  1. OHH!! You mean that its very compact!! Okay, I can start over with a new coaster in that area, I don't think I can just weak it at this point. Thanks! This is the kind of support I'm talking about!
  2. Yeah, I've heard that the B&M is unrealistic, but how so? I want to fix that!! I'm going to do some theming a little later on.
  3. Okay, more like two hours, but an update is here!! I didn't really do anything new, exept I had to fire a mechanic who had like 94% laziness! No scenery this time, not yet. Here are the new pics... I'll close this with a pic of the midway near Corkscrew, Yeah, despite its awkward location, Corkscrew is doing rather well. Just a minute after the breakdown was fixed, peeps started flocking to Silver Star. Going up the queue stairs in an RCT3 morning to Silver Star. This is Silver Star's queue line, in the eyes of a guest. You can see the double-swinging inverter in the back. Of course the launch towers get no love...they haven't had a single rider. The invertigo boomerang, in the next area to be developed. My unique inversion, the corktwist! (lol) Two fully loaded trains...right after a break down. These are the Go-Karts that run near Silver Star.
  4. Yeah, I always go for the generic "parky" themes, like scattered trees, flowers, stuff like that. I didn't put them in earlier because I didn't feel like pushing a mouse button repeatedly for like 5 minutes at a time, and I don't think there is a mode where you push the mouse button, and have many trees randomly placed with one click. Thanks! More updates in like an hour!
  5. Yeah, I saw your park, and it was cool!! I didn't decide in a theme, or a name for the park yet. I always put a corkscrew at the front of the park, but I plan to move it to a more suitable location when the pathing system expands more. The B&M won't move, but the corkscrew is moving to the middle of the park when the pathing gets more advanced. I'll post more pictures of what I did tomorrow. Thanks for responding!!
  6. It says that people see my pictures, yet I get no responses. Help me out here, people!!
  7. ^ lol, if that's you in your avatar, I can totally see Jack Black!! I've been told that I look like Danny Glover, but I really don't see it at all.
  8. Okay, I got photoshop back up and running. They're the same photos, but everyone can see them without downloading them. Here you go, they're better quality, and you can see the ones that were dark. I'll close this up with a photo of the spashboats. Here, you can see the same thing, but in a different angle. You can see how the layout goes around the lift hill here. You can see my makeshift tunnel, but I'm very proud of it! Silver Star has a very good exitement rating. It now goes around a lot of other rides, the section is build around it. You can see the twisted layout here, and the B&M dip I've grown to like, and the first drop. Okay, this is the B&M sitdown, Silver Star. I think that name is taken by a real life B&M, so I'm thinking about another name for it. Here, you can see how the coaster interacts with the midway. The basic layout, lift, first drop, cobra roll, and hill with probably no air, but its better than a flat section! Here is the middle of it, the opposite corkscrews and pat of the lift. Here is the corkscrew coaster station and ending. I hate the ending, but hey, whatever.
  9. No, but it sounds like fun! Do you know where my little dog went?
  10. Hey everybody! I made a park in the past, but my computer crashed, and we lost all of our files. We're good now, so here's a new park. The pics are in the next post. I'm open to any comments and suggestions. Thanks
  11. Is there a difference between coaster that you think are overrated and coasters that you just don't like? I'm just asking because some people are posting coasters that never seem to get high ratings. Just a question. For me, it has to be Steel Force. I like it, but I've never found any airtime on it, and its been rated as the best steel coaster, or at least one of the best, when I've ridden a lot better coasters. At that very park, Laser, IMO, is better. It's my favorite at the park right now, and it looks to stay that way for another couple of years.
  12. At SFGAd, I rode Skull Mountain in the back row, and it was a LOT of fun, you're like 3/4 the way up the second lift, and the train speeds up and throws you over the hill, unlike the front, where you're like halfway down the drop before it gets fast. I like GASM too, especially in the back row. It's smoother, and it allows you to watch the rest of the train, and its fun to watch the rest of the riders get knocked around.
  13. This is pretty neat. DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST! It takes less than a minute . Work this out as you read ... Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out! This is not one of those waste of time things, it's fun. 1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate (more than once but less than 10) 2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold) 3. Add 5 4. Multiply it by 50 -- I'll wait while you get the calculator 5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1756 .... If you haven't, add 1755. 6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born. You should have a three digit number The first digit of this was your original number (i.e., how! many times you want to have chocolate each week). The next two numbers are YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!) THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2006) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO SPREAD IT AROUND WHILE IT LASTS. haha, it really works. I posted it in my bulletin on my myspace.
  14. Yeah, I don't think this has been mentioned before, and I fell it needs to be said, Has anybody noticed that on the La Ronde website, when you follow the links to the Goliath page and watch the "Goliath" video, you find that they got a lot of great footage.....of Nitro, at SFGAd? I just wanted to say that.
  15. I got Superman: Ultimate Flight
  16. Isn't every Batman at least *slightly* different? Like different heights, and small changes to the layout depending on terrain? That's what I've heard, other than that, they're pretty much the same. What was the order that the Batman's were built?
  17. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22681 There, a link to the page with the POV requests, Storm Runner is #15 on the list. Mind you, its a big file, and you'll get an entire video with it.
  18. My left hand is virtually useless, if I had to get it cut off, I wouldn't miss it too much. My left foot seem to be stronger than my right. When I start walking from standing or sitting, I always start off with my left. I step up on my left when I get on a bus or anything that is elevated. But I would definately miss it if it got cut off!
  19. I was doing a search for coaster videos, and got linked directly to the video download page. I then looked around the site more, and I found the forums. I looked at them, and thought it would be fun to say something myself, so I joined.
  20. Kingda Ka seems like a pretty cool name, that is until you look up the translation!! Kingda Ka is Swahili for either “lose your lunch” or “omigod, what a ride“!! who'da thunk it? http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/05/20/earlyshow/leisure/main696741.shtml And there's something said at the bottom of the report I really hope is true...
  21. Yeah, my last coaster was Kingda Ka, it seemed to fly ove the top on all the runs I've seen!!
  22. My first coaster of the season was Superman: Ultimate Flight at Great Adventure. What a way to start for me...
  23. I went to SFGAd today, and Medusa was a little rougher than I remember. It threw me around a bit in the Cobra Roll, and again at the corkscrews at the end. GASM is getting almost unrideable, they seemed to have turned off the trims after the first loop, and the following loops were rough at the top and had really strong positive G's pushing hard on you. But its still really good. It wasn't that rough in the front of the blue or red trains, but the white one may have been the problem. Okay, I'm going to try to sleep. I have a headache.
