  1. Still waiting to the point where it's entirely enclosed. Would maybe reduce maintenance.
  2. Odd how Cedar Fair didn't market this as a coaster but did for Northern Lights at Valleyfair. Course this means that Cedar Point is no longer the Cedar Fair Coaster Capital.
  3. If it were up to me, I'd put money on a Star Flyer Swing. Not a record breaker but at least 200ft.
  4. True. But there is a trade-off: Great America is getting a unique AND kick butt ride Most people will never remember the delay after their first ride. It's also one of the shortest lines in the park. Whizzer usually has a longer line. (Whizzer rocks). The other coasters are more popular. Chicago also got Colder weather and more snow.
  5. In modern day, maybe. In history; That would probably be the Edge at SFGAm. Since almost every park had an Intamin 1st Generation Drop Tower at the time; They all probably needed safety upgrades and anti-rollbacks
  6. Why not a Behemoth Bowl/Tornado? They could also use a Family Water area with a Tipping Bucket.
  7. I always thought a GCI Twister would make a good addition. Probably RMC Given Six Flags' recent history.
  8. California's Great America- Gold Striker opened late. Canada's Wonderland- Wonder Mountain's Guardian opened late. Carowinds- Their waterpark opened last weekend. The new slides aren't ready yet. The new dining/show hall isn't ready yet. Cedar Point- Maverick, Shoot the Rapids, and Windseeker all opened late. Dorney Park- Demon Drop, a relocated ride, opened in July 2010. Possessed opened late too, and it was removed from Geauga Lake over a year before it opened at Dorney. Their waterpark opened last weekend and the new slides weren't finished when it opened. Kings Dominion- Dominator opened Memorial Day weekend in 2008. It was relocated. Kings Island- Windseeker opened in June 2011 Knott's Berry Farm- Xcelerator opened late. Windseeker opened late. The refurbished Camp Snoopy/Calico Mine Ride doesn't open for nearly three more weeks. Worlds of Fun- Steelhawk still hasn't opened. It's a relocated ride. It's not just a Six Flags problem. Plus All the following Attractions that haven't opened yet: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Falcon's Fury Diagon Alley Aqua Drag Racers Chima Waterpark I do not like this trend of rides opening late.
  9. 1. They did say Multi-Year, Multi Million expansion 2. I doubt they would close White Water, But maybe sell it back to Herschend (Google if you have no idea what I'm talking about) after the park is properly sized.
  10. Unfortunately, its not included in the unlimited rides pass like the rest of the extreme thrill rides in Luna Park. Wished somehow in the future theyll include them. The trains have arrived as well and they look great! I hope this becomes a huge hit so that Zamperla might invest in another and better ride. Hopefully there will be enough people willing to shelve ten dollars for a ride. They'll probably offer 1/2 off weekday specials.
  11. I say follow SFFT and restore the famous 1st drop and add some double ups and a zero-g-roll.
  12. Am I the only one who wishes the rails were natural color brown?
  13. Sounds like something from Uncyclopedia.
  14. The Current management is the old management.
  15. Superman the Escape AND Lex Luther ran when I was at SFMM. And I'm talking BOTH sides of Superman. Don't know about Lex though.
  16. I believe 91 (The same year they took away Colossus's double dip for a Braking system) and I would guess to lower insurance costs or OSHA wanted OTSR's or something.
  17. Odd considering how Valleyfair doesn't have alot of land to expand on, Chunks of the park floods, and their location makes Summer operations really short.
  18. I forgot that Darien Lake was missing a dark ride of some sort. They haven't had one since Nightmare at Phantom Cave, but I don't think anyone would want to see a big ugly building when they first walk in to the park. Maybe they can turn the old 'Cuda Falls area into a new kiddie land to replace Beaver Bros. Bay, It would be convenient for parents with little kids to have the kiddie land in the front of the park so that they don't have to walk a long way to get there. Mack Splash Battle?
