  1. I prefer Sky Screamers over Windseekers. There's something about the chain that makes it more thrilling. Also those operate without hours of downtime or breaking down.
  2. Please tell me you have more 10 year plans for other Six Flags parks.
  3. If it's like Waldameer/Beech Bend, It'll be amazing.
  4. Rode a Bowl slide with a tube and by the time it hit the bowl section, I fell out of the tube and hit my head.
  5. I think the lack of backlash on Universal V Disney is that Universal is adding stuff left and right. In the last 2 years (2013 and 2014), Universal added: Despicable Me 2, Transformers, Springfield, Twirl and Hurl, Revamped City Walk, Cabana Bay Beach Resort, Diagon Alley, That Train Ride, Gringott's Coaster, and Aqua Drag Racers (10) Disney added: My Magic +, Four Seasons Resorts, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Festival of Fantasy Parade, New Restaurant at Epcot, Disney Jr. Update, Festival Of the Lion King (7) Let me know if I left any out. Basically Universal is giving you (IMO) a better ROI.
  6. You must not have ever seen this update.... http://www.themeparkreview.com/parks/photo.php?pageid=173&linkid=6791 Maybe try it on a Looping Coaster
  7. Allow it near food venues? Sorry couldn't resist.
  8. Is there a smooth enough coaster that would not crack an egg? (Insert B&M jokes here)
  9. I hate smokers honestly. If you want to speak through a hole in your throat fine, But I want to live til' I'm at least 50. That's what I love about Storybook Land; Their smoking section is outside of the park. Which is where all smoking sections should be. If you want to smoke, Don't go to a populated area. Simple as that.
  10. You can ride a looping coaster without needing any kind of restraints Lack of supports make a ride more dangerous Roller Coasters can run in 0 Degree Temperature Wooden Coasters can withstand wind speeds of up to 80mph Do different rows of coasters provide different Lateral/Positive/Negative G-Forces
  11. Six Flags America? Granted they had Two Face, But currently they do not offer a Boomerang. Also they are nearly 6 hours away so a Simple repaint/rename and nobody's the wiser.
  12. If I were in charge of Six Flags, I would convert Cyclone back to it's original layout/ at least restore the former drop by RMC. SFGAdv also has never had a Boomerang.
  13. I agree. It was the first Horror film remake to scare me (I'm looking at you Texas Chainsaw 3D, Halloween 1/2, Friday The 13th, and Nightmare On Elm Street) I really like Texas Chainsaw 3D. It may not be scary but I really like the story line and how it ends. Leaving lots of room for another. I just watched Lovelace for the first time and I really enjoyed it. I wasn't sure how believable Amanda Seyfried was going to be as a porn star since I always see her playing these safe roles. I was surprised in a good way. She is such a good actress in my opinion and I think she pulled this role off well. I loved the cameos by James Franco and Adam Brody. I am very intrigued by Linda's story and I plan on seeing if the library has her book. If you want to see a non-safe Amanda Seyfried role, Watch Chloe.
  14. Wasn't Alton Towers supposed to build a Shrek re-theme before they picked CBeebie's Land?
  15. Also Silver Dollar City, Dollywood, Valleyfair, And Worlds Of Fun are also near Major Metropolitan areas. Wild Adventures is in Valdosta. No offense but Valdosta is no Branson or Kansas City.
  16. I went by the park in 2013 and it was closed. Guess I'll never go back.
  17. Then go ride American Eagle and Viper, Goliath isn't trying to be a traditional wooden coaster Joking aside, SFGAm already has two very good examples of traditional wood coasters, adding a third would be kind-of redundant. If no-one ever broke with tradition then we'd have no "plug and play" wood coasters, no inverted coasters, no impulse or launched coasters, heck we wouldn't even have steel coasters. This is a thrill-ride in an amusement park, it's totally OK to go a little mental (I would even argue that it should be encouraged!) ... I can totally understand how some people might be concerned that crazy-insanity coasters like this might mean the end of new traditional wood coasters, but I personally don't see that happening. I can't see the future of course, so I have no proof; but just like there's room in the industry for many different types of steel coasters, there should be room for various types of wood coasters too. History has shown us that gigantic traditional wood coasters just don't work (Son Of Beast, Mean Streak, Voyage, and many many others), devising new technology to deliver these types of thrills is a Good Thing . Cameron. We also have a very good Little Dipper wooden coaster.
  18. I agree. It was the first Horror film remake to scare me (I'm looking at you Texas Chainsaw 3D, Halloween 1/2, Friday The 13th, and Nightmare On Elm Street) [quote name="tarheel1231" Saw the Lego Movie and I LOVED it! This should be no surprise as the geniuses who made "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" 1&2' date=' and 21 & 22 Jumpstreet, made this masterpiece. I feel like the ending with the live action was a little strange. Other than that, this movie was great![/quote] They didn't do Cloudy 2.
  19. WOW! I was not expecting this at all. Knoebel's needs to teach Six Flags a thing or 2 about Surprise announcements.
  20. Dark/Indoor Attractions #1- 12/20 Thorpe Park- 18/25
  21. You think Cedar Fair is going to licence it to the Amanda Seyfried Movie? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gone_(film)_2012 Sorry I couldn't resist.
