  1. ^ Yeah, I have to second that, it seems to me that people are saying that being restrained will make the ride suck. Like they want to hover over wheel bearings careening down a track at 70mph. We've had great rides in the past with similar restraints, I don't see why this should be much different. I think the wings look cool. Hmmph. Bad news for the thousands of people who like to shuffle horizontally during a ride! /end sarcasm
  2. I'm not sure if the pavement under Kingda Ka is parking lot, as opposed to pavement for repair vehicles or whatever drives along it. Especially when it's darker than the actual pavement, which isn't far. I just thought the second two were funny, S:UF at SFGAd isn't on any grass, but even if it was, they grew grass under it? What, they grew grass on the pavement?
  3. ^People flock to the Chiller in waves, and they're not always predictable. Weird, but then, what can ya do? lol Chiller wasn't rough in the times that I've ridden, and going through the g-roll backwards is now my favorite part. Was there a second launch as opposed to an assisted continuing up the spike? I didn't feel anything like a launch, or even a normal departure. But I like it, it rocks.
  4. umm, how is Geauga pronounced? I was thinking something like "GOW-ja" And I didn't know that Knoebels actually pronounced the 'K'!
  5. ^ Do we really want a B&M smooth woodie? I could say that a lot of us don't , so that's not really a case of discussion. To me, at least. Is B&M going to attempt to create their own version of the Space Diver?
  6. Well, It just seems like you want hypercoasters etc. to invert. It's like combining two different types of coaster, hyper/giga/speed (whatever a speed coaster is), and looping coasters. Hypercoasters are built for speed and airtime and looping coasters are built to well, loop. To combine that is taking away that exitement. Not that it hasn't been tried, or will be tried again in the future. At least how I see it.
  7. Ah, well, they all have their ups and downs But you do make a good point.
  8. ^ Yeah, I think he means that that box where his code is is packed up. NO I also didn't have my code handy, I found this one, and it's working for me. This is for RCT3.
  9. I only saw the loop, what's the other one? Yeah, I was questioning because of these new "incline elements".
  10. Yes, and that is why SFGAd will always be a trend setter, or at least try to be. It only has 2 clones, S:UF, and B:TR while other parks have cloned the Mr. Freeze premier rides as well as B:TR and S:UF. At least I think. I don't consider KK a clone. I think it's been altered anough to be called custom. I'm still a bit weirded out that we don't have a Goliath.
  11. ^ Yeah, that's what I thought. So, Storm Runner is only recognized because it is a good ride, nevermind its length.
  12. What? Were you asking me? I don't know, maybe it could've been a possible name. But Superman seems better and fits in better with the area theme.
  13. ^ I think you saw mine, but let's see what others say. But, OMG, have you even been there? It's not even slightly ghetto, but Kindga Ka is definately something you should get to, wait a long time only for the first time, unless you really like it.
  14. I choose SFGAd because its dual track coasters are a lot lore fun than CP's Gemini. The ride ops were having fun on the Chiller, with the count down from 10, launching at five, thought the Batman side isn't open yet, it's still fun. Rolling Thunder isn't open either, but it is fun with different tracks, you can't always see the other train, but you know it's never far. Just my opinion.
  15. How I feel, it's worth the wait for the first time, but after that, I get to the park early, or I go in the beginning and end of the season for a short wait. By the way, everybody in Jersey isn't "ghetto", and SFGAd isn't "ghetto infested". I just have to say that I found that offensive to me and the people that live around here. We're nice, we mostly keep to ourselves. Don't listen to that stereotype about us. The park isn't "ghetto" by any means, but if you really feel that way, go one of these early weekends while we're still in school, you might not even need a fast pass for a short wait. Basically, my answer's in the forst part.
  16. When we say that it is the launched coaster with the most inversions, I think we meant that it is the first Intamin sit-down launched coaster with multiple inversions, I think. Kanonen has one, but other than that, Storm Runner has the most, depending on whether or not Speed Monster's "pretzel" or whatever is considered inversions.
  17. Yeah, I have to second Worm on this, what are you talking about? There is no personal reference to any coasters, can you just clear that up so I can get your point?
  18. ^ Were they running both sides of Kingda Ka's station that day?
  19. ^ OOOHHHH, lol, I thought he was referring to the coaster designers!! Awwww, SFGAd didn't even get a Goliath yet. I'm surprised that Nitro wasn't named Goliath, though I'm sure it was considered at one point.
  20. lol, yeah, I know It's the 45th anniversary for the chain, but every Six Flags park isn't getting an El Toro. Premier? Where and what did they build? Maybe I missed that.
  21. ^ Actually, Superman and Kingda Ka were built in the normal inverval between coasters. Basically every two years at SFGAd. 1997- Batman & Robin: The Chiller 1999- Medusa 2001- Nitro 2003- Superman: Ultimate Flight 2005- Kingda Ka 2006- El Toro Kingda Ka and El Toro were the only recent coasters that were build in consecutive years, but El Toro is probably for the 45th anniversary of SFGAd.
  22. Storm Runner is a great coaster, but it doesn't really break any records that make it stand out. It's the rocket coaster with the most inversions, but Kingda Ka is the world's fastest and tallest coaster. Storm Runner didn't break any records for height and speed, as far as I know. There are a LOT of great coasters that don't really get talked about. Storm Runner just happens to be one. You can start a fan thread about it, I guess.
  23. ^ Yeah, I've noticed how people do that, like they're scared that its going to be better than their current favorite.
  24. Yeah, I built the coaster before I got the update patches. That's the longest I could go with that coaster type. I got the latest patch, which allowed me to not only get longer coasters, but I can also build tunnels, and I got more scenery. I'm working on it now. Here are some pictures of the longer trains and the launch towers are finally pulling in a few bucks now. New coaster coming soon!! ...and the new trains that run pretty much the same as the old ones. Here are the launch towers with some business
