1. Granted, Except you now have an incurable disease that will kill you in 20 minutes. I wish all theme parks in the world were properly managed, clean, had high capacity, reasonable pricing, and good food.
2. Sounds like Six Flags is taking a page from the Legoland book. Make people pay a huge amount to get to the park and then make them pay more for a waterpark.
3. What effects? That's like saying they took the theme from Nitro.
4. Viper, Revolution, Green Lantern, Lex Luther, and Viper all have Single Rider Lines at SFMM Ragin Cajun did at SFGAm There have to be others, But that's all I know.
5. Most likely no. But now that the vertical construction is done there is a very slim chance that it"ll be open Well Lex Luther and Superman were both operating when I went there, So I don't see why Zoomanjaro would cause Kingda Ka to be closed.
6. Based on Screamscape reports, It has extended hours/days of operations and added new rides. Apparently the Tyre Twist teacups ride helped attendance. Also according to A Certain map search engine, It is approximately 72.4 miles from Dubai. Kind of Like Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa.
7. I'm reading through these (Up to 31) and It's almost like the Blackfish film didn't even try to be accurate. At least (Insert documentarian here) tries to be honest. Travel Channel coaster specials (The ones without Robb) are more accurate than this film apparently. The correction list reminds me of those SNL Fox & Friends sketches where they list corrections.
8. I kind of agree, most of the parks have similar and the same kind of rides. Maybe a different one here and there, but they are pretty much the same. The only sit out parks would probably be there Flagship parks. (SFOT, SFGA,SFMM,SFGAD.) but other than that they are all the same parks. For the most part. You could say the same about The Magic Kingdom/Disneyland parks. The 2 Busch Parks, Legoland, and Universal parks also tend to have the same rides in each park
9. My idea for a Fast & Furious ride would have Been a Test Track/ Launch like Coaster. Basically Fiorano GT Challenge with theming
10. Or that it's exciting by any stretch. SFDK's Sky Screamer was more intense than Windseeker at Canada's Wonderland and that's 2x the height.
11. You guys are lucky that You are getting new shows. All we're getting is the same shows from last year. I wish SFGAm had that stunt show and the LOL Show. Please Jim, Give SFGAm LOL for next year! And say what you will about SFAm or Jim Reid Anderson, But at least they are adding somewhat of a theme to a non-themed area.
12. I think you're forgetting Safari Off Road Adventure which has 3+ hour waits on a regular basis and seems to be the most popular ride at Great Adventure. It has a capacity problem. Keep in mind that the attraction is a good hour+ long.
13. I think the main reason why they failed was cause they sunk 110 million for SeaWorld. Had they not, They would probably still be operating.
14. I'll give you an A for effort, but a better coaster to make that joke about would have been Flying Turns... Or Orphan Rocker.
15. This is nothing compared to the 2015 attraction: Watch two inverted coasters crash into each other by the hour! For $50 more when buying a ticket, you can RIDE the Pain Train. The PAIN TRAIN- the funnest way to commit suicide. Yeah but It's gonna be a B&M So It's gonna be tame, lame, and have little pain.
16. Well actually Six Flags St. Louis got the jump on both on them.
17. He is very enthusiastic and happy. Not as enthusiastic as Jim Reid-Anderson but very happy. Guess I'm going to Alabama in 2015.
18. I can't speak for Robb, but my point was that Cyclops was the last to start falling apart - because it is not that big or fast. The bigger faster coasters were in horrible condition for years... Cyclops just took a lot longer. Bummer Ohh... Never mind then. Sorry Robb and you.
19. Luckily for my tastes, Cyclops is not much of a 'big' coaster. It seemed to hold up over the years pretty well... but even it has started showing serious signs of neglect last summer. It was pretty brutal this past year. Far more brutal than ever before. Sad... You say that like your surprised Mt. Olympus would let a coaster deteriorate. Can you spell Hades
20. Or Zamperla, Considering what they've done to Coney Island, I'm sold.
