferno Insane replied to verticalzero's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Out of these parks below had no problems about rerideing. Thorpe Park / Chessington / Oakwood / Walibi World / Toverland / Efteling /Adventure Island / Avonturenpark Hellendoorn / Paultons Park / Pleasureland Southport / Disneyland Paris and one or two more where I can’t remember at this mon. As for Knott's, having just come back from CA, this weekend just gone had no problems about rerides on Xcelerator/Sliver Bullet/Monty/Jaguar you could just stay seated if no one was in line or move to a spare seat. Out of theses places, I couldn't get rerides. Blackpool - Many times I been, the Nash Station totally empty still wouldn't you stay on so had to walk around. Alton Towers - Unless you can count SRQ being opening on a very dead day on Nemesis and running out the exit quickly and getting in the same seat on the same train you just ridden. Normally SRQ is close on dead days so I hear, so you have to walk round each time. Tivoi Gardens - Even though there web site states no rerides allow did have a few on Dæmonen in November as the park was dead and ride op's said we could. -

Inferno Insane replied to lagg's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Yes that was the Drop Tower which was inside Trocadero. Minus the 2nd Row of seats which it had before. Nice report, haven't visted for a whille, but worth going just for a really good KMG Freakout -

Stealth at Thorpe Park
Inferno Insane replied to Jo's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I guessing that last photo is the exit. Looks a bit small and I’m sure won't be nice pushing pass people looking at there photos when you just want to get pass fast Here's a link that I think some Company did or help with the themeing ? http://www.dynamic3.co.uk/project.asp?ID=207 -

Inferno Insane replied to robbalvey's topic in Random, Random, Random
Just noticed this crazy report made me laugh a little, Robb even if it a work thing sounds you having fab time trying to pop many things before you have to go back. Hope you enjoy rest of your trip before you have to leave. Thinking of Manchester where I haven’t been for years, they still got that Museum where you walk down this Sewer with water flowing down. (Strange I know) Your local BP sounds strange having signs saying “Please Pay before Fuelling" – To many driving off without paying? p.s Looking at the photos, what the Air Horn used for then hopefully not scaring people -

Wasn't much in a hurry to go back to this park after visting last year, seeing I might be in Belgium again sometime this year gusse could tick this off. Coaster wise dose look quite fun and be something new for me of this type. -
