Yeah, I will definately be missing the 0-g rolls on the rides, but it's not that bad. We'll get over it. It's like the double dip on Colossus being removed for another block. The 0-g rools will be removed for hill. Of course they say that Colossus sucks now, but I don't think that B&R will suffer as bad as a fate.

Six Flags Great Adventure is getting a Wiggles World area, as well as Wild Safari Exploration Station.

^ Oh, yeah, I was more directed towards Robb in that post, but it's okay, things happen.

I last drank a pepsi....yum.

^ lol, it's funny how easily you can make something ultimately negative towards you, and turn it around so it could be your own fault. But I think it's funnier becuse it makes logical sense. Anyway, I can't stand having to learn the history of America. I know, it's important to learn it, and I know that in at least New Jersey, you have to pass history to graduate out of high school, but still... And Biology. It's so interesting...when it's viewed generally. But it detail, it's my worst nightmare.

Retro Cedar Point
MattJackson replied to Milkchan's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Heck, put any big rollercoaster that's at CP now in 1963, and it would be extreme. TTD would have been revolutionary to the world!! -
But It's closer to a computer than just a game system. There's no memory card, there's an upgradeable hard drive. And it reads more than Music and game CD's. I think it's worth it, but it's out of my price range. My dad said "If I'M paying this kind of money for it, it'd better be able to take me to work and feed me." So, unless I can come up with $600 to fork over, I'm not getting one.

Kinga ka or top thrill dragster
MattJackson replied to Cressie2's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
uh-oh, I sense more KK vs TTD drama in the future, I'll post now while it's calm... I prefer Kingda Ka. -
Wow, I don't think Dorney tearing down an old building for profit is a reason not to go at all, that really confuses the heck out of me, do people go for a fun time at a park, or to look at old buildings? Want old history? look at Thunderhawk. The thing is ancient, but one of my favorites at Dorney. Pennsylvania is one of the most historic states in America, and I don't think Allentown is the only city with history. I think some people are overreacting over something they wouldn't have noticed if it were still there, the spot went from something that would've been ignored by most, and became a place where people will but lunch. Any it was in the middle of a theme park, which is a buisness that only effectively makes money by moving on with the future, out with the old, in with the new. I think it was a good move on the park. Besides, I don't think bashing Dorney will bring them back.

Underrated (steel) Manufacturers
MattJackson replied to eskater132's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I can't really decide between Premier and Schwarzkopf. Schwarzkopf coasters look like kiddie coasters at forst glance, like Laser at Dorney, so I rode it thinking it was going to be like any other kiddie coaster, exept slightly larger, but it really packed a punch! But I can't deny the intensity of Chiller at SFGAd, so I'm not voting, as I can't make up my mind. -

Yeah, it seems you really did have a good day! How much was the bus from Newark to SFGAd? When I went through them the first time, I dodn't even look at the captions, because I kept thinking that some of them look like paintings, like the first one of El Toro! LOL, vivid imagination here! I almost didn't notice the 200/10 you gave to El Toro -
Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread
MattJackson replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
oh, 50 pages of guessing?? NO!!! Never!!! It's more like 50 pages of the EXACT LAYOUT of the coaster!! We know where everything is going to be and everything, we don't have to wait for CP to make an announcement!! Okay, I'm done now. EDIT: No, seriously, nobody has a clue. 50 pages of pure guessing. But they're having fun. -

Does Wild actually do that? Put peices of the roller coaster by the parking lot, build them, and test them? -
Yes Do you like volleyball?

TR: Six Flags Great Adventure 6/22/06
MattJackson replied to sickskillz14's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wow, you really seemed to have caught a very bad day there. ^Yeah, aside from the big breakdown, Kingda Ka is doing very well so far. I went on April 1st, KK was supposed to be open at 10:00, but didn't until around 12:00. But when it did, it didn't breakdown at all. -
Yeah, sorry about that, but you found it this time, i'll remember that next time. But yeah, I know that cables don't necessarily make it shorter, I was just saying that it isn't the same as taking an entire train apart by car and taking it to the station. I don't really know time differences, but you know my basic point. But there still isn't any other signs of hospitals, exept from what I've heard here. What happened?
